This CVS/Pharmacy is conveniently located right off Hwy 17. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Stephanie, at the front checkout was especially nice and helped me change my contact information in the system.

This CVS pharmacy is the worst I have every dealt with. There staff including pharmacist are rude and has no empathy. Trying to get heart medicine filled, they stated they have to order and it can take 48 hours, I think really!! You are a pharmacy you don't get orders daily!! Anyway Publix was able to help and heart medicine will be filled next day. Transferring all my scripts to Publix. Does the staff realize that if you have no customers you have no job. Duh!@@ get it together. I wish the corporate office reads these. I know you are busy but rudness will get you no where.

I would give them ZERO stars but 1 was the minimum. They are the worst pharmacy I have dealt with in my life. They never answer the phone, it goes to voicemail. They do not fill your called in prescription till you tell then when you want it. Since they do not answer the phone you must drive there to ask in person to fill immediately. The staff is extremely rude. They do not care about there customers. I switched all of my prescriptions to Publix even though it extends my drive another 10-15 minutes to get my prescriptions. I had dental surgery and they called me in sedative to knock me out for surgery. I went the night before and confirmed my RX was received. One of the employees told me it would be at least an hour to fill (ONE PILL) I tell her please make sure it is filled tonight. The next morning before my surgery and they tell me it is on back order. Why did they not tell me that the night before? They claimed I should have received a text but I did not. Why can’t they call my dentist and see if they recommend something else? My dentist called it in to Publix, because of this I barely received my meds in time. If you know what’s best take the extra drive to go somewhere else or I’ll be reading your poor review soon.

I have never met such a rude pharmacist in my life! I had a specialty order that was delivered there by UPS on Mar. 27th for pick up. She looked for it and said it wasn't there. So I tracked it and it was delivered and signed for. She the said it still wasn't there and rudely said if its not here i cant find it! I called the Specialty pharmacy they also confirmed it was delivered. I finally got my prescription and she said UPS just delivered it. I call B.S. I'm sure it was there all along. Time to change pharmacies.

Waiting on a prescription for 3 weeks, with zero notification of insurance not covering these meds. Im notified to pick them up where they proceed to let me know (after almost 3 weeks that this isnt covered). No prob, i call physican for an alternative script, also not covered (which I discover upon dling app) also no courtesy call to let me no there is still no coverage. I typically do not complain bc I understand that errors happen and insurance can be tricky but I highly recommend you going to a different pharmacy unless you're willing to put up with lack of professionalism. BTW publix was able to fill this in 30min.

horrendous service, I understand that they're a bit under staffed down there, and things can get stressful. but all I did was try to ask some questions about how to get my prescription (which i haven't had for a week and was told by my doctor that it was available and sent down there THREE TIMES!) I tried so hard to be as nice as possible, I've never raised my voice or have gotten worked up with a service worker in my life mind you. But my questions were only met with aggravation, and at one point laughter for just wanting to understand why, and how, I should get my medication, and for wanting some help figuring out how the process work (which must be confusing since they seem to have hard time with it too, seeing as I run into issues every time I try to get my prescriptions from this CVS.) I really don't understand why I had to be treated the way I was considering they weren't even busy at the time, and eventually they just started ignoring me until I left. This was just the final straw for me seeing as this pharmacy has had issues for well over a year by now, including long hold times and poor service. Shout out the guy with the Lego tattoo though, he's always on top of things and has been nothing but help whenever he's on shift there, much love to him.

Horrible customer service over the phone and rude in person. I never have a problem at any other cvs but for some reason this one is always horrible and unfortunately it's the closest one to my home. I was told at 1 pm that my prescription would be done at 4 pm. I called several times and after being on hold forever I was hung up on every time someone answered. Before I could even say a word. So I went in person at 515 p.m., and it still wasn't ready. They claimed there was an insurance problem even though we have no issues with our insurance. I offered to pay cash since they had it done already, and they said it would still be a 30-minute wait, even though they had the medications in their hands. I waited in store, finally got the medicine, and I drove 35 minutes back home only to find that they didn't mix my son's antibiotics. I literally have a bottle of powder, and my options are to attempt to mix it myself or drive 35 minutes back bc of their mistake. This CVS needs an entire new staff and new pharmacist. I've never had a bad experience at any other CVS in my entire life. Very disappointed and I paid full price for my son's medicine.

Went to pick up a prescription that had been called in approximately 45 minutes prior to going to CVS East Palatka. Once we got there - the young lady behind the counter asked my husbands name and date of birth. They had the prescription in the system - but proceeded to tell me that it was 8:00 pm and they were literally closing (her words) that we would have to wait until 10:00 tomorrow to pick-up (this was with a smile on her face). No matter what we said - she wouldn’t fill the prescription. My husband had just broke his foot and needed something for pain. She didn’t care! I was in shock! They have absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I wouldn’t have give it one star - if I could have left this review. The experience was unbelievable!

I frequented this location of CVS because it was on my way home, even though the service, particularly the service from the pharmacy, was always a bit lacking… but my last visit to this particular CVS demonstrated a new low in professionalism, and likely violated multiple HIPAA regulations.Beginning when the clerk announced the category of the medication I was picking-up to everyone within earshot of where I was standing. Then some woman behind the counter addressed me like I was a criminal when I simply asked why was it going to take an additional 30 minutes to fill, when the prescription was called-in hours earlier.I must have finally cracked her facade when I had the audacity to ask if the 30 minutes could be condensed to 20 minutes, since by then I had resigned to wait, rather than drive home, and back, to which the same rude woman responded, in a unnecessarily stern tone that “30 minutes was how long it took to fill controlled-substance prescriptions” and then she dramatically spun around on her heel to walk away, leaving me a bit blindsided, but now I was getting angry. What prompted this attitude I asked myself?I was then compelled to ask her if that was the way she treated ALL of her customers? It was at this point that the pharmacist decided to pile-on, and blurted-out that I could have my prescription filled somewhere else because he wasn’t going to fill it, and that I could take my business elsewhere. At this point it’s worth reiterating that all of this drama was simply because I asked if they could shave a bit of my wait time off. Those involved in the unfolding drama just chose to be obstinate and rude, and I wasn’t having any of it… nor should I be required to suffer abuse from an entity where I was doing business. Needless to say, it went downhill from there, as my reaction was also less than ideal, but remember, I only asked a question.I didn’t know I didn’t have the right at CVS to ask questions…Seriously. I will never understand how anyone in business can think that they have the right to treat their customers with such distain. I wasn’t rude. I asked a question.I also feel compelled to say, although I shouldn’t have to say this:IT’S. NOT. OK. TO. ABUSE. CUSTOMERS. There was no reason for this to have escalated, except someone was having a bad day, and decided to take it out on an unsuspecting customer. But there’s more.THIS is the REAL reason for my review. The unprofessional behavior of the pharmacist caused an innocent person, who had NOTHING to do with the earlier encounter between myself and the pharmaceutical staff, and as a result, caused undue stress and pain for the patient, my husband. My husband actually visited this CVS the next day, in person, to see if he could pick-up his prescription, which seemed reasonable to him since he had no issue with the staff, nor presumably they with him, and since the medication was prescribed to him, and he needed it sooner than later, he naturally didn’t want to wait. He was in pain. He also knew (AS DID THE PHARMACIST) that because it was now the weekend, any changes would require that the patient would have to wait until Monday to remedy the situation with another pharmacy. This is an an example of an incredibly unprofessional pharmacist, hired by CVS, who chose to exercise extreme prejudice by refusing to fill this prescription for the patient, (not me) knowing his inaction would force the patient to have to wait through the weekend for his medication. That kind of passive-aggressive behavior from a pharmacist is cruel and sadistic…To think that the pharmaceutical industry is supposed to be an extension of the healthcare industry, and as a business serving the public, this suggests to me that CVS and its employees have no right to treat their customers prejudicially… EVER!I do suspect someone was having a bad day, (we all do…) but it isn’t ok to take one’s personal issues out on customers. PERIOD.Shame on the pharmacist and his poorly trained staff, and shame on CVS for lowering its standards.I won’t return.

I went to this CVS today to fill a prescription. Since there was a line in the drive thru I went inside. I handed my prescription to a female employee at the pharmacy drop off. She told me they didn’t have any of the pills in stock and may have to order them. She asked if I normally go there, which I responded, “no, I usually use CVS Palatka “. She continued to question me why I came there, which I believed was inappropriate. It didn’t matter why I was using the pharmacy, they just needed to fill my Rx. The employee had an attitude and seemed like I was a bother, even though I was the only person in the pharmacy area. I told her to give me back my prescription and I would go elsewhere. I was only using the pharmacy out of convenience, being it’s 2 minutes from my office; and I could pick it up when I got off work. I will NEVER use this CVS again.

This is horrible! Dr called in RX on 8/25/23 called cvs, they said we'll text you (says the lady on the speaker phone).. 8/30 i download the app today. Says RX on hold. Called CVS (no reason-lady said were 2-3 days out filling prescriptions, you'll have to get it tomorrow. Called the next morning. Another lady checked into it. No reason it should've been put on hold. (No insurance reason, nothing,) Said we will text you when it's ready. I laughed. Lady said no seriously, we will text you. I will call the manager ARRON tomorrow as he is off today. This is absolutely 💯 NOT ACCEPTABLE! Sickning, I've been waiting on my Meds for CVS to Hold them for no other reason then they Didn't WANT to fulfill my prescription?? Not wanting to fill it? then played games with me?? Over putnam county B.S. if I were black I'd get better service

This place is worse than useless. I use it only because it is the only pharmacy within 5 miles of my home. Everything else is 14 miles away across town. The next closest is 25 miles. The prescriptions are NEVER filled when they are supposed to be. I am waiting now for 7 days AFTER my pain prescription was called in by my doctor. Also, the drive through, which is supposed to be for the customers' convenience, is NEVER open. They used to be a good store, but after the Plague, nobody, especially Corporate cares...

The pharmacist at this location is super nice and very helpful. The workers in the pharmacy especially the drive thru workers are constantly rude. Never an apology for prescriptions not being ready (and they never are). No thanks yous or you're welcomes. No general manners at all. I wish I could say that I would never use this pharmacy again but it is closest to my house. I do have to say I dred coming here. I am not sure why after so many negative reviews nothing has been done to fix this issue?

Edit: Corporate is attempting to fix this store's utter failure. Jen/Jenny at this location is extremely rude to customers, especially customers that her store failed to charge correctly and she then did not handle the issue how she was instructed to. We will see if corporate follows through on refunding me appropriately in the next week or I'll be filing a fraud charge with my bank and with the BBB. Jen/Jenny needs customer service training stat._______________________________________________________________________Literally the worst location possible. They never answer the phone at the pharmacy. It's always a 45 minute wait while they chat and joke in the back. They are rude as can be.. They forgot to charge my insurance for my rx last week and charged me full price. I was sick and didn't notice until I got home so I had to go back in today to get my refund. I rearranged my entire day to be there when they opened at 8. No one showed up to work. I waited 20 minutes for them to open and was finally informed by other staff that they wouldn't be opening until they could find a pharmacist 🤦♀️

There are a few people in pharmacy that are nice, but more who are rude than nice. The bad outweighs the good by far. I have sat on hold every time I call for 10 plus minutes. Called yesterday to make sure my script would be ready first thing this morning and still had to call again to make sure it was taken care of and was told it would be an hour until it was ready. Maybe cvs should focus on hiring employees who do their job and know how to talk to customers.

Wish you could have negative ratings worst pharmacy I've been to. They just don't know what their doing. Very unorganized crew. Very rude its almost as if it's a bother to fill your perception. And don't go before lunch time they will make sure that you know that it won't be ready until after lunch. Im sorry I even went there.

I had to come to this store because my medicine was sent to the wrong location. I was walked past by a couple associates before I was even acknowledged, then it seemed to be inconvenient for her to wait on me. I went to use their restroom before I left to find it a mess, paper all over the floor and 3 empty rolls of toilet paper. When I went to tell an associate she had an attitude and said if it's that bad they are gonna have to come clean it, whomever they are? As I walk off I hear say to the employee she was chatting with when I came up, I don't see how it gets so bad, the other employee says she's probably just wanting to complaining cuz she has nothing else better to do.

As I received a vpice mail that my prescriptins was ready to be picked up I drove 30 miles to east Palatka to pick up. I had requested Palatka which is closer but apparently the hospital choose this Eas location. In te drivethrough I was not very friendly teratedat all. There was one of the 2 prescriptions called in, as of the pharmasist lady. When I asked for the second, inportant pre surgry medicins, pain killers she just brushed me off and said, go to the Palatka store.I over to the other store where I was not treatedvery friendly either, just slightly better than the east store. They now informed me, no youhave t go back to East Palatka.I went on the phone and waited for 1.5 hrs on hold and was then told, yes indeed the prescription was there. but could not be transferred.I cant help to wonder, I got the feeling... the lady in drive through with her bad attitude, was it of racial nature? I am not colorored or of minority ethnics.Reading the reviews for CVS in East Palatka, ots of 1 star reviews manye bthe uper managemnt should wake up, terminate bad attitides or close your store all together.I will surely never visit again and instead call and cancel, transfer my prescriptions.Stefan Larsson

I called this store to check on a prescription has was ready that I did not recognize. I was on hold for 47 minutes and finally hung up. I called back a couple of days later and was on hold for 21 minutes before someone finally answered. Then they had an attitude and put me on hold twice more. Every since the pharmacist John left this place is terrible. They need people that care. The store staff is really nice but the pharmacy needs a house cleaning.

One of the most disorganized, poorly staffed pharmacies I’ve ever visited. Consistently unable to find my prescriptions, despite saying they’ve been filled. I’ve been sent to other locations only to be told by the pharmacists and techs there that my medications had been in East Palatka the whole time - on more than one occasion! The technicians at this location are rude and apathetic about their job, and have no place in customer service, nonetheless healthcare. After increasingly bad experiences here, I will be finding another pharmacy. It’s worth driving farther away to avoid having to interact with these people.

Staff was extremely rude. I usually use a different CVS but they were out of my medication. She kept asking why I was in her store and acting like she was gonna hand me back my prescription until I told her my regular pharmacy had called and talked to them. Then she was willing to fill it. But the wait would still be 3 hours. I had to drive out of my way to get there and she knew it. 3 hrs? Sounds like your being petty to me. Looked like it too. The smirk on her face. OMG. Don’t recommend. Wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. There’s a reason we are at a pharmacy. Dealing with people like her, makes it 1000% worse. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Horrible Pharmacy. I brought my scripts in, they said about a 30 to 60 min wait time. Not a big deal. After an hour and 20 min I went up and asked if they would be ready soon only to find out that they never put them in the system or filled them. These are prescriptions that I can't miss a dose. The lady that took my scripts was very short in her attitude . I did complain to the manager, not the pharmacy manager because he was already with a customer who was complaining about the Pharmacy. The manager I spoke with was very nice and understanding. But I will never go back to this particular store again. All I was trying to do was save myself drive time and ended up wasting so much more....

The store and the store manager are great but the pharmacy is awful. The young man is nice but the lady is rude, hard to understand. She was explicitly told no generic, name brand only. Guess what, picked it up and it was generic (which does not work). If you need a bandaid or a toothbrush, shop here. If you need a good pharmacy, go elsewhere.

It's so nice to have a drugstore on this side of the river. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I can't find anything. The pharmacy has a good return time of prescriptions, and they are very informative with each medication. They will show you a suggested item on the shelf if you need help too.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy ever. Every single time I call I get placed on hold for 15 minutes then they hang it up. I never once had a pleasant visit with them and unfortunately walgreens no longer accepts our insurance and this cvs pharmacy is the only one where I live. Only the skinny short haired younger white female who works here has ever made anything right for me. She has went out of her way to put a prescription together for me after 7 hours of dealing with every other employee there. I seriously can't stand having to deal with this location.

I have only had 4-5 prescriptions filled here and 2 of them have been incorrect. One of them sent my 2 year old to the ER as the pharmacy printed triple the dosage on the prescription label. Always double check your dosage with your own doctor's office!

My daughter is here for summer break from college in Virginia she uses the CVS pharmacy in Virginia all the time and has a great experience. She got pink eye and we went to pick up the prescription the 3 ladies behind the counter were arguing with each other disagreeing as to whether the Rx was called in or not by her physician. I finally had to call her physician and ask him to recall it in and while he was still on the phone with them they were still arguing about it. And then once they determined there was an actual Rx they asked her for her Rx card which she did not have she handed them her insurance card the lady handed it back to her and rudely stated " this isn't going to work" though the pharmacy clearly admitted being able to see all her information from the Virginia CVS pharmacy they wouldn't fill her Rx for pink eye. I called the Virginia CVS pharmacy and the lady there said there is no reason why she shouldn't have been able to get that medicine filled they can see all her information in the computer system. We will now call about CVS pharmacy and have the medicine switched to that pharmacy so she can get some relief. If she didn't like the CVS pharmacy in Virginia so much I'd have her switch to a local pharmacy
