Absolutely the best experience had here with our cat Luna. Staff is kind, patient, and extremely skillful in their art of grooming. Appointments are easy to make over text. Have peace of mind knowing they handle your pet with love, gentle care, and attention to detail. Our little girl came home happy looking better than we could have ever imagined. We were looking for a new groomer, and Dunedin Happy Tails was recommended. I reached out via text per website recommendations and had an appointment within a few days. From the moment I walked into DHT, I felt extremely comfortable. Talking with Angela and seeing the surroundings I knew we found the right place. She kept us updated, and our girl looked beautiful afterward. Highly recommend. Angela and her staff were wonderful.

Your pets need Happy Tails Dunedin!!! I can’t say enough about the excellent care and service!! I’ve taken my 20lb long haired cat twice for a wash and dry, brush, nails and ears, and hygienic trim as needed; she comes back looking and feeling fabulous. Also got my parents a grooming for their Husky who has typically hated brushing. She came back looking (and smelling) like a new dog!! Her coat is smooth, shiny, and gorgeous. So very pleased with the services provided. **Highly Recommended!!**.

We visited while on vacation on a rec by family. Fantastic recommendation! Angela is a pro and handled my German Shepherd effortlessly.The shop is bright and clean, accented with plants and beautiful murals on the walls. We stopped in almost a year ago because we saw a sign on the Pinellas Trail for drop in nail trimming. Professional and prompt service from the start. Since then we have taken our two fur babies for grooming every two weeks. They stay much fresher than when I would bathe them weekly at home. I don't know what the trick is and maybe I don't want to know... my back is much happier now that I have passed the grooming baton. Angela and staff are the best.

8 years later + I LOVE this place even more! I wish I could leave another 5 star review! I have brought 4 dogs to Angela now. She is so insightful + patient with dogs + their humans. I have an anxious chow/pit mix with very long hair that tangles + knots easily. Angela makes him look so handsome + helps him live his best life as a short haired pup! We also bring our lab/pit 9 month old puppy who sparkles when she leaves! The ladies at Dunedin Happy Tails did a wonderful job! Not only did they take excellent care of my very anxious dog- they did it for a very affordable price! I will never take my pets anywhere else!

We love Dunedin Happy Tails for a very special reason. My family does not have a beautiful fur baby, but we have a beautiful autistic daughter. Once a year, when we are in town, Charlotte must visit this lovely shop to simply sit and “be” with the dogs. Ms. Angela is always so welcoming and gives Charlotte all the time she needs to soak up the sweetness. I believe there is a true power when in the company of dogs. Charlotte has limited vocabulary, but you can feel the silent communication and understanding between these gentle souls.And, as a passive observer, I can see the love all around this shop. Dunedin Happy Tails truly cares for and makes their dogs superstars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Angela and her staff treat your pet as their own. Happy Tails offers compassionate care for even the most reluctant dogs who do not appreciate the needed services. I brought my German Shepard/Wolf hybrid dog to Angela and her grooming team at Happy Tails. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. And while they groom all types of breeds, Angela specializes in German Shepard type breeds. Their coats require extra attention and care, especially de-shedding. I was beyond elated with the outcome of my dog's groom. They exceeded my expectations and more. They have a beautiful open layout that allow dogs to socialize while waiting for their turn. My dog is typically apprehensive towards grooming and is always filled with anxiety. However shortly after I was sent videos of him playing and having fun with the other dogs, anxiety free. To bring your dog anywhere but Dunedin Happy Tails would be disservice to your beloved fur baby.

Wow! Angela did a fantastic job with my goldendoodle. She is a perfectionist, and it definitely shows in the work she does. She even trimmed the hair inside and around my dogs ear canal which will keep them nice and clean. Will definitely be coming back!

We took our precious Chief in today to get a bath, his ears cleaned, and nails clippped. He came out so shiny and soft! He came out smelling like vanilla and did I mention he was super soft?! All the girls were wonderful & EVEN TOOK VIDEOS OF MY SWEET BOY while he was getting pampered. This place is nothing short of amazing and their staff clearly loves animals, they took wonderful care of our baby boy and we can't wait to have him pampered again next month! Would definitely recommend bringing your fur children here for a day of pampering👑🐱

I took both of my cats to Happy Tails in December. Lindsey went in for her annual lion cut and Layla went in for a trim and sanitary shave.When I brought Lindsey home after her lion cut, it was striking how much more comfortable she seemed, how much better she slept, and how much more affectionate she seemed to be. She used to spend much of her time under the bed; now she spends all of her time on the bed or on the sofa. And Layla has never looked better; they got a lot of little knots out of her fur, which is darn near perfect — just feathery soft.Both of my girls are house cats and it’s traumatic anytime I have to take them to a doctor’s appointment. They howl when I put them in their travel carrier. So I schedule their grooming and annual veterinarian exams on the same day. On both occasions, my vet complimented the quality of the grooming. It was almost comical when I took Layla to the vet, because the staff was passing her around and saying “doesn’t she smell great?“ The vet said, “they really did a nice job on her.”I definitely plan to use Happy Tails in the future. My only quibble — and it’s a small one — is that I had to make reservations via text, which was a little tricky because I was trying to coordinate their grooming and vet appointments on the same days. But I realize that it’s a small business, and the important thing is that my cats are treated well and that they get good service.

I took my pups to see Angela and her team for the first time yesterday and I could not be happier!!! My entire experience from beginning to end was nothing but fantastic. When my pups and I first arrived Angela came out from behind the counter to meet my little guys and to ask me exactly what I wanted done on them. I explained to her that I am extremely picky with how they are cut and was a bit uncertain as to what exactly I wanted. I told her that I did know my main goal was for them to not be hot while walking outside in this Florida heat and showed her a few example pics. Angela assured me that she and her team would make sure I got exactly what I was looking for and that is exactly what they did! Throughout the day while my pups we were at the shop Angela sent me updates via text (who does this!? no one else) and I was so appreciate of that. She even texted me the day after to ask how my boys were doing. Safe to say, I and my pups are extremely happy and satisfied and will now be customers for life!Thank you Angela and team Happy Tails! Having a labradoodle with a very difficult coat can be challenging to maintain and groom. We have been so happy to find Dunedin Happy Tails.
