Dakota, the “manager” is extremely disrespectful. Sat up front of the store and poorly spoke on customers who spend their own money on things in the store, donating to the animals. But ever since becoming manager it’s no longer about the animals it’s all for profit and seems to be going to his own pocket. I feel sorry for people who purchase from here, I would go to thrift stores like EARS or project phoenix where the money is actually going back into the community and not into the managers pocket. Like other reviews, extremely uncomfortable environment. Not like it use to be. I would steer clear.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Terrible environment and terrible management Dakota specifically!! Fraud thrift store should be a consignment store with those prices!! Get all their product for free and charge $20 for clothes that smell like cigarettes and have stains. Extremely uncomfortable shopping environment will never go back.

I love this thrift store they are always having sales and I find the majority of things reasonably priced they have a great arts and crafts section. The staff is very nice and friendly they are always willing to help if you need it . And I love the fact that I can bring my dog with me to shop.

I would give them NEGATIVE 5 STARS… if I could. Very uncomfortable, and VERY aggressive environment. AWFUL management. The woman with the worst brows and light brown hair was horrible. Very rude. Rushed everyone out of the store, yelled at everyone. Rushed an old woman out of the store AS SHE WAS TRYING TO PAY. Wouldn’t even sell her all the things she had brought to the counter.

Had a great selection of books but thought it was a little ridiculous that they had a $15 minimum on debit card purchases especially since they make their money off donations. The goodwill around the corner is much nice! Probably won’t find myself going here again!

Today Saturday May 13 2023 was at there store. very interested in a love seat. a bit over priced but would have purchased . They do not help you load and we were only 2 womencould not load ourselves. The lady at the register was not interested in helping us.

The quality of the items here are absolutely appalling. Don’t even get me started on the prices they’re asking for half the stuff. They currently have a very used cat tree for $129!

This was an absolutely great find! What a great selection of clothing, purses, jewelry, shoes, and housewares at this location. I bought a huge bag of wonderful things for just $18, including a pair of Keen sandals that I will use on the beach this weekend. The staff was all so pleasant and seemed to really like working there. And of course their mission of helping animals is near and dear to my heart. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this store and all the deals it helps me tremendously. Usually all the workers are very nice and patient but today Mario the cashier was extremely upset at my way of paying which was part card part cash which did take a while BUT every customer should be treated as the only customer. He humiliated me to the point of making me a nervous wreck. I was trying my best. He not only was rude but glared at me twice and snapped at me. I was trying to be very apologetic and nice and understanding of his aggravation but after him humiliating me to the point of everyone staring I got rude back. I did not yell at him and continued to be nice to the other sales clerk who is always sweet. I'm so embarrassed and upset. It ruined my day. He treated like I was a charity case and 12 years old:'(

I have purchased items in this store in the past, but they were small items and I had no problem with price or service. Yesterday, I spent over $1,100 on three items: a glass table and chairs, an entertainment center, and a headboard for a queen size bet. All items were overpriced. After a few minutes, we reached an understanding on price and that they would deliver those items switching out the entertainment center and table and chairs dining room set. I was wanting to donate those items. I also offered to donate a leather loveseat, but the furniture manager balked saying it would be up to the delivery guys and if it was too heavy, they wouldn't take it. I am 72 years old and 5' 6", and I moved it outside myself this morning with only the help of a hand truck. It was sitting there waiting for the two young guys to easily load it. The piece is worth $200 - $300. The delivery guys said that they wouldn't take the entertainment center or the loveseat since they weren't on the list. When I challenged this, they said that they couldn't reach the furniture manager, and they closed up their truck and drove off. So now I am stuck with two large pieces of good furniture that I was happy to donate. If they come back to take them, I will change my rating.On a positive note, I am leaving town on Friday, and they did alter their schedule to fit me in before Friday so that they could deliver the items I purchased.

I used to really look forward to going there but now they are way overpriced they had Walmart men's sleeveless t-shirt that you get at Walmart for $5 and they have it for 6 and everything that they had for vintage or Boutique was not ...and way overpriced. The point is to help people that need reasonable prices that helps our pets also. They actually had one of the big conch shells with a hole in it for $19.99.

I think the place is great. I'm sort of shocked at some of these reviews. It seems to me that people have forgotten what the purpose of this thrift store is for. It's to help animals so if items aren't as cheap as you think they should be, please remember the money you spend is donated for much needed and wonderful cause. And that alone is worth it for me to spend my money there first as well as donate.

This store always has something new to catch my attention. Today it was video discs. My son ,the lover of history was very excited. Whenever we go shopping we try this store first. The volunteer staff are friendly and helpful and all of the money goes to support our favorite cause..The Suncoast Humane Society.

Since the one near me closed. I was in the area and decided to go look around. Found a food Scoop for the cat food. Was not sure if they had a limit on debit cards.The one that was near me had a five dollar limit. The item I got was only 85 cents. So I picked a mask up. The cashier said that they had no discount. It clearly said in the basket not discount. So I said I can read. I handed my card to her to pay. She charged it and threw the card at me. I was nice enough not to throw the card at her and say hand it to me like I handed it to you. Next time I go I won't be so nice. Maybe some of these people need a review in customer service. I did make the other lady behind the counter laugh. But the cashier that served me clearly has an attitude problem, and should probably be working behind the scenes.

There is a reason this store was voted best thrift store in Englewood, it is lovely. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and helpful, they always have one sale or another going on and there is something new every day to look at. It is clean, well organized and I love going in there. One of my favorite thrift stores.

The lady that I term dearly as Mom loves the place we donated a double leaf dining room table with chairs and Mom picked up if you will outfits that she donates to the homeless people around the area of Inglewood so yeah that's a pretty good place

Staff was extremely rude to my mother when she dropped a wine glass, she has severe neuropathy in her hands so her grip isn’t the best. After she dropped the glass the woman working the counter made a snotty comment implying that she must be an alcoholic. No matter the situation that is no way to treat somebody, you never know what somebody is going through, I hope someone treats that employee just as nice as she treated my mother when she’s faced with a similar situation.

Mask policy posted on the door and I've seen them ask people to leave because of it. Today an employee was at the counter talking to the cashier when I arrived, and he walked around the store, still talking to the cashier, whose mask was pulled all the way down. When I asked if they still had a mask policy he said his was just behind the counter (which he had not been behind in the ten minutes I was shopping). I said but you've been standing there talking without it all this time and his response was 'i wasn't around anybody'. First off, I don't think that's the policy. Second it was a blatent lie because everyone going in or out of the store in that time period was forced to walk right past him. Nice store but staff are hypocrites!!!

This is One of three Thrift Stores run by Volunteers of Suncoast Humane Society which uses all the funds from Thrift Shops goes to help the Fabulous No Kill Shelter which has been open since the 1970's. Great stuff, low low prices, great new location and larger store. All items have been donated by wonderful Animal Lovers and others who care for others. Do Not miss any of these three stores or offer to Volunteer at a store or at the Shelter also in Englewood.

Awesome sale today!!! Everything in the clothing, handbag, or shoe category was 1$ truly only a $1 outside of boutique items. Can't beat it!! Hopefully for anyone that may have missed it today it will be still on TM or for the weekend!!!

It has a pretty large space, with reasonably-priced clothing. The furniture seems a bit overpriced for a thrift store, though. When I have gone, they've also had a larger craft supply section than most thrift stores.

THIS STORE IS NOT AS GOOD AS SOME OTHER HUMANE SOCIETY THRIFT STORES, THEY ALMOST NEVER CHANGE THEIR SALES ALWAYS 25% OF ANYTHING OVER 2.00 WHAT HAPPENED TO SALES ON SPECIFIC ITEMS ??? LIKE PAINTINGS OR FURNITURE OR LAMPS AND HOW ABOUT 50% OFF SOMETIME....YOU GET THE ITEMS FREE OF CHARGEWE SHOP IN VENICE MORE SINCE SALES ARE MUCH BETTER
