Amazing experience on pontoon boat exploring the everglades around 10,000 islands. Dwain and Jeremy were excellent captain and first mate, so knowledgeable about area and experience with local history and conservation!! Saw so many birds…osprey, herons, egrets, brown and white pelicans, cormorants, wood stork, etc…Dolphins played peek-a-boo with our boat and frolicked for awhile. Definitely recommend this experience!!

Great tour, 3 hours goes by in a flash, saw everything from dolphins to manatee to frigate birds and tortoises. The history and ecology are well delivered. Captain Bobby and Cheese are awesome, and the boat has plenty of room even for a pup. 2nd time on this tour and will go again!

Captain Jake and his mate Sheeston were great! They ran a safe boat and had expert knowledge of the area. They knew where to go to see the wildlife. We saw dolphins, manatees and a loggerhead turtle. We also observed a group of Roseate Spoonbills, a Great Egret and an Osprey eating a fish it had just caught.

It was worth the money (which isn't a whole lot.) Nice relaxing way to see a lot of a very unique and delicate ecosystem. We didn't see as much wildlife as we hoped but that's wildlife, they don't operate on your schedule lol. No fault of the 2 guides Bobby and Cheese who were excellent and kept us interested and entertained throughout (Bobby especially.)We saw manatees in the water at a distance, dolphins, and at one point a spotted eagle ray leapt out of the water maybe 75 yards in front of us. Nice assortment of birds too.Even without all that, the ride is very enjoyable with great views and very cool local history.

While on a road trip from Colorado to Key West in March 2022 we enjoyed the 10,000 Islands tour on a late Monday afternoon. The boat was uncrowded, so we were able to easily move about to see the wildlife. Our captain was great (don’t remember his name). He very knowledgeable about the area and knew were to take us to see wildlife. We saw osprey, dolphins and a manatee. Great fun! Highly recommended!

Bobby and Cheese did absolutely amazing for our tour. They were very knowledgeable about the Everglades and the mangroves of 10,000 islands. They also were very aware of different spots to try and see wildlife, so we were able to see quite a lot of different species including dolphins, manatee, roseate spoonbills, ospreys, and pelicans. Even with some cloudy overcast skies making it difficult to see through the water, they pointed out different locations to see the animals. This is 100% worth the money. You will not regret it.

Enjoyed a spectacular tour of the Ten Thousand Islands with Everglades Florida Adventures! We departed from Port of the Islands Marina, near Marco Island, and were out for 3 hours. The group was not too large, allowing ample space for everyone to move around the boat. The captains were fantastic! They were knowledgeable and personable, and they steered the boat with experience and ease. They checked in individually with each guest to answer questions, offer local recommendations, and ensure we were enjoying the tour. They shared knowledge about wildlife conservation, and I appreciated their concern for respecting the wildlife we saw on our tour. We saw manatees, alligators, herons, bald eagles, pelicans, and dolphins! It was a magical and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this tour group!

We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Everglades Florida Adventure! This was the boat tour going out of Everglades City (actually 10 minutes out of Everglades City), not Flamingo. We saw manatees, alligators, spoonbills, white pelicans, dolphins, and tons of great blue herons/egrets/wood storks! The boat ride was about 3 hours long but honestly we didn't want it to end! Our guides, Bobby and Andrew/Alex (we can't remember his name but he was truly amazing), were incredibly knowledgable and just wonderful to spend time with. You could tell that they really enjoyed what they were doing, they were almost as excited about the animals as we were! Would highly recommend this boat tour, we had a great time!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area and the wildlife, and had lots to say about the area. He paid very close attention to the surrounding so no one missed out on spotting anything. We saw all different kinds of birds, several dolphins, one of which played in the wake of our boat, and even a manatee. It was a very enjoyable experience that I would certainly do again.

Went on a Saturday 12pm tour and from the very start it was just magnificent. Very easy to figure out where to go and check in. The captain (forgot his name) was very funny, but also very informative. They also have another guy on deck to that is very informative and answers any question you can think of (Daniel I believe) Very impressed with how perfectly they executed the whole excursion. The boat was very clean comfortable. As far as the actual boat tour, saw so many dolphins and they were tailing the wake of the boat for a good ten minutes which was definitely the highlight. Saw a bald eagle, and some other birds you don't normally get to see. I actually learned a lot about Everglades National Park and the Ten Thousand Islands. Trust me, it's 100% worth it!

What a great experience this was! Our captains were knowledgeable, hilarious, and very observant in spotting and pointing out wildlife and scenery. They were just as excited as the passengers when we saw dolphins, manatees, raccoons, and various birds on our trip. I believe their names were Daniel and Travis? I hope I remember correctly. They were awesome!

The tour was awesome. Our tour guide was SO knowledgeable and funny! I loved that we went over the history of the everglades and the people who inhabited the 10,000 islands. We saw several animals including a spoonbill, eagle rays, osprey, and dolphins!! Our captain drove slowly and circled around where the dolphins were hunting to make sure we all got the best view possible.Wonderful experience, and I'd definitely go again!

While the scenery was beautiful, Captain & First Mate extremely friendly, and tour informative, I still felt the price was too high for the value received. We chose the Ranger led tour at 10am and was a bit disappointed it wasn’t chock full of interesting asides. I also hoped we’d get an up close look at the mangroves. Price aside though, it was nice to see the Everglades from the water.

If you are looking for the well-known, Captain Bobby, then you found the right place! Why would you be looking for this specific captain? Well, that's because you won't find another one who loves what he does and respects the area and wildlife as much as Bobby. I always look for him when coming to Florida because 1) I learn something new every time, 2) he cares, and 3) he really tries not to disturb the wildlife. They used to start tours out of Everglades City, but are now leaving out of Port of the Islands. This longer tour was PERFECT! We saw all the things we were hoping for: manatees, alligators, dolphins, ospreys, bald eagles, cormorants, tons of herons, egrets, and so much more! If an animal is there, Bobby and Sheeston (Cheese) won't miss it!

Very informative and scenic your of the Ten Thousand Islands. You will likely see some dolphins, a ton of cormorants and if you are lucky some manatees. I only give 4 stars because their online reservation system doesn't align with actual tour times. We registered for a 9AM tour but first one was for 9:30AM. Not huge deal for us since we didn't have time constraints but just something to note.

What a great way to spend an afternnon....out on the way in the Everglades. Very informative guide. Comfortable seating, make sure you pee and water up before the trip - no options once you're on board.

Opted for this instead when I couldn't book an airboat tour travelling by myself and this was a pleasant surprise. Captain Bobby was very informative and I learned a lot about the park and Ten Thousand Islands. We saw a few pairs of dolphins, one of them following our wake for a minute or two. Saw some manatees, a family of ospreys, a cormorant.Would recommend doing this instead of an airboat tour if you are not looking for a thrill ride. Some people seem to have issues cancelling or rescheduling so beware.

3 hours is too long idling through the channel. Saw some wildlife but not as much as expected. Also, no bathrooms on board made it hard on my 4 year-old (luckily had diapers)

The process to rent a kayak was simple. Everything was handled online (including waivers). I arrived and instantly received the double kayaks I asked for. At $35, the price was very reasonable for 2 hours. We were told the waters were choppy ahead of going out -- and it was! Try to plan your trip around a day that waters will be calm. A storm was approaching later in the day.If you're an experienced kayaker, you should have no problem island hopping. I'd even recommend getting a 4 hour rental. Pack a bag full of snacks, water and make a day out of spending time exploring Ten Thousand Islands. Please pick up after yourselves!

The perfect everglades experience! Fun fact, airboats aren't allowed in the National Park itself. EFA's boats not only take you into the National Park, but can get you right up next to the manatees that call it home. Our naturalist skipper, Captain Bobby, was fun, friendly, knowledgeable, and a wizard at the helm. He and the first mate spotted and identified every animal we came across from Swaow-tailed kites to a frigatebird, spotted eagle rays, and no less than 8 manatees.Captain Bobby was also able to divulge a wealth of information about all of these incredible animals too. Moreover, he explained the value of the mangroves in protecting the coastline and how they grow. He handled the boat skillfully so as to provide us the smoothest ride possible in spite of the choppy waters while also taking care to not disturb the manatees we were tracking. This kept them relaxed and allowed us to get within 10 feet of some.Bottom line, take this tour. You won't regret it.

Great tour! Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We were very fortunate to see a TON of dolphins. They played and jumped in our wake for more than 5 minutes. It was spectacular. We also saw eagles, roseate spoonbills and a variety of other unique birds

My boyfriend and I were skeptical when we booked this, but it was awesome! Our guide was super knowledgeable - he could answer almost any question. And because he knew his stuff, he knew how to keep an eye out for manatees, dolphins, etc. Some highlights: seeing a baby and mom manatee and having dolphins come up to surf the boat’s wake. I also felt like the guide was very considerate of the wildlife and never got in the animals’ way or made them feel harassed. This was so much fun.
