Went to holiday store at 4:30.. doors are locked. Was informed by 2 workers they closed because they have to put stuff away. Since when, most times cannot even get down aisle. Was informed if I don't like it call management. Usually busy time for dollar general. Just turning all away. Great service

Went in for a few items and ended up waiting in line for over 10 minutes because there was only one person on a register. THEN Kristy another worker, n decided that she saw a regular, didn’t say anything to anyone else and decided to take him while there were 4 of us already in line waiting still. Then proceeded to talk to him and after checking him out went outside with him to talk while customers were still waiting. I feel bad for the other workers who actually do their job. Won’t go back especially when workers can’t even acknowledge customers and can decide who they want to take.

Pour customer service, The shelves are always empty! Employees always doing the least! Definitely would recommend Family dollar instead. They have great customer service, usually has everything I'm looking for and pricing is just right.

Manager Scott got nervous when i took a picture of one of his make shift rolling cart shelving units. He then confronted me closer than he should have trying to intimidate me and get me to delete my picture. He proceeded to tell me that i was not allowed to take pictures in the store. When i asked him why he had no reply for me. What started out as a simple picture of something i thought was a genius move on the stores part, ended up with a very sour taste in my mouth for this location. Never mind the fact that the shelves were barely stocked of anything and the store was a hot mess with stuff crammed down every isle.

You never can call the store because they leave it off the hook! The manager doesn't know what he is doing and should not be in a hospitality position! Within the last year the Dollar General on US19 in Holiday has went downhill! The store is filthy and cluttered, they are always out of items and it takes forever for them to restock the items! The management doesn't know how to order enough products! And the employees are very rude and I'm sure they learned being rude from the manager because he's very rude at times!

No public restroom, can be used for employees only!!! Think I’ll see if the county inspector agrees with that! Big lazy manager kicked back relaxing in a chair while aisles of store are impassable due to numerous big racks of new inventory needing to be put on shelves! I think a block up the street to DG competition is a better choice!!

A filthy store with the most disrespectful staff I have ever experienced. Found silverfish in a box of a clover valley corn flakes cereal and when I brought it up to the manager without even asking for a refund he accused me of keeping a dirty home and looked like he wanted to get violent with me. I'm a 67-year-old man who's been living on sunray drive since it was society drive and have never had such a terrible shopping experience.

Ever since Scott left as manager the store has been degrading in cleanliness and customer service exponentially. The new head staff member gets more out of bullying and insulting people than he does from Doing his job. I’ve been shopping at the store and at this building for over 40 years since it was an Eckerd drugs and have never had any trouble there until this POS. I even used to bring their carts back to them from over a mile away when I would find them. Now if I find them I’m throwing them in the river and I will never shop at this dollar general again.

The front door access is not handicap friendly it'd be nice to have the automatic doors. The ones at the location are pull and not push so it's very difficult in a wheel chair.I do feel uncomfortable going there with all the bums out front begging for money.Items are easy to find cashiers always friendly fast & Efficiant and welcoming.

Since they remodeled the store. You cant move down the aisles. They always have stock items everywhere. It does not make it easy to get the items you are wanting. Sometimes you have to push something around so you can get what you need. They need to hire help to get everything put away, so you can move. Some of the help are nice.. some not at all. There are a lot better General Dollars around.

I only gave it one star so I could write how incredibly rude and unhelpful the staff is in this store. I have worked customer service/retail most of my life and I have rarely seen a more horribly run store. I have literally been snapped at for asking if they had an item in stock. Another time I had to wait in line with at least 8 other people while one employed complained and cursed very loudly at the other (the other guy also happens to be the only decent man there) employee that she wasn't supposed to have to run register. I was stunned and couldn't believe how disrespectful she was to her coworker/employee. Inexcusable!!

There are way to many stock item's in the aisles. It would be nice if the employees could stock at a more reasonable hour, as the aisles are very narrow.If that is not possible then please keep the rest of the stuff in the back until you are ready to stock it,and not all over the store. It is very inconvenient.

The manager is downright disrespectful. I worked there over 5 years ago. When it was time for me to relocate I gave my two week notice. Now I'm trying to get a job at a sister company and they're telling me that the manager put me in the system as a termination. I called to speak with him on the situation and he told me to take it up with HR and hung up on me.

I've had nothing but g this one is quickly becoming my favoriteood experience with this Dollar General store. Every time I go in I'm greated with a hardy hello from the staff. They're very knowledgeable about the products they sell and also very helpful and willing to stop what they're doing to give you a hand if need be. There are lots of DG stores in the area but this one is quickly becoming my favorite!

This store hasn’t been here that long and it’s filthy inside. Doesn’t look like they mopped the floors in weeks. Never mind waxed. The shelves were stocked ok but I was grossed out and left without buying anything. Maybe they don’t have enough help, IDK. Sad.

Yes I do not understand I don't know if they have something going on on their own and they're trying to get out early or what's going on but I was there 10 minutes before closing time trying to get one item when it took me two minutes and would not let me in the store

One of the worst shopping experiences of my life! The music is blaring so I could barely think! There were 2 people behind the registers. One person was assisting a customer while the other ignored me as she cleaned the counters. I'm all for clean counters but you could at least acknowledge me and say someone will be right with me. I am going to return my things and never go back!

The customer service is horrible, shelves didn't have what I was needing to get I've heard on Saturdays they do take items off the shelf that is coupon related. Cashier got frustrated that she had to call for back up today I just wanted to make sure my coupons was coming off she re rang up everything that was coupon related rudely asked if she could continue with my other items.

Love this dollar general. The employees are always friendly and even when there away from the register stocking, in the back, etc. When i am ready to check out and come up to the register they always drop what they're doing and come check me out quick! I love that! Thank you! Definitely recommend this location.

I don't usually go out, but when I do, a nice Dollar General is appreciated. Phoebe was the young lady I dealt with when I went in and she was an absolute sweetheart. She helped me find Jello and a plunger, even had to run to the back and get something from the highest most precarious spot for me, and she was 6 months pregnant! Floor was clean and everything went smooth.

I loved coming here before they redid the store and I love it even more now!! This is hands down my favorite Dollar General. Thank you guys for always being organized and keeping the store clean when others aren’t so much. They have a nice selection of snacks, food, drinks, decor, household products, cat and dog products and so much more! I also highly recommend Clover Valley Fudge Mint Cookies, Coconut Fudge and Carmel Cookies and Fudge Peanut Butter Cookies!! They taste almost identical to Girl Scout cookies and they are way cheaper! I almost always buy them every time I come here. The workers are friendly as well!

The staff here is always nice. But Dollar General itself is chaotic you can never get to what yiu need because it's blocked by carts of overstock on carts.Its my go to place for certain items but just can't just enjoy wandering the iles for shopping. I'd prob spend more money if I could navigate and actually see what they have.

The male cashier that checked me out was NOT Friendly.... NOT Nice.... Did NOT greet the Customers when they came to check out.... I would if he would be that cranky if he had to spend 2 hours every week just trying to collect unemployment!! This store always appears dirty. The shelves are always low on inventory... I live close.... And will drive extra to go to the dollar general market.

The Holiday FL location is the worst Dollar General location there is, whether it be the rude employee's or the dirty aisles, when you make a complaint they just smirk at you because they dont care. They'll leave ya standing in line and yell to the employee in back of store and then when they do feel like scanning your items it a flick of the wrist to which I must intupret means I'm next. They will never get another dime of mine... I'll go a little further and stop where they dont hire the trash that hangs out behind the store. Undercover boss needs to visit this location, or corporate needs to have a serious overhaul. Gutter trash employees and worse management.

Josh (with dreads) is the best. I go in there often and during the holiday was crazy. And most of the staff was horrible with attitude acted like they hated their jobs allowed disorder line. He went above and beyond with his attitude so nice and genuine. Even helped a old lady in front of me put everything in her buggy around the counter. Hes the only reason. They get 5 stars

shelves are never stocked . They have boxes in the isle to make it almost impossible for people to walk down the aisles. I mean if the fire marshal came in they would be cited There's always long lines never have enough cashiers to handle it or they seem to busy to come up and help

I have had better customer service at a self serve kiosk. No smiles. No greeting.no thanks for coming. Just always yapping her mouth to other people in the store the whole time...every time. The guy just gives off the vibe he hates his life and wants you to outta there. I respect it. At least he gives you a fester Adams vibe. The younger kid: Acts like he is scared and just wants to do well. Nervous. Prob cause the yapping Chihuahua is always criticising him in front of others. I drive to a different location Majority of the time unless in a rush and hope the man is there.
