I love, love, LOVE Paws & Effect in Eustis! When I moved here from western Michigan, I had NO IDEA where to take my 2 golden retrievers for grooming. I did some online research & found Paws & Effect! Sooooo thankful I did!They are VERY kind & accommodating to my girls! Every time they are groomed they are simply gorgeous! In addition to this, Natalie & Melissa have REALLY extensive & thorough knowledge of dogs/dog food, etc. I am SOOOO happy to have these awesome dog lovers in my world! (And not only helping me keep my girls gorgeous but also healthy!!)

The staff is great! I don’t use the grooming, although I have used the self bath for my english bulldog and that was perfect.Regarding food, Natalie and staff have been wonderful to provide the raw food that I feed my pets. I used to drive to Gainesville every month to get it.The only dangerous part about this establishment is having to peruse through the store which boasts a fabulous array of pet things, treats, toys, harness, clothing and more.Last time I was there I purchased an insulated beverage container adorned with English Bulldogs! (See what I mean? Dangerous!)I highly recommend this place and the whole staff.

I love this place. The owners and staff are excellent to work with and they care about the pets they are working with. My only concern is it's hard to get a place to park and with multiple dogs and our health issues, that is an issue for us.

It was Peanuts first time here and I couldn’t be happier. My furbaby has a heart murmur and high anxiety and he usually gives groomers a hard time. The last place I took him to couldn’t finish the job because of this. But here, they finished and have my Peanut looking like a new man! And I could tell he wasn’t so anxious after picking him up! Thank you!

This was my first time but it won't be my last! I am super happy with the way Bandit and Smokey look! They were very well taken care of and they look amazing. I believe Mindy and Heidi were their groomers and they were super nice! Ann Marie makes the check in/out process pleasant and easy. I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely love them!! My fur baby is a senior and only has 3 legs and weighs3 1/2 pounds. So she is very fragile. But she also is a pain in the butt to basically do anything with!! However they treat her wonderful and she always comes out looking her best!! I will never go anywhere else!!! Highly recommend them!!

Clean , never have to wait long . 10.00 to trim dogs toe nails . Shop dog stuff from food to toys to a hat or serving bowl.Kind people there .

Paws & Effect has been grooming my dogs or my mother's dog over the last 20 years. They do an excellent job and are very quick with the tiny dogs. Keisha has been grooming my mother's small dog and has done a very good job. Natalie and Melissa are very friendly and can help you with your dog food needs or any other supplies that you may need in their store. They have a good variety of pet related items in their store. Stop by and take a look!

So happy to have found this place. My dog is a bit anxious and sensitive but as long as you are gentle with her she’s sweet! She is never really excited for a groom but I know she is comfortable coming here and the groomers take the time with her, which I so appreciate. The pricing is affordable and usually done in 2-3 hours. If you’re looking for a groomer in Mount Dora/Tavares/Eustis area, highly recommend!!

I had a wonderful experience. I took both of my dogs for complete wash and groom and they look, feel and smell fabulous. They have very different coats. They were happy when I picked them up, not straining to get out the door, so I know they were treated well. I have also used the DIY bath area in the past and that is also a convenient and affordable option in between grooms. Definitely recommend.

I rarely write a one star review. I have 2 beautiful labradoodles. I have used the same groomer for years but moved and decided to try Paws and Effect. I cried when I saw my dogs. They look absolutely horrible. I asked for them to be cut short…. Instead they were shaved and with big gaps and gouges with random long splotches, one eye has long eyelashes while the other eye the eyelashes were cut off. I’m embarrassed for my dogs. I’m speechless…. I am still in shock. It was also the most I’ve ever paid in my life for grooming and it is beyond horrible results. Won’t be back.

We've been to 4 different groomers in the past. These guys are the best. Julie, the dental hygienist is pretty awesome, teeth cleaning without putting them under anitheisa & way cheaper than the vet. Dogs will start losing their teeth without regular dental care.

Natalie and Melissa are awesome ladies! Very happy to have met them. Love all their cute little things in the shop. A must see, if you're a pet parents, when visiting downtown Eustis. And if your pup needs grooming while you're there they do an awesome job.

They are always so fast and kind and polite. My dog hates her nails done at home and they claim she gives them no problems. I never hear her back there. Love it there and have been going there for 4 years now.

I like the location in downtown Eustis. It's a block from two different parking Lots. Their prices are very reasonable especially compared to the larger pet grooming chains. It usually takes about 2 hours to get the dog groomed. And it's nice to be able to do a little shopping or dining in downtown Eustis while you're waiting for your phone call that your baby is done. The groomers are always smiling and do a fantastic job.

Brought my Poms there for the first time. Had to have them shaved because their coats were a mess. Everyone there was real nice and friendly, the groomers came out to talk to me to ask what I wanted done. I picked them up a few hours later and they were beautiful!! Exceeded what I had asked for and the price was excellent. Thank you ladies for taking care of my babies and making them look so pretty!

I took my beloved dogie Rocky, to get his nails trimmed and the sweet girl, did a fantastic job! I left the place, that Rocky used to go for grooming, and so happy that I found paws and effect!now on he will be going to paws and effect! The girl at the front desk, very nice! HAPPY.

My dog was here for 6 hours and they didn't know it...I really really wanted to love this place and I wasn't going to leave a review but I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else out. Last week, I brought my 2-year-old Shihtzu in for a full groom and I dropped her off for an 11am appointment at 10:45. I've been getting my dog groomed every 6 weeks for two years and due to COVID, my mobile groomer has been out of business so we went looking for a new groomer. I understand grooming takes 2 hours, sometimes 3 if it's really long. But my dog was here nearly 6 hours. I called around the 4th hour out of concern that I just never received a call to pick her up but she was still waiting to be cut. Another hour and a half passed and she still wasn't done. Finally, they called and said she was ready to be picked up. When I went to pay at the counter, they asked about my experience and I said that I was surprised it took so long. The receptionist and another employee, (I assume a groomer), said to me, in a slightly condescending tone, that grooming appointments usually take 2-3 hrs. I agreed and said I was aware of that, but you kept my dog for 6 hours. They both looked shocked and talked to each other about what happened. They came to the realization that another dog needed the help of multiple groomers and so that's what had happened. What concerned me more than the fact they put aside my dog to accommodate someone else's during my scheduled appointment time was that they didn't even realize my dog had been there that long. My dog isn't familiar with these groomers and it's no secret that non-routine events are stressful for a dog. So it was already stressful enough to try a new groomer and to disregard my dog and leave her in a crate, or however they store them, for 6 hours and forget about her, really made my dog-mom heart hurt and feel guilty that I put my dog through traumatic stress and I trusted Paws & Effect.I do want to add, the receptionist and other employee were apologetic when I mentioned she had been there that long and I did like her cut. But unfortunately, I won't be back.

Thank you, to all the staff at P&E. I called last minute and they made arrangements to accommodate MY schedule for 4 dogs!! That alone gets them 5 stars, but when I picked them up and now 2 weeks later I still have the same feeling when I look at my fur babies ,WOW, they did a great job and so fast. I keep asking myself ,why was i going to petco? Paws & Effect will be my go to groomers. Ill see you in a few weeks 😊

I have a beautiful standardPoodle that the groomers take care of and do a great job.I don't groom Lacey at home like I should which makes the groomers job that much harder. I really appreciate theirPatience with me. I can do better and will. God bless them and their business.
