Big Lots is always a fun place to run through. There’s always something useful for the house. The last time I found a perfect curtain for my bathroom. Then, there’s furniture to look at. And, the food section is fun to browse too. Stuffed grape leaves. Check. Mini marshmallows that look like kids raided the Lucky Charms. Check! Jams of all flavors? Check.

They’re supposed to open at 9 am but every day they delay opening until 10.They do not maintain their restrooms, no soap, no tp, no paper towels, no toilet seat covers. All of the holders are on the wall empty. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Just tried to purchase an outdoor patio set, and because 2 of the chairs were the last 2 the Store Manager wouldn't sell them to us. Marcus who worked there was super nice though and had already pulled all of the other pieces we needed from the back. They said we could drive to Crestview but why would we drive to Crestview when this store has them? We were literally checking out and the Manager said NO.

This big lots is really nice, it's not run down like a lot of Big Lots I have been to. Lots of great deals and if you hit it during the 20% off days you can't go wrong. Store is always well stocked with no empty shelf space. Only reason I give it a 4/5 is I have gotten some things that were 1 day / day of expiration without markdown / clearance which is not really okay, even for a discounted goods store.

Ordered something online because wasn’t available at a closer location, got an email saying it was ready to pick up where they include their store hours, drove 1 hour and 15 minute to come and found out from a sign on the door the store is closed (10 minutes before I got here).I understand if you need to change the schedule for safety purposes but at least change the store hours online and don’t send me an email saying my order is ready and that the store hours are from 9:00 to 9:00pm.

This store was great. I will drive past multiple stores and pay more for a place that has great customer service. I walked in and didn’t get half way down the isle and Joe was asking me if I needed help. I didn’t at the moment so he continued on an stooped with my wife who was a few steps behind me and asked her as well. When I did need help I asked one of the associates and she stopped what she was doing and walked me all the way to other side of the store to show where the product was that I wanted. There is no substitute for great customer service. The store right next to this one could learn something from this group of people.

The staff in Big Lots was very outstanding. The lady who worked in the furniture department treated me as if I was her own family. She went above and beyond. She was very welcoming to anyone who stepped in her department. The cashiers up front was very nice and helpful. Big Lots Destin staff really made our experience worth it.

Horrible experince. Got a trailer traveled approximently 45 miles to pick up a sofa with a chase at this location. Drove back home took it off the trailer and then discovered that under all the plactic There were two identical sofas no chase. Guys that loaded it were nice. The furniture manager was a know it all on the phone and didn't believe me when I called her on the phone from home and told her what happened. She said she knew all about it she had it pulled. One of the tags was x with a majic marker. Went back to the store 45 miles away and found out the sofa was unavailable. So got a refund and now waiting 7 days for credit. Half of day waisted cause had to return trailer before closed.

Ehhh it's ok. You can sometimes find a good deal here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They do have a good selection of candies, many of which aren't found in a lot of other stores

The stock guy had an entire grocery aisle (canned goods, pasta, etc.) taped off to restock and they weren't allowing customers to access it. Another stock person said if I tell the guy working the aisle what I want, he would go get it. I said I need more than one thing and if I can't see what they have in stock how can I tell him? He shrugged and went back to work. I complained at the checkout and they said they can't stock at night so they have to do that. I'm sorry, but publix and walmart are able to stock shelves all day without restricting customer access to sections of the store. I would have spent another $100 if they let customers through to shop while they worked. Apparently employee convenience trumps sales. I guess I'll just shop somewhere else from now on.

The store is welcoming and clean along with great products. I love the new Broyhill candles and fine furniture. The staff is helpful and friendly and I love my rewards card discounts!

It's a Big Lots... if you haven't been, it carries a wide selection of goods, ranging from good quality to decent junk. It seems something like a cross between Walmart and a Dollar store. Be prepared to consider an impulse buy of something you never even thought about getting. The prices often make it seem like a good decision.

Wanted to sell my an open boxed item at full price. Another time, they wouldn't honor their posted price on the shelf for Christmas blow ups. Expect poor service at this location. Done with Big Lots Destin. The cashier I talked to was condescending. No one should talk to another person in that tone

I don't really know what the appeal of this business is. They're prices aren't special in any respect and they have such an odd assortment of products. Some things are ridiculously overpriced, while others are just priced typically. A strange store for sure.

This particular Big Lots has more furniture than any other Big Lots in the area, and was also much cleaner and more organized than many others. It's located inside a nice shopping plaza with other stores you actually want to visit.

Change your hours and phone message to reflect reality, 8pm not 9. Nothing like driving out of your way to get there before 9 to find out you're closed at 8.

A nice store with a little bit of everything you might be looking for. Generally items are reasonably priced but know your prices going in. Ok to pick up a couple of quick items and like anywhere else, watch the sales.
