A great shelter and fantastic volunteers. Sadly, they are usually at capacity for cats and dogs, and always need donated food and toys. I adopted two cats from here 7 years ago and just adopted another. They bring so much joy to my life.

They hung up in my face while trying to just get information on helping a stray cat. After reading all the great reviews, I was very surprised but more so disappointed, especially as a retired veteran.

This place is great. They really care and love all the animals. They keep the all animals nice and clean. They have lovely peaceful people helping those poor innocent animals. God bless the people there and their animals. Is a great place to help for free. There are always needing volunteers.

This is the cleanest shelter I have ever seen. The volunteers really go above and beyond here. Andrea is an amazing coordinator. The cats and dogs are so precious here. Great place to adopt from.

Had a pretty bad experience. Submitted an application for a dog adoption and received zero update for multiple weeks. Tried to call numerous times to no answer. Eventually, I went in during my lunch break to find that my application had been misplaced, and the dog was adopted out to someone else who applied after me. I am very disappointed, and I will be going through other shelters moving forward.

They are very helpful and truly heart felt on placing their animals. We had a small hickup with adoption and Ms. Valerie went over and above to help and make our family complete with another adoption. We truly are appreciative of all they do to support our military families and their pets. Thank you!! (They are non-profit, donate if you can!)

Do not get a pet from this rescue. Most rescues charge $10-40 adoption fee, and FREE for military. This one is $100+ and on a military base. My experience was very poor. First they agreed to my adoption. Then they said no. I cannot recommend. Unprofessional.

The staff at Pet Welfare obviously care about animals, the way they interact with them and you while showing you around was very pleasant.
