Our Sun Conure Tiki had a bad accident yesterday morning. We call every where and no one would take him in. We made a call to Deland’s Florida Wild Integrative Veterinary Center and they took him in right away without hesitation and treated him. They were very straight forward with us with his care. Unfortunately there was not much left for them to do as he was going in and out of sleep and the Vet said he would not make it by the end of the day. Although that was crippling news it was honest and instead of charging us thousands of dollars knowing Tiki wouldn’t make it they allowed us to make a choice and stop him from being in pain. We’re very heart broken after losing him because we raised him since he was 7 weeks old, but we’re so grateful for the sincere compassion and honesty Florida Wild Integrative Veterinary Center gave us. They allowed us to say goodbye. Made a beautiful picture with Tiki’s name. They put him on a blanket and said we can take as much time as we needed to grieve in the counseling room. Although this was not a good time for our family they made us feel comfortable and never hesitated to treat him. HIGHLY recommended to bring your pets here.

Just took our new Cavalier pup Finnegan for his first visit since picking him up on Sunday. The staff was outstanding , and couldn’t be happier. Dr Kelly and Jennalyn were very nice, and explained everything they did to our new family member. Dr. Barbara is an incredible integrative holistic vet. She has treated and effectively removed my cat of his allergies and urinary track issues. She is well-versed on the microbiology of a cat. Dr Barbara’s Technician Tally was extremely helpful and supportive during the office visit which helped to remove a lot of stress. I would highly recommend Dr. Barbara and Florida Wild Vet to any pet owner who wants optimal health for their feline or canine friend.

The staff at FloridaWild are gurus of their profession. Everyone here is incredibly welcoming and masters of their art, especially Dr. Kelly. I came to her in need when my rabbit was not eating and I was unable to help him get better. After a quick diagnosis, Dr. Kelly performed tooth dremel with grace and surgical precision, and now my little bubs is gobbling down his hay again! Florida Wildlife has been incredibly helpful in guiding me through my dog's neurological issues. When I sought a second opinion here, they promptly identified the need for a neurologist and facilitated the process for diagnosis and treatment. They got my cat in when we had an urgent issue (before they started offering urgent care) and they were terrific with him. He was in pain and I was scared of the outcome. They diagnosed him correctly and as quickly as they were able which helps with a cat--they have no patience. They gave me tips to help him recover faster and to avoid getting sick again. (By the way, he loves their tips! Yum!) Within a three days and following their directions, he was back to normal. They have excellent bed-side manners for patient and owner.I am so happy to hear they are offering Urgent Care 7 days a week in DeLand.

I understand this is a business and they need to make money, but this place seems like a scam.My dog went in for a simple routine teeth cleaning. She ended up supposedly needing 2 teeth pulled. $1200 later, I couldn’t find where the second tooth was removed. When I asked several technicians, nobody could show me or give me a straight answer. Left me feeling very uncomfortable considering her teeth seemed fine before getting cleaned.Gave this place another try when my dog cut her paw pad. After they unwrapped it and looked at it they told me it was OK, but to keep it wrapped whenever she goes outside. $180 later they send us on our way with no bandage. They told me there was an additional fee for a bandage. Like what?? Include it in the fee for the visit then if that’s what you’re instructing me to do?? Hard to believe a 20 min visit that cost me $180 didn’t cover a bandage.When I shared my concerns with the manager, she told me to find a new vet!!I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE

I give 100% appreciation and gratitude towards this clinic. The atmosphere and energy is amazing here. I needed a last minute appointment for my bunny, and they were able to get me in asap. They treated me with compassion and helped my baby today. While she still has a road of recovery ahead of her, I trust this clinic and Dr. Kelly to take care of my girl. The entire staff is amazing Madeline always goes the extra step when saying hello to Wex. We use FWI for my lab Wex's holistic approach to his cancer. I'd like to point out that Jalen went the extra "mile" at our last appt. There was a misunderstanding about which vet I would be seeing, and he not only rescheduled my appointment, but I was able to attend Wex's sonawave appt, to see what the process is, answered ALL of my questions and stayed with us for almost an extra hour to discuss the process. I believe we've been given extra time with Wex since starting his sonawave. He's now over a year past his surgery, and is doing great! Thank you Jalen and FWI! I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience here with Dr Kelly and the staff. We brought our rat bean concerning some lumps she had. Dr Kelly was very thorough with bean’s exam, she actually found another lump we had missed, and she was very transparent with the risks of procedures and options of care as well as prices. We will definitely be coming back to see Dr Kelly again, we are very glad to have found a vet we trust with our rats.

They almost killed my dog and didn't care. Lied and are trying to cover it up. My dog was completely healthy. They did all her bloodwork and called to tell me she was in perfect health. An injection they gave AGAINST my will and without my consent almost has killed her twice now. The assistant apologized to us for the mistake and the staff is making her cover it up now. We have spent over 11k saving her life, and they know it. My dog now has a lifelong immune disorder. Disgusting and shameful.

We recently had to make an emergency appointment for our cat, near the end of the day. Our visit ended up extending well past closing time, and you never would have known it. Dr. Schrager was amazingly compassionate and thorough. She ensured that she explained all options and risks of procedures in great detail. She even volunteered to speak on the phone to my best friend who is a veterinarian to help support me in the process. I appreciate her honesty and the clear way that she explained everything. Having a pet with a medical emergency is beyond scary and heartrending, but Dr. Schrager and the staff at Florida Wild made this process as easy as possible. I feel lucky that we have such a high quality veterinary clinic in DeLand.

Today was my first time at this vet hospital, and I was blown away! Not only did they see my sick rabbit on such short notice, everyone was so kind and I knew she was in great hands. I’m confident she will get better soon and back to her old spunky self thanks to their amazing work. The best place in Central Florida to care for your pets! There are not very many integrative veterinarians in Florida, but this place tops all of them! They have taken care of all of my dogs, and my birds with such Loving Care. Love this place so much!
