Old lady they have working at this location who I'd never even saw before was rude to me about my 3 year old! He opened the ice cream cooler looking for an ice cream and she tells me not to let him play with the coolers while I'm standing right behind him. Then my sons holding a big ball in his hands walking around with it and she gets inches from my face telling me to not let him bounce it in the store because there's older people in the store. He wasn't bouncing it at all. The whole time we were in the store she was watching us.. Everytime she interacted with me she was rude with her snarled face like she was the most miserable person ever.. I will be going to family dollar from now on!

Employees are chill and very nice. The only complaint I have is that products are everywhere. The further back you go, the worse it gets. U-boats/floats with unopened boxes in front of products that are hard to grab. Making you have to move the boats/floats for them. Anywhere near the front and it looks better. That isn't the fault of the employees per say, since they are overworked and have little time to stock. I typically spend 5-10 minutes in here which is quick compared to other stores.

So happy to see Crystal is back!!! She always greets us with a smile and has a positive attitude. She is always working when we come in and stops to ask if we need help finding anything. That Store needs more people like her. She is very respectful and kind to customers. We could see the difference when she left and now that she's back it's cleaner and more stocked. And makes our shopping an enjoyable experience. Definitely love her! The new manager though has a bad attitude. And acts like she hates her job.

Since Trisha and her team took over the store has gotten better with things in stock. The lady that said Trish was rude didn't tell the whole story. I feel if you are going to be disrespectful towards someone tell the truth, yes she is stern but she has to be to get the store in line and keeping the customers happy.

I loved going there for years until lately! New employee TRISH has treated me so badly, I never go in again when she is there!! Rude, making faces, when I told her finally she has a really bad attitude she told me YES AND IM PROUD OF IT!!! And to go someplace else..... Really?????👎👎

Love the new girl Crystal here, she is so sweet, always helpful not only to me but other customers in the store and always smiling with customers even when the new system they just got crashed on her. When I check out she always asks if I found everything okay or if there is anything she can help me find. She's always working when I come in and stays busy.

Their isles are open and plenty wide. The shelves are adequately stocked with a few varieties to choose from. It's clean considering how busy they were. The cashier's were very friendly even though the lines were long and seemed never ending. Customers were not nice or considerate especially considering the time of year.

Always in and out.It's almost the closest food store to me. Good prices and nice section of items. Also it has saved my behind so many times with its hours of staying open till 10pm. Where I live, in the boonies, we don't have many choices, but I am so happy for our Dollar General. Last, great staff, very attentive and friendly.

I forgot a bag of items that I had purchased. I called them and they had it, they were so nice to set it aside for me and they were gracious about it, even during a hectic day with Inventory going on. They are always pleasant and ask if I need help finding things. They are an Awesome staff ! 😊

Its very busy in these stores. The staff is over worked. These stores continue to make large profits. See the stock prices on NYSE (DG). Most of the times when you see the store in disarray, it's because these guys are doing it all. Unloading the trucks, stocking the shelves, ringing up customers, cleaning the store, setting up clearance items inside/outside of the store and Inventory. There's just a handful of employees for each store. Moving up the ladder doesn't pay any better either. But I digress, the truth is the products are usually cheaper because you purchase less product but like all stores they get you on impulse buys. You can find a few hidden gems if you look hard enough. You can find a few bargains on everyday items and some new items if the online crowd doesn't come in and sweep the shelves. I like the staff, I like some of the products and prices but corporate needs to change a few things.

This is a clean store that sells a little of everything. They offer a wide selection packed into a small store with narrow & tall aisles, yet quite well-organized & tidy. Their grocery selection is larger than a convenience store or even a drug store, and includes refrigerated & frozen items. They also sell household items, cosmetics, apparel, bagged ice, and lots of other miscellaneous necessities. While you pay a bit more for convenience here, most categories feature sale pricing, as well as a variety of discounted store-brand items. Multiple cashiers are available at checkout, although this store is very busy and we still had to wait our turn to pay. Also, a Redbox is located outside for 24/7 access.

What can be said? Dollar General is your typical discount storeUpper management is afraid to hire enough help so the employees have to do the work of two. Our Floral City store has good people working there. They work hard and do a good job keeping the checkout moving. No I don't know anyone there so that's not my reason for sticking up for them. I just think the store could be 5 stars with a little bit of a tune up.

Tonight was a good visit got treated right and with respect that is not always the case at this particular store your manager is very rude and I almost have quit shopping there I shop at most the other ones and said even though I live in Floral City cuz she thinks she's better than everybody else and her attitude is really not professional in the store is always a mess and you can't get assistance without being treated rudely she's nice to some people she's nice one day and then not the next store is always in disarray and in a mess can't find things or you got to step over things and move things around on the floor not very safe and your stock is always low on everything from milk lighters sugar always running out of everything at that store only one that does

Small store with just about everything you need in it. Store is always busy, and they have good prices. Usually always a sale going on it seems. Store is clean, and its easy to get down the isles. Cashiers are quick and attentive.

If you've ever been to Dollar General stores you know they can be unpredictable. Some are rather disorganized and stock can be hit and miss. This particular DG is consistently stocked and we'll laid out. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely my favorite DG in the area.

They have Masks Required posted to make ppl feel safe yet I was in line with 8 people NOT wearing masks and 2 weren't even wearing shoes or shirts. So glad they care about us healthcare workers! 😥😤

The store was packed. I'm not sure if maybe it was just the time of day. I grabbed 3 items and when I went to check out the line was longer than when I walked in. Items were stocked for what I needed. A second cashier came up shortly after I arrived in line and another lady behind me. Once there were two cashiers we were all gone in a matter of minutes.

DON’T USE THIS LOCATION!! This Dollar General looks like it should be in the middle of the hood! Constantly out of stock and no it’s not because of Covid! The Dollar General less than 2 miles away in Inverness seems to have everything you could ever want all the shelves are full. But the Dollar General in Floral city the shelves are always empty to the point it looks like we’re still in the grips of Covid. Poor management in my opinion if the Dollar General right down the road is fully stocked and the Dollar General in Floral city the shelves are always empty. It used to be a great store.

Didn't even seem like a Dollar General on the inside. Dirty, employees were hard to spot as non were in any kind of uniform. Felt like I was at run down truck stop. The smell was horrible. The shelves were a mess and unclear of product placement.

This store is a lifesaver, I can buy some items when I'mrunning low, without having to drive all the way to the grocery store. I always buy cleanings supplies for the business and candles for my house, which are awesome during fall as and christmas!

This Dollar General store is close to our home. The staff is very friendly, however the store itself is not clean. Sometimes there's not enough help there so the checkout line is backed up but this is not the fault of the staff.

This is the parking lot of the Floral City store. When I went in and spoke to the manager, she said "we have a lawn company that is responsible for cutting the grass. I said well you need to have someone pick up the trash she said it wasn't their responsibility.....

I put my mask on, went in, grabbed what I needed, hit the front register, high-tailed it out of there, and went home. Easy-peasy.Although, I hear it's a lot more difficult during business hours when the store is open.

I stopped in Dollar General this afternoon pick a few things up we're fixing to go out of town. There was a big display of small bags of chips as you went in the door on the end of the display a big yellow and black sign that said two for a dollar so I picked up six little bags of chips proceeded to get some other things in the store and when I got out to the checkout line the young man said will this be on you and I looked up and the chips were ringing up $0.75 a bag and I said excuse me the sign says two for a dollar so he calls this girl up front and I'm assuming she was the day manager. With a bad attitude. And she proceeded to tell me on the bag is $0.75 or two for a dollar and a half I said that's not the point your sign says two for a dollar well that's not that row it's the other rows. I'm not falling for it she refused to give me the chips 2 for a dollar. I told her to delete them off. And I told her that they need to change the sign because it is very misleading if it's only certain items they need to be by their self and not mix in with other things. So my point is this so-called manager day manager whatever she was, needs to get an attitude adjustment and be more polite with her customers.

Very clean and organized store. Each time I come here I’m impressed with how clean the store is🎉 There’s hardly ever a line at the register and if there is it moves fast.
