We had a VERY bad first impression. The lady immediately said the dog was overweight and to stop giving dog treats and even CARROTS. She was very condescending and just downright RUDE. We changed our mind and took the dog home. She just kept repeating “nervous owner” on our way out the door. The place was not clean and one employee was even shirtless. We were quoted one price over the phone and then it was more than that once we arrived. This review is just to let everyone know to BE AWARE! Do your research and form your own opinions.

We absolutely love Sharon. She is the best groomer we have had!! Our little girls have standing appointments every 5-6 weeks. They love her too!!!She even does our big babies nails and ears when we need them done. If I need to talk to her or have any questions, I'll leave a message and she always calls back.

Went to have both my puppies nails cut today. Sharon was great! She not only cut nails but cleaned ears and scent glands. She also trimmed around puppies hineys and faces. All this was only $15 for each puppy. She does only take cash or check and I didn't know this til afterwards so she told me just to bring the money back by. I will definitely go there again and recommend her.

Absolutely love this place! Sharon is very knowledgeable,friendly and helpful,felt very comfortable leaving my babies with her and she did a great job!Felt like I've known her forever though it was my 1st time there...she makes you feel at home and welcomed!

Sharon is AWESOME! Extremely professional with her work. Groom's show dogs. She is also a Vet. Tech.Everytime I go to my vet he is amazed on how fantastic my Shih Tzu's look.I've had sooo many terrible Groomer's until Sharon. You will DEFINITELY NOT be disappointed.

Sharon the owner is very personable and gets to know you and your dog on a personal bases, this is not a shop where your dog is on a conveyor belt and is rushed through the process. They start with a bath using high end show products according to your dogs skin condition, then they are hand dried as to not get overheated with any cage dryers, if they have to use a cage dryer (which is very rare but sometimes the coats is very thick and needs a bit more help) the heat is turned off so it's just normal air on the dog. They cut the nails, grind them so they aren't sharp, clean the ears, clean the anal glands and then they get to rest in the cage for a bit. Then they get groomed. They are never rushed through the process and if you ever want to watch your pet get groomed Sharon has an open door policy, you are always welcome in the shop.

Horrible experience. She told us to bring our dog in at 10 a.m. We didn't get her back until 3 pm. The groomer left the shop for an extended real estate appointment, then came back and had lunch while our 12-1/2 year old dog waited. It was the first appointment with this groomer and will be the last. The groomer also concocted malicious gossip about our former groomer, a good lady and her husband who are experiencing the most painful thing parents can go through. Sharon doesn't know what she is talking about, and it is so low of her to start false rumors about them. Evil! Expect her to gossip about you when you walk out.

I felt very comfortable leaving my little dog here to be groomed while we were in town visiting. The owner is very professional but also very compassionate. She did a great job and I knew my dog would be safe and cared for during her grooming.

My Dee Dee ,a pomeranian, has been going to Sharon at Dog's Choice for 10 years. She grooms her and even cleans her teeth. I take her every 4 weeks,and she looks beautiful every time.I even took my friend's dog and the magic Sharon worked on that dog was incredible. Stay away! I will never take my dogs back. The previous groomer at this site was exceptional and my dogs came out happy and gorgeous. Not so with Dogs Choice. I almost walked out because the owner's husband was yelling and swearing, wish I had listened to my gut. When I got back for my pups, my 10 yr old cancer survivor was crying and after we got in the car the 5 yr old started bleeding. She never told me she cut 3 nails into the quick! Nope, not going back, will not subject my pups to this environment again.

Would not go back to this place - gave her a second chance. I explained my dog is old and has too much anxiety being in the crate for a long time. She promised a first appointment would get my dog in and out. Dropped my dog off at 8:45 at noon I still did not hear from her. I called - no answer - left voice message no return call - called again finally reached her at 12:30. I told her I wan't happy with the length of time my dog has been there. She said your dog was ready at 11:30 and I asked why I didn't get a call to pick her up - she was nasty and told me she is a very busy woman and has lots of walks ins and hung up on me. Could you image the nerve! My husband picked up our dog & the owner charged an additional $10 (she knew I was never going back)and only trimmed my dogs paws and face - what about the rest of her? The bill was $58.00.

I take my two large breed rescue dogs here every month for a nail clipping. I have been to many groomers over the course of their lives, but Dog's Choice is definitely my favorite. I don't even live in the area, but my Dad does. So, once a month, I pack up the family for a visit to Dad's house and we make an appt at Dog's Choice while we are here. For a quick nail trim, you can usually get worked in on the same day. The price for the services is usually 25% less than most groomers as well. Plus, the women who work at the salon are incredibly sweet to my nervous pups. Once I started thinking about the qualities I want in a groomer (1) decent availability in their schedule (2) affordable prices (3) kind groomers... I just stopped going to groomers near my home. It would be pretty hard for someone to beat this salon.

I will NEVER bring my dog back to this woman. She had my 10lbs peekapoo in a crate with a leash on and a Velcro band around his mouth. He is 11 years old, blind, and probably the sweetest dog you'll ever meet... A leash in a cage is dangerous, the dog could hang himself, and if she was done grooming him, there eas no reason for the 'muzzle'.This was the second time I brought him, and both times I noticed her young assistant be very rough with dogs that she was grooming. Grabbing their neck and shaking the dog, telling it to stop.I am a dog trainer, I understand how to settle a dog, and that certainly wasn't the way. I would like to see this woman get trained, or get out of the grooming business.

Brought my 14 week old pup in to get his nails clipped and asked her not to go so fast and pull on his leg. I don’t want him to become table shy. Her negative attitude and her condescending statement I feel sorry for his groomer was not appreciatedI feel sorry for any animal she grooms it’s obvious that she doesn’t care about their reactionI wouldn’t take a dead dog there
