I tend to have good experiences at this location. However, tonight there was some short girl at the customer service counter who refused to cash in my lottery at 630pm. Said the customer service counter was closed and said I needed to go through a register. As I was leaving she cashed some lady lottery. That place is a joke!

Very nice grocery store. It is always clean and bright. They have a good variety of fresh produce and meats as well as a deli, seafood section, and bakery. Always well stocked with both name brands and store brands.

This Winn-Dixie store was equipped with many well-priced, brand name products. The customer service was excellent. My transaction was seamless and I felt appreciated as a customer, even though it's a grocery/retail job. The associates went above and beyond which was much appreciated.

You should probably teach your cashiers and baggers about food borne illnesses. Multiple times, I've gotten home, and they bagged raw meat with precooked or non cooked food items. Tonight, I was putting bags in my cart and noticed bloody raw meat in the same bag as my kids' lunchables. Even though I purposely put them on the opposite side of the belt to try and stop that. I politely said, "Sorry, btw don't bag raw meat with precooked food, you can kill someone." The young cashier rolled her eyes and said whatever under her breath. E-coli isn't a joke and could kill my kid. Waste of money on those, trashed. VERY happy she cares.

The power was out in the store when we went in, they were running on generators. So we couldn't buy any meats, dairy, or frozen items!!The store is welcoming, with friendly staff. The store is clean, with wide aisles.My daughter & I were pleasantly surprised with the store.

I just have to say Mrs. Bonnie is the best cake decorator ever! She made a unicorn cake and unicorn cupcakes for my daughter's birthday I uploaded pictures in the Winn Dixie photos. All I did was show her a picture and she done it exactly like I wanted it she is one special lady and sweet as she can be thank you Mrs. Bonnie I wish you had your own bakery you, have a true talent. Thank You so much! See you in October for another birthday cake!❤❤❤

I am a regular Publix shopper and have been for years. I have lived in areas where Publix was my closest grocery store and Publix usually doesn’t disappoint. However I have ended up at this Winn-Dixie two weeks in a row because the Publix in Freeport has been out of regular items I need on a weekly basis. And I must admit, I have been pleasantly surprised by several things here. 1) Variety of items they stock. 2) Quality of produce. 3) Plentiful BOGOs. 4) Items being in stock. 5) Prices. These are all things I have had regular problems with down at Publix in Freeport. However this store has been an absolute pleasant surprise to get all my shopping done at. I have been able to purchase all items on my list (and some not on my list) and paid much less than I would of at Publix. It’s a little out of my way to drive up here (from Freeport) but with the money I save and ease of shopping I might have to start making this my regular grocery store. Thank you for offering such a nice store and being well managed.

It's always 50/50 when I go here! The workers are always amazing and go above and beyond but sometimes it's super short staffed and I feel bad for them! All the registers will be closed and the managers are quick to complain but not jump on and help!

Winn Dixie pharmacy isn't affiliated with the store. The pharmacist Bob Lucas in Defuniak Springs is the rudest man I've had to deal with over my husband's meds, who is terminally ill. We actually changed his scripts to Walgreens due to the horrible treatment & excuses they've given. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS PHARMACY. No one should be treated the way they've done us this last year!!

It’s rare I leave reviews, but I went in a few days ago to order my step sons birthday cake and the original lady wrote the wrong date for pickup so I went today to pickup and was told the wrong date was put. Then the original cake we wanted, they were out of the kit. Was told by the lady to pick out a different cake free of charge. Her name was Mrs Bonnie and she had it done in under 15 minutes. She was the best and made it even better than the picture and had wonderful customer service. I usually go to Walmart for all the kids cakes, but will definitely start going to Winn Dixie from now on

The store is clean and well lit and has a friendly staff. If you need groceries this is the place. Seems a little pricey,so bring lots of cash.

This place has 6 check out lanes with only 1 open. Absolutely no reason to have 1 cashier If the other person was at lunch maybe a manager should be covering a register when you have 6 or 7 people waiting in line. If they can not operate a schedule and get people to show up for work they need to pay more or put in self checkout. This place is not operating efficiently. Come on Winn Dixie you can do better. This is frustrating when you only need 1 or 2 items and have to wait behind several people with basket full.

This is a good grocery store. A lot of the sale items with good prices. Meats and produce seems to be always fresh. Except today, the raspberries looked dried up.

Wow, the produce in this place is horrible! Rotten produce always out. Avocados, dragon fruit, cherries, etc. Whoever the produce manager is for this store shouldn’t have this job. The rest of the store is fine, except the deli. It’s trash as well. Do not buy your produce from this store. Support local!

Winn-Dixie's great for getting groceries but as far as prescriptions go it takes forever and they have locked my prescriptions before so we have switched to a different pharmacy

6 lanes and only one of them open, some of the most unhelpful people ever, the bauld man in charge of the store(saw his picture on the wall) was the rudest most unfriendly person to deal with, it feels Almost like it’s his little kingdom and we the shoppers are a bother to him and his time. WTH, Winn-Dixie?? These prices are nuts. $6.99 for half gallon of milk (organic)? $7.99 for Agave? These prices are both $2 higher than what we pay all across the nation; with exception to California and parts of Arizona. For shame! I gave 2 stars because it was a clean and large.
