Such an amazing place! My parents take their dog there and recommended them. Thankfully they did, because I will never take my puppy anywhere else! It was her first time getting groomed and they were very patient and took their time with her. By the end she was playing with the other dogs and smiling. Michele was amazing!

We returned home a few hours ago with our very frightened, poorly groomed and bleeding cat after an extremely unpleasant experience at this business. We took the cat (Nellie) there to be professionally groomed as we are unable to keep her very long and thick coat under control ourselves. We had her beautifully groomed by another area service previously, but their cat groomer was no longer with them. So my wife called Lori's and asked if they could do it. They said yes, and my wife further asked if they have experience with cats that are difficult (biting, clawing) to groom. Yes they said, we can handle that. My wife asked if they required vaccination documentation beforehand. No, just make an appointment and bring her in. So we did. Upon arrival, my wife explained what the previous groomer did (a "lion cut") and further advised them again that Nellie would probably resist any attempts at grooming her and will bite and claw. They again said they could handle it. We assumed they had the necessary safety equipment and expertise to complete the job and left Nellie in their care.A couple of hours later we received a call saying they couldn't complete the grooming and we could come and pick her up. When we walked through the door, we were met by one person holding a soaking wet Nellie in her carrier, and another (who turned out to be Lori) shouting at us about how we brought them a "feral", untamed cat for them to groom. She further shouted something about how the other woman would now have to go to the hospital due to wounds Nellie caused. All the while Nellie, caught in the middle of all this and already scared and agitated, was getting worse so I grabbed the carrier and hustled her outside leaving my wife to complete the check out process. Lori meanwhile continued to loudly assail her, including saying she was "lying" about Nellie not being feral, and that Nellie was aggressive and "should be put down." ?? Not exactly what I wanted to hear - have your pet put down because we couldn't do the job we said we could do. Shortly after leaving, we called and I got Lori on the phone (admittedly very agitated myself) and wanted an explanation as to the bleeding wounds on Nellie's back that weren't there when we left her. Lori proceeded to offer some possible reasons, and I told her I would accept her explanations for the time being, but wanted to next address her verbal abuse of my wife. At that point she hung up on me.Bottom line - $115 for a job poorly done; my wife subjected to unwarranted loud and hostile verbal abuse from the business owner; and a very frightened and hurt pet that took several hours to finally calm down when we got her home.

Great job clipping my girls' nails. She didn't like the grinder, so Lori switched to the nail clippers when I asked her to without complaint. She was gentle and did a great job.

Was very upset when employee told me to come before 3pm on Sat and could get my senior dogs nails trimmed, but when I arrived at 2:35 the shop was closed. Left a message on phone how I felt this was very poor service especially since my 17yo doxie was very restless during car ride which is 30 min one way. Lori (owner) called me Monday morning and told me she would come to my house to trim my doxie’s nails. I agreed and she came that afternoon and trimmed both my dogs at no charge and apologized for how we were treated on Saturday. So thankful for her caring attitude and making this right. Thank you, Lori from Happy Paws🐾

We have a golden retriever whom has a thick coat. I did some searching and read reviews on Happy Paws. First they are very busy folks and I would recommend calling during business hours and skipping after hours message option. My impression of their shop~very well equipped and clean. There was a dog at every “station”. The dogs aren’t caged but rather they get to walk around in the grooming area which is most of the shop. The dogs all seemed happy and less panicked as they weren’t caged. The gal that handled Buster came out to me with a “fur” sample board. I was able to feel/see what his coat would feel/look like. She was very nice and my opinion she enjoyed her job. When I originally made the appointment I was told she had years of grooming experience and based on the results she definitely knows what she is doing. She did a very good job on our dog. He looks amazing. There was not any cuts or marks on him. His nails were done correctly and not cut too short. He smelled very clean. I was quoted a price over the phone but it was $20 higher when I paid my bill. My dog is large so I understand and didn’t mention that. Over all I would definitely recommend them and I will definitely be returning. It’s sorta like we humans find a person that cuts/does our hair so we stick with that person so we will stick with the groomer for our dogs hair😊.

We have been going to Happy Paws for 2 years. It started off great. But now we every time we schedule and appointment 6 weeks in advance they are trying to call us to reschedule a few days before our appointment, or even worse they want to reschedule one of our two dogs. They used to be so friendly when we walked in now we seem like we are a burden. We are looking in the area for someone that actually cares about our pups. It’s sad cause they actually do a good cut but we have to remind them every time we went what to do, you would think they would have a note on their clients.

This place is by far the best grooming experience you can get, coming from someone with a bad experience before finding Happy Paws! Everyone is very professional and so caring with your puppy! Lori is great and so is the staff I am very pleased with the turnout of my Maltese. Couldn’t thank them enough!! Definitely a life long customer!

I wanted to post something from an employee. I can absolutely say working for Happy Paws has been an honor. Lori gave me a chance and cared about my situation.Her integrity and commitment are beyond compare. She truly loves animals. Over the years I have met people who say one thing and do another but Lori is transparent and keeps everything open for clients. I have seen her and her groomers take the time to speak to a client when they really did not have a lot a time. I have seen her more than once come to front lobby sit on the floor and love on dog and speak to client like it was the most natural thing to do. Are these people perfect no no one is, but they are real and they absolutely care about your "your fur babies" and that is pretty close to perfect for me.

Best Grooming Salon we have ever been too. My pups actually pull us to get in her door and don't want to leave when we come to pick them up. They love the cage free environment. They always look beautiful and smell wonderful. We highly recommended Lori and her staff at Happy Paws by Lori.

Before leaving TX to visit my mother in DeBary, I had my dog groomed. It wasn't even at all and his ears were left long and not thinned out, causing the ears to go in his food and water dishes. Lori trimmed his ears and thinned them out, and they look great!! They were very professional and cordial. Also, my very anxious dog was calm the entire time which shows how great they are with our pets!

Lori did an AMAZING, gentle job on a severe neglect case with matting so bad all over her body that I cried. Lori and another of her groomers had her done in a couple of hours, absolutely transformed, and very much relieved from all the pain and constriction. I knew she would have nicks all over her since it was so extreme, and could find NOT A ONE! SHE IS A+ AND DOES MUCH FOR RESCUES THAT NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT! Absolutely top notch when it comes to the critters!

Have been going to Happy Paws since 2013 and my two dogs absolutely love going there. As we pull into the parking lot Max and Lucy get very excited. When I come to pick them up, they are both very energetic and happy.Always pleased with the results and experience.Only problem is my schedule no longer allows me access to Happy Paws as my days off are also their days off.

Took my anxious pup in on Saturday for a nail trim Desiree was excellent! Patient kind and gentle, talking to him and even though he was super anxious we got through it and I truly appreciate the great service. I hope to bring my other pup here soon and I would highly recommend this place.

My golden retriever absolutely loves going to Happy Paws for his bath and nail trim. He loves playing with the other dogs. No crates. Everyone is so friendly and loves the dogs. My dog gets so excited as soon as we get his leash out he knows he is going to play! It’s a great place!

Initially I was very fond of this place until the following. I was told the price to have my Alaskan husky receive a shedding groom would be $45 nobody changed the price until I was there and my dog was already on the table and the owner told me it would be $65 because it would take the groomer approximately 2 hours to do the process. Someone needs to explain time telling to Lori because my dog was on the table at 12:10 and we left at 1:00 p.m. less time I checked that is 50 minutes not 2 hours. Additionally when the dogs are free to roam about and play Accidents will happen the woman that was mopping would mop upand replace the mop in a bucket. I watch this happen numerous times and the water never was sanitized or changed when she would pick up a bowel movement that a dog had she never sprayed the area or mopped over it. I do think that the gentleman that groomed my dog has a great love for pets and deserves 5 stars but for the owner to never call me back when I called questioning the charge I find very offensive and honestly view it as a way she wanted to get rid of me and my 3 dogs as customers. Sorry to say that Lori has lost her edge on customer satisfaction and service. Both of our dogs have been going to her since she opened up in Debary. It has gotten to the point where they are taking on so many appointments that they can't keep up. I got to the point of being fed up today and will no longer take my pets to this establishment. I made an appointment with them last week and the girl who made the appointments told me the appointments were for 12:30pm. When I got there they said they would not take our dogs because we were late. When I questioned them they got very abrupt and said the appointment was for 12:00pm not 12:30pm. Its pretty bad when you get employees who can not communicate properly. Lori's employee forgot to tell me the first appointment was at 12:00pm. Lori did not even want to fix the issue and assumed it was my fault not her employees fault. In addition to the communication issues there was always something that got forgotten on one or both of our dogs. Either the ears didn't get cleaned or the nails wouldn't get clipped. She was always good about having me bring them back in to fix what didn't get done but who has time for that! Plus, they raised their pricing with their professionalism and customer service going down the toilet!!!!!! What a disappointment...They have lost what once was a loyal customer and we have already found a new groomer. I dont like being treated like I was treated when I went in there today. I will never recommend anyone to Happy Paws.

Excellent experience with all 3 of our dogs. One had been abused and is very fragile and fearful. The staff went above and beyond to get him comfortable. He found his grooming buddy with Brian thankfully. We found our forever groomers. Thanks a million. P.s did an excellent job grooming!

I've never found a groomer that does my dog's nails as well as Happy Paws does!! They use a professional grade dremmel and take the dog's nails down to where they should be, while smoothing the nails down at the same time .. which prevents cutting the dog's nails too short and causing a bleed.I just moved to their side of town and I inquired about the cost of getting my two dogs bathed .. while it would be $28.00 more (including the tip) than I pay now, I would love to bring my dogs here if I could afford it. They have a very nice, clean shop - no smell or sight of urine or poop, (which, believe it or not, is more common at some of the groomer's than you might think). The shop is laid out beautifully .. they have all the necessary, profesional grade grooming equipment.The owner and employee's are very nice and very professional. I've taken my dog's to MANY different groomer's - looking for the right one- that's when I found the groomer that I've been using for the last 8 years. It's really hard to find a clean, good smelling, professional shop where they take the time needed to FULLY groom each and every dog!!! At Happy Paws each groomer has their own room with their own individual daily schedule, listing which dogs that groomer will do that day ... and the time allotted for each dog. I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED!!! They don't over book so call ahead .. you may have to wait a bit to get an appointment .. I can attest to this .. I heard someone call in to book an appointment while I was there and it was about a week out ... I'm sure it's well worth the wait - otherwise they wouldn't be booked, right?? One thing I noticed right away when I walked in .. there wasn't 101 dogs running free all over the shop, barking their heads off .. which is a really good sign.Needless to say .. I will FOREVER take my dogs to Happy Paws, even if it is only to get their nails done!! Nice part about it is they take walk-ins to do just nails. My groomer doesn't even do that!! I have to call them and see when they will make time to cut my dogs nails - AND that's only because they forgot to do them when I had him in for a full groom .. I guess stuff happens but I don't think it should happen more than one .. but, it has!!!Happy Paws should be proud .. they are doing what they do - NOT ONLY WELL .. BUT THE WAY IT SHOULD BE DONE!!! 😊

Excellent staff who is great with cats. Our two cats give us such a hard time to clip there nails so we always bring them here because they make it quick and easy. Its also only $5 per pet. Can't beat that!

I bring my dogs here for toe nails and anal glands and never have an issue getting them in (walk-in). The folks are very friendly and polite. They even Dremel the nails in front of me, which is comforting for the dogs.
