The best employee is angel. She is sooooo knowledgeable about everything from fish to dogs. Knows every product in the store. Will personally teach you how to care for every animal, reptile or fish to have a long happy life with the animal. I will always shop at my local petco based on angel.

Aside from cat trees being overpriced and often a lack of selection on certain goods, they regularly sell sick, dead, and dying fish for full price, recently purchased a more pricey fish that appeared to be somewhat healthy here after doing research, and it still died after only a week! Employees are alright, decent customer service, but this company is known for animal mistreatment and this location is no different.

It was a smooth interaction with the vet area and they were kind to our little furry family member. It did smell of cigarettes however, being an ex smoker I can relate to the need of the nicotine addiction. The lack of five stars was this and that the line was a bit long and they only had one person at the register this caused about a 10 minute wait to pick up and already paid for order.

This is a very nice pet store. They have a huge selection of items, but it seems like the last couple of times I have been in there, they did not have what I was looking for. It's still a great store, though.

Went here to get some aquarium advice for my fish. They told me that there was nothing that I could do and that the fish was going to die. I ended up going to another local pet store and they helped me buy the right supplies. The fish made a full recovery.

I bought crickets for my bearded dragon 4 bags half dead in each bag and only one bag was large the store was not busy and they were all just chatting with each other about personal things in their lives I don't need to hear about their sexual problems i got charged for 4 bags of large crickets. Used to get my dog groomed there and for some reason every time I picked her up she seemed terrified and really tired like she was given something. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANY OF THEIR LOCATIONS!!!

This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a pet store. My past 3 orders have been cancelled last minute for in store pickup AND today I ordered same day delivery before the cut off time that THEY CREATED, they then proceeded to delay it without providing any updates. I had to call customer service just to get information on my order and to ultimately get a refund. They will NEVER get my money again. QA is clearly down because why would the website ever let someone order and take their money when the product is not in stock or same day delivery is no longer available..

This was the worst experience I’ve had with PetCo. I typically order via the app because of the coupons but my mobile order was canceled on me THREE times on separate dates with no reason why. This caused me to spend more on the items I was getting. The associate at the store told me they can’t honor any online discounts even though my order was systematically canceled. Horrible service and experience!!

Fish are always sick. The staff are never knowledgeable about live pets they sell. Items are three times the price they are on Amazon. Unless you're in a pinch I suggest getting your pet supplies online at chewy or Amazon. This place is ridiculous.

This store was horrible. Witnessed handicapped lady being chastised about her dogs in front of everyone. Management and employees are rude and not helpful. The whole picking on handicapped made me sick, will never go to this store again. Had to say something, it should be addressed to act like you have some degree of caring. Somebody should have a long conversation with them about there customer service. I don't do business with places that treat customers like they did.

Went there to see what small animals they had and their staff are the most unfriendly people. Not a single person acted like they could be bothered to stop stocking shelves or wiping down a counter to even say hello or offer assistance. Ended up leaving without a small pet and all the supplies for it which was why I went in there. Also for anyone who wants to save time, I didn't see a single Chinchilla nor a single spot for one. So apparently they aren't an option. Wanted a male Guinea Pig

Lack of appreciation and consideration for a customer that usually are consistent visiting and look for best care like I had in Petsmart. Also Petsmart validate and offer the online prices as well thing that PETCO don't care.

Took my mother-in-law's dogs to get their grooming done. The office knew exactly what to do because of course they are regulars. Mother in-law was pleased with the work!

This isn’t my go to pet store- they just happened to be the only place in town that had the bag of food that I needed. Sadly, they only had one bag, and it was pushed all the way back on the top shelf. No help in site, so I ended up having to use my walker to reach it while my other half spotted me.Since we were here we checked out the kitty section. We wanted to get a litter genie. They were well stocked on these and thankfully they were close to the floor. An easy pick up!With our two items in hand we headed to checkout. The cashier was friendly, and the process was quick.

Nikki @ the Fleming location 32003 , is more then Fantastic. She doesn't just have knowledge of the product , she also knows what doesn't go with what. Thank you for her ! The cashier was also very pleasant, but need to inform the guests that there is a charge for the carry out bags .

I took my 16 year old Border Collie mix to Petco today for a bath and haircut. Her hair was long and she has a really thick undercoat. Ashley was her groomer, she did a fantastic job with Irene! Ashley took her time with Irene, she is a senior dog, called me with updates. I almost cried when I saw her she looked marvelous! I think she enjoyed her groom! The prices are so reasonable. I highly recommend Petco!

We use the dog trainer at our local Petco to help socialize and train our puppy. She is great - very patient, knows her stuff and the dogs love her. The only drawback to the store is that although their selection of products is extensive, I think their prices are high.

First time in the Fleming island store, I was not impressed, it was not very clean, floors dirty, product shelves not full and not marked clearly and it smelled so bad like a barn full of animals, I know petstores have a particular smell, but this store made me want to leave very quickly because of the very strong animal smell, also there were not very many employees to help me with what I needed I had to hunt down someone and they said I don't work that area that person went home already! Just was not impressed! On the plus side the cashier was very nice and friendly!

I've always been told if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. If you're not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem. Please please help this store with customer service and K9 training. It's not fair😪💔 I don't know about you, but I would take a bullet for my dog. Pets save lives. They serve us. They deserve better. In conclusion, I would happily donate my time to help them. And to the young man I met in the store, Josh, you have a great friend indeed...Miss Nala
