The only motel around the Choctawhatchee river without going into PCB. Raj and his family are great and very friendly and attentive. Rooms are nice. Beds very firm. Grounds clean. Dollar General across the street. Gas station with Subway next door . Menu in the room for a yummy sounding country style food truck up the road. We didn't get the chance to try it but will when we get back. Had a nonsmoker room downstairs in the front. Traffic wasn't bad on the highway going by outside. We kept the TV on at night and didn't really even notice it. Great price and they do allow pets for an extra fee. We'll stay here every time we go!

I recently stayed at the Ebro Motel, and while it was an acceptable value for the price, there were some aspects of my stay that left me feeling underwhelmed. I would give this motel a 3-star rating based on my experience.On the positive side, I found the staff at the Ebro Motel to be friendly and accommodating. They were helpful when I checked in and checked out, and they were always available to answer any questions that I had. It was clear that they were doing their best to provide a good experience for their guests, considering the lack of better options in the area.However, there were some issues with the quality of the room itself that left me feeling less than impressed. For example, the shower head was outdated and in need of replacement. Additionally, there were a few other areas of the room that felt like they could use some attention to detail, both in terms of cleanliness and the quality of workmanship.Overall, I think that the Ebro Motel is an acceptable choice for a budget stay in the area, but there are certainly areas where they could improve. If you're looking for a place to stay that's affordable and has friendly staff, this motel might be worth considering. However, if you're looking for a higher-end experience or expect a high level of attention to detail in your accommodations, you may want to look elsewhere.

My family was in the area for a wedding and did not want to pay the outrageous rates to stay at a motel near the beach where the wedding was. We stayed at the Ebro Motel and are very happy with our choice. The rates are very reasonable and the room was extremely clean. Beds were clean, bathroom was clean and over all it was a great choice to stay here. The owners are extremely friendly and take care of any issues that may arise. Reminds me of the mom and pop motels that used to be on the beach when I grew up before the high rise and high price motels/hotels took over. If you're looking for a clean, reasonable rate hotel near the beach you will not be disappointed with the Ebro Motel.

My father stayed here. 59 year old man. The furniture was ages old but still functional. The temperature was easy to regulate which is something I always leave details on in my reviews. There is a no pet policy. This is why I only gave 4 stars. At least offer to allow pets with a $200+ deposit, ive seen children do more damage than dogs. It's on a busy intersection though. I wouldn't recommend if you are a light sleeper or have toddler+ age children.Food & drinks: Within walking distance to a gas station and subway.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and super clean this motel is! It smelled clean, looked clean, the parking lot was clean and it felt safe. The owner is friendly and helpful. If you have a problem the owner will handle it very quickly. Would recommend and we'll be back.Nearby activities: It's only about 20 minutes from Panama Beach. Lots to do there!Safety: I felt very safe. Even going to the car at night, alone.

Room looked outdated but was clean and orderly. Rate was great. I was very pleased for the price paid. Room had a table with large chair, micro fridge, and microwave. Bedding appears to be clean. Bathroom was spotless. Room has a slight odor of bleach which was fine. At least I knew serious cleaning had been done. Will stay here again.

My son was on his way home from senior trip and too tired to drive. He just so happen to pull over here and call me. I was able to call the owner and pay for the room over the phone and send them all my information. My son was able to check in and get some much needed sleep before getting behind the wheel again. I am so grateful for the owner !

For the price, this exceeds expectations. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the AC unit was extremely loud sporadically throughout the night, the pillows are flat without any cushion, and the bed springs creak every time you move... the traffic outside wasn’t awful, but I sleep with the TV on so stuff like that doesn’t bother me anyways. The staff is kind and considerate... they definitely aim to please!

VALUEMy wife and I just needed to stay a night. The price was fair, the room & the restroom were clean, there was no sand on the floor, the building was quiet, the AC worked well, and the place itself is a 30 minute drive from PCB. The owner was nice and the booking process was quick and easy.

Quiet, clean and just minutes to the beach! Stayed here multiple times over the years for Thunder Beach bike rally or weekend fishing trips. Always clean and bike friendly. Rooms are very nice, way more than you would expect from the outside. Not a pool and playground place for kids. Just a great place to get some rest! Good for business travelers or fishing trips!

We stayed here for three nights with kids. The rooms were clean. No bugs at all. Someone came by our room every morning for housekeeping. The staff was very friendly. It was a great price and we loved the convenience to Panama City Beach. It only took us about 20 minutes to get there from the hotel. We also enjoyed the free WIFI. We will be staying here for our future trips to the beach.,

I was at Ebro and was tired to drive home so I stayed at this hotel because it was only 300 yards from the Race Track. I was actually very surprised. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable.The air conditioner worked very well and the bathroom was up to date. From the outside, it looked questionable. The inside is a different sorry, very clean and comfy.

The staff is very friendly. The room I am in is very clean. There is WiFi and Dish Network. There is a camera and bright lights on the parking lot. I had my doubts after reading a few of the reviews. It now seems to me like there are a few ignorant people giving bad reviews for unjustified reasons. Bad reviews from people who don't understand that satellite TV looses signal during bad weather, calling people "foreigners" or saying someone is rude because their accent is different from theirs should be ignored. People who left poor reviews here should be ashamed of themselves.

We had a very outdated room. We paid $495 after taxes to stay 22 miles from panama for just 3 nights! because everything else was booked. Very ran down for as much money we spent. The owner was very sweet. But I definitely believe the rooms need updated or the price shouldn't be so high

Great little motel! I travel for work and need a good nights sleep. It's quiet and the staff is awesome. The women in the office are sweethearts and the rooms are clean. Anything I've needed and asked for, they have more than accommodated. It's a great place!

Simple yet great. All we wanted was a place to sleep. And that's what we got. The room was really clean and the staff was nice. Ice machine in the back. Only thing I didn't like was that they don't have WiFi. But they do have a computer in the office if needed. Overall, a great 3 night stay for us.

Great place to stay! We stayed here while searching for a decent place to rent in Panama City, and it was nice. Michael and Diane are super friendly, and really try to make sure that the customer feels welcome and comfortable. They went above and beyond to make our stay a great one! We would definitely come back if we ever needed to!!!

Definitely a 5 star. My truck was broken into at the beach that day and my wallet was stolen. While I was driving home I dozed behind the wheel. Immediately I stopped it it happen to be here. (3am) I told the man I have no id, cash, card, or anything. Told him all I had was a picture of my driviers license and Google pay. The man went OVER AND BEYOND to help me. 20 min. Later he handed my a room key. And was completely understanding. No where else would have done this. Thank you Ebro Motel!!

Hospitable owners and a pleasant budget-friendly stay. Very clean room with a comfortable bed. Subway at the gas station next door and affordable meals at the Greyhound Park in walking distance behind the motel.
