This is by far the dirtiest unsanitary place I've ever been to. Do not shop here. Some of the meat had black looking blood in it. Made me sick and we left.

I love this store and the owners and the employees. I have been shopping here since I was a little girl. Nothing has changed really but that's ok. I think it's refreshing. Plus they have the best tasting meat, best value on meat in town and the bonus buys are always awesome. Plus I always hit the "clearance cart" on my way to the meat department. If you have never been, give them a try and if you have been there, you will go back most assuredly.

I may be a little biased since my family (Adkison) owns this store. But I grew up in this store. Getting there at 430 AM before school to unload the truck and stock the milk and eggs. This place has fostered a work ethic in me and countless other Walton County kids that has made them successful in life. The fact it's still sitting here in business is a testament to the local loyalty to homegrown business. Keep Mainstreet alive!!

This is an older (bordering on historic!) location. It has been in operation since I was a kid and my grandmother shopped here. They have the best quality meat that I've found. The store is well stocked with what you would expect to find in a small, neighborhood grocery store. In fact, they carry some items that aren't found in the larger chain stores. The store is clean and accessible to the handicapped. The staff are friendly and helpful.

All in all, just a great local market and perhaps one of the last around. It may not be as bright and shiny as the new chain store down the street but it makes up for that with old-school originality. It looks just like the grocery stores your Mom used to shop at when you were a kid. Check it out for a trip down memory lane and fill up your refrigerator while you're at it.

Best service around it's a grocery store where u feel like family. I'm always greeted with a welcoming smile and a sincere how r ya. There is always someone right there ready to help if ya need anything and the thing I really like is they still have a butcher so I can always get the meats I need or want how I need them. Also I really do like there $1.00 shelves and there discount buggy and there 50¢ and 35¢ soda machines I just wish they would put the 35¢ soda machine out side so when they r closed at night and on Sundays and I'm broke I can still get a soda it would bring in alot more money also. The soda machine outside is always out of everything but Coke and I don't like Coke.

Thrift Way is an older neighborhood style supermarket with fresh meats and produce. It is a throwback to the 1980s as far as the size and atmosphere. The prices and service are excellent which is why Walmart hasn't run them out of business.

Like going home, MS.Shirley is always there to greet you! What a great job MS. Pat has been doing with produce, frozen foods and the meat dept. looks great. Ask anyone the "only" place to get meat is Thrift_Way!!

There was a lot of bad meat when I went. The people were being nice but I asked the meat man "you think this is okay?" And pointed to the greyish green rotten meat which was clearly nuclear. And he said "oh yeah that makes it more tender." with all seriousness. I really hope no one ate that and died.

My grandparents went to this grocery store my parents did and I do to now. Best priced meats and amazing nice fresh veggies and a even friendlier staff. A very historical part of defuniak in my opinion.

This is a small grocery but a staple of my neighborhood. Things are a little hard to find because they have to pack so many items into a smaller location. The staff is very knowledgeable and the Store had a down home feel, very comfortable and friendly.

Just an average home town grocery Store. Some of the prices were decent & some things were over priced. Produce selection wasn't very great. Wouldn't go out of my way to shop there, but wouldn't avoid the place either.
