Not impressed with the store clerk, made me feel like a thief. I’ve been buying Sparkling Ice in a 12 pack and I know that they ring each bottle individually. He felt the need to run to check out and make sure I didn’t say differently. I’m not at all Impressed and don’t know if I’ll be back to that store.

Cashier Katie is the worst. Sits on a chair- talking to every one like it’s her coffee break as they check out and is SO slow- brags outloud about it to the people in line how she doesn’t care? Seriously?I won’t be back after how I watched her treat the people in line.

The store manager is so rude to customers. IT IS NOT OUR FAULT THAT THERE ARE 2 SELF CHECK OUT REGISTERS THAT DON'T WORK MOST OF THE TIME. Quit taking it out on your customers. She had threatened at one point to close the store and kick everyone out.

Worst experience ever. The 2 ladies today at 130 were so rude. Yelled at my brother and then had the nerve to ask my why I brought something I didn’t buy to the register. I decided in line I didn’t need or couldn’t afford it. Not to be treated like a lowlife. Fire both of them. They are ruining your store.

It was okay until my wife and I got at the register we wanted to go half and half on my paying the bill this is the second time the young lady in the store stating that she could not split the bill you had to do all in one payment I find that very inconvenientDid not try to compromise with us at all

I popped into this Dollar General store today looking for a product for cleaning the metal plate on our iron. Although I was not able to find it two friendly gentlemen tried to look for it. Thanks anyway fellows. This is a large neat Dollar Store! Thanks so much Dollar General. We recommend you to all shoppers.

Nothing new to rate here. There stores are always filthy. And they don't hire enough employees to clean the place, restock, and check people out at the registers.Management peruse your stores and grab a broom, dustpan, and some purple power and clean your stores. Your management skills aren't even minimal at best.

The selection of products was pretty good, and, for the most part, the prices were really reasonable. I was happy with what I found. However, when I walked up to the register to check out, the cashier saw my 10 items and made a comment along the lines of "You're going to be one of my trouble-makers." As she rang up my items she was sighed frequently and groaned to her co-worker about how much time she had left in her shift. The two of them also proceeded to complain about the customer right before me for being difficult and using coupons.

Very poor service and management, The lady Manager is very rude and disrespectful. I Literally was told to stop getting stuff and changing my my mind Because She said that she was tired of putting stuff back. This is the worst management service I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve spent a lot of hard earned money with this Establishment only to be disrespected.

Meh... it's a Dollar General. The stores aren't kept up to well and it's ok to loiter outside. Prices are decent for quick pickups. My question is, Why do you exist and what is your purpose? Some of the prices are similar, but you can see where they cut corners. Even 5 and dime stores had a purpose and stayed respectable years ago. Take pride in your store please. It's not just about affordability. Somebody will understand this post, I'm sure.

In the past year the staff's attitudes have improved greatly. Always helpful and knowledgeable. I shop at several of the DGs in the area and the Ellenton store is where I usually end up shopping. I would like to suggest an additional part timer during your busy daytime hours.

I'm 65 years old and look my age. The manager of this store carded me and because I had forgot my wallet she refused to sell me my case of beer. I have been shopping at the store for 3 years now and it is the first time I have ever been asked for an ID. I understand it when you look close to 40, but 65 years old? Give me a break!

I tell myself to avoid this place, 3+ yrs and rarely a decent experience. Then I try again. Thanks for selling OUT DATED BOXED FOOD! My last visit was just before the possible hurricane 08/19, just wanted few things and didn't feel up to going to Publix. Must say, never again and stick to it. No wonder they're always looking for help.

Customer service is good but you gotta watch the digital coupons. Check your receipts. On several occaisions, the requirements were met for the coupons and logged under my phone #. Looled at my receipt and at least 1/2 dozen times , 2 or more coupons were taken off. Itd be different if ,50 , but these were the $2/3 coupons.Today, the manager on duty had to come over to adjust my purchases bc it showed the correct products were purchased.Otherwise, this is a good store to shop for $1 items because the lines are endless and ridiculous at Dollar Tree.The cashiers at this Dollar General are always friendly.

They have quite a bit of stuff. The prices arent bad, but management and employees change to much at this location. Makes me think there is a behind the scenes problem at this location. Never enough people working the cash register either. Good location without having to go to Walmart or Kmart though.

Good place to buy canned vegetables and soups. There's a good variety of items in the food items. Has refrigerator section and freezer section. Then back half of store is household and miscellaneous section.

I went to this particular Dollar General back in June. Tim the assistant manager was so nice and so patient with us! You see I say us because I was with a couple of friends and we were doing some penny shopping. YES we each had about 3-4 carts FULL. But I tell you, if it was me behind the register I would've quit! Hahahaa! Tim, ughh God Bless Tim! It was his genuine character to be so patient, nice, and humble! Every Dollar General should take after Tim, because he is an Angel in disguise. Thank you Tim; give him a raise!

It's a Dollar general that is bigger than most others. However, prices aren't that great but they're better than your usual Publix. There's not that much competition at that end of Palmetto besides the 7-Eleven up the street.

They are very close to where I live, I can ride my bike.... they are always helpful...they have hours that makes it convenient to shop there & they are not over priced and even tho they have merchandise in the isles a lot, they are clean.

Must be short of help, whole store in disarray. Store needs a do over! Stocking problems, aisles cluttered.
