We love the Piggly Wiggly, particularly the deli. This is one of the only places we will eat from. The food is delicious and the price is a great value. They serve both breakfast and dinner, we've tried both and they are great! The employees work hard...they deserve recognition and a tip!

This store thinks is Publix. Didn’t bought one thing. All over priced for the area. Not the best produce. Absolutely not recommend the Piggly wiggly to no one. An emergency maybe. The 1/4 of the store is a greasy spoon and so called bakery. All deadly processed food made with the worse ingredients. Not my store is like a convince store. I can’t buy much there. Glad defuniak will get a Publix soon. The wannabe stores are truly hi-jacked prices.

Love this small town feel grocery store, I go straight to the deli. They have some of the best fried chicken that I have ate next to how my mom cooked it. The folks are friendly, place is clean. I go there all the time. The prices are a little higher but if I am able I would rather give my money to them than some big chain store but I'm not always able to. Did I mention you gotta try the fried chicken 🍗. The lady I'm assuming is the manager is quite but very sweet and down to earth 🌎. Her name is Lynn and much props to my man Stephen frying some of the best chicken I have ever had, he is a good dude who will do right by folks

Those potato logs in the deli! Not to be confused with potato "wedges", these are the real deal and good. It's a whole potato quartered the long way and did I mention good. Can't find them anywhere in Defuniak but Piggly Wiggly.

Nice & Clean store. First time visit, we kept smelling something that smelled yummy, found out it was coming from the deli. One lady working was extremely nice when we inquired about the chicken. She was truly helpful. Found the red shrimp I’ve been looking for.A couple of years ago, we had some shrimp they called “royal reds” from Alabama. These are the closest we found that have the similarities as R/Red’s. Thanks, Pig, for keeping these in stock, and please keep the nice lady working the deli. Merry Christmas to all of you!

Nice store with handicap parking. The employees keep things clean and are very polite and helpful. The prices are reasonable. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars because the meat I've purchased seems to go bad quicker than from other stores. This issue needs to be looked at.

Everything on the food bar is so good that there's always a short line!We love this place! You will too!!!

I hope this finds the right group of people...There's about 10-20 people who eat here daily for breakfast,lunch,and dinner..It's honestly disgusting...There should be no reason yall eat here so much the people at the counter know what your ordering when they see your face...Because this group is mostly men,yall need to find a girlfriend,wife,significant other or something...Like I told one of the workers who work there I know yall don't have wives an such at home,because a half descent woman wouldn't let her old man eat this poison 3 times out of his day..Have a home-cooked meal every now an again gentlemen...it's 2023 we ain't trying to hear cooking women's work anymore.

Some nice people work there and it's clean, but the trying to get people in the deli to make a plate was hard. 2 of them looked at me and then went and stayed in the back. The third one went to the cooler. I had to get a stocker to get them to make me a plate 😠 NOT COOL! The food was ok though.

Great food when they have it! I’ve been to the Piggly Wiggly in Defuniak on three different occasions in the past four months. The deli never has enough chicken, or sides and refuses to make more food when asked. I can understand you running out of food, but just outright refusing to make more food when I’m willing to wait, is baffling!

You'll get addicted to their hot, ready to eat deli food. Fried shrimp, fried fish, side dishes, BBQ ribs. Eat like this on a regular basis and you will begin to pack on the pounds.😁

DO NOT BUY FROM THE DELI - I purchased BBQ ribs that were not cooked through on July 3rd. Waste of money ! Had to throw them away. My one and ONLY time I ever shopped there 👎👎👎

Prices are a little higher than Walmart, but I would definitely recommend the deli and the produce for sure. Fast and easy in and out shopping, friendly employees 👌 less crowded than other grocery stores in town except at lunch time the deli always has a line because the food is so good 😋

Employees all look as if their walking on egg shells. Knowing some of the past workers, it's sad to hear how many are treated, put down & let go for the smallest reasons. As far as the store itself, very clean and stocked well.

Very happy to see them recovering from the fire! It is the little store that could.Not a very large selection but a great place to grab some things on the way home.Update 6/17/22. Brought home slab of ribs. Very smokey and no sauce. Fired up the grill applied my favorite and they were amazing.The roast chicken. First it was not bad BUT... heavily smoked and dry.If you are planning on cold side salads I recommend you choose the in house over the prepackaged.

Thought this store was a discount grocery store from the looks of the place until you look at the prices,,,1 gallon of Bordons Milk runs over $8 whereas just down the road at what is considered a convenient store Marathon sells the same exact gallon of milk for just over $4.00 a gallon

After being burned down a few times they got rid of a cooler they used to sometimes have gator tail for sale in. That's the only reason I dropped 1 star. Their meats are better than any other close options by far. They have a butcher. Their staff is all very helpful and nice. I just miss randomly being able to find gator tail!

Lived in Pacific Northwest my entire life and heard my mother talk about going to Piggly Wiggly when she 1st came from England as a child. Well this location still reminds her of the "Good ole Days?" Damn, I wish I was alive then , because everyone is nice and says hello. Even the customers are happy and singing along to the music. Good prices and the cuts of Meat, from steak to pork are the best quality I've tasted in awhile. Go for the deals and stay for the catfish.... And potato wedges......and chicken strips..... and...the list goes on. Good Job! Makes me feel like an American again. So many places have me feeling like a foreigner, cuz I don't know what the hell this PC thing is. I speak my mind and get shunned. Well heey Samantha of Big lots(seperate case), I still say your wrong! Men CANT HAVE BABIES! YOU NEED A UTERUS FOR THAT. DUH! MEOW!LOVEMOTTYFLUX

Great place to do some grocery shopping. Prices are reasonable and the employees are nice. And they have special deals at times on meat and other select items, you just got to catch them. Oh, and you might want to bring a jacket with you, that place can be very cold!

first and last time thanks to MELISSA!! I just moved nearby and due to an injury this was the most convenient place. The other employees were very friendly to me but she walked passed me with an attitude and mumbled to me as if i were another employee that she didn’t like. totally felt disrespected as a customer.

They have the best fresh meats in town!!!! Wonderful and friendly staff. Best selection of Faygo I have ever seen! It may be a little more expensive in some products, but the price of the meat, along with the freshness and friendly, helpful service, brings me back week after week.
