I want to first say that I had a wonderful experience with Michael & Janet….they kept me informed while I waited for my permit to be approved and sent me pics & did a FaceTime with me so I could see my baby. I received a healthy little boy squirrel monkey that has adjusted well to our home. Before taking him, Janet provided over an hour of training and answered ALL of my questions and concerns. She gave drinks and snacks to my son & I while we were there and called to make sure we arrived home hours later. I would definitely come here for a playmate for my little baby!!!

Let me start off by saying, These people are great! I bought a healthy marmoset monkey, 6 years ago.The issue is these animals are not meant to be pets. It ends up as a torture for them and their owner. After they are fully grown ( about age of 2) is when everything starts. In nature they live in groups, they’d let you be their leader, whoever they will always want to be the “ second” one in the group. Which means they will attack anybody close to you. Kids, spouse, sibling other pets such as dogs and etc. It becomes a nightmare living in your own house. So these animals end up in the cage for most of their time. It’s extremely sad. Training can only suppressed their natural instincts, which sooner or later will come out. I did a mistake and I hope I can help at least 1 monkey or a person of getting into this. Travel time is getting very complicated, they stink extremely bad, but most of all you and your pet will end up unhappy, so does anyone who lives with you. They are not meant to be pets!!! Please do your research before you move forward on getting one :(.

They are super rude peopleAlso they will tell you $7000 for marmoset monkey then they will charge you $400 extra for lisheAlso they will try to charge you $2500 for training course, and when you say you don't want it they will say ok its free...just you to come and buy from them...also check their prices before you shop anything !!! They sale it most expensive in the usaThey not worth to do business with them !!!Guys be aware !!!!

Just spoke with Michael, he answered my call at almost 10pm as I was just calling to see if it was and actual pet store or private seller. But he was very very helpful and very kind in guiding me in which direction to go as far as the type of monkey would fit our household. He took time from putting his kids to bed to answer all of my questions and help me get started with the buying and owning a primate process! We just got our new baby marmoset on Thursday we flew from Michigan and drove back with our new baby. We were very pleased with their hospitality and there training. We felt confident leaving with our new baby and couldn’t be more thankful, they were super friendly are really glad we went to them! I would recommend this place to anyone! Ill be back im sure!

Drove from South Carolina to Poggi's Animal House. We purchased a baby pocket monkey. The family and the whole experience was very professional and very very friendly. Felt like a family invitation not just business. The information for caring and history of raising was excellent. Great people!! They are very informative about how to take care of our baby marmoset and it was an all around good experience. Very responsive to any questions and issues we may have. Beautiful home & land where there monkeys and animals are kept. Very clean. POGGI IS THE ONLY PLACE ANYONE SHOULD GO FOR A BABY MARMOSET. Great communication from the beginning and all the way through. At first I was worried it might be a scam so I called and checked often and was always given an update on my baby! Then once it was time to pick him up I was met with great hospitality while I was taught everything I needed to know about caring for the baby and what to expect going forward. Hands down, Best breeder!I received my Marmoset a year ago. She fly from Florida to Vegas. At Poggi’s Animal House are very trustable and they truly CARE ABOUT THEIR ANIMALS. My monkey came healthy and very social , along with her documentation and health sertificate.I was in constant contact with Poggi’s Animal House, they trained me how to take care of her and also answered all my questions.Even after a year, they still help me when I have some questions regarding her care.It has been an amazing experience! I am looking forward to my next baby 🐵🍼

I have now purchased 3 babies from Mr. Poggi at Poggis Animal House. All of them are healthy and friendly. To be honest I am shocked when I read a bad review on them. They have always returned my calls, and helped me when I needed it. The gentleman that answers the phone is Mike and he is very friendly and always answers my questions. He has helped me complete the State permit paperwork each time. I have referred them to several people and all are very happy with Poggis. Like most people, I spent some time researching breeders even calling the Florida Wildlife Commission who confirmed Poggis license and said they are in good standing. I recently read a bad review on another site who sounded like they have alternative reasons for the bad review. It was filled with a lot of fluff but what makes it clear is the fact that they placed the name of another breeder in the review who are "cheaper". Then why did they contact Poggis to begin with? If there is a legitimate complaint then state it and don't look to direct reviewers or customers to another business unless there is more to the story. I have also learned that cheaper is certainly not always better. Thank you Mike, Mr. Poggi and the entire team at Poggis Animal House for making my house so special.

I bought a baby marmoset at Poggi's Animal House a little over a year ago. The whole process went very smoothly, and pleasantly quickly. I got in touch with them and in about a week I had my baby, Oliver, in my hands. I paid them the amount in full using paypal, and they did everything possible to make the buying process pleasant. Once I got there they went further in depth on how to feed my baby formula, how to potty train him, and more! They even had a list of foods and a schedule of that food to give him based on his age to ensure he grew up happy and healthy. It's over a year later and I've never been so happy. Anytime I have any questions I can give them a call they're always so pleasant and eager to help. My baby is adorable and I'm so glad I purchased him from Poggi's Animal House. Called to ask for information , and the person who answered was extremely rude!! I am extremely upset !!! I was super excited to bring home a cute little monkey and this person just crushed my experience. In a very polite way I asked for information due to this being the first time i look into something like this, and I was denied information for mentioning I lived in Texas close to the Mexican border. I do not understand how my location has anything to do or affects the fact of having the funds for purchasing a monkey. I definitely do not recommend this place at all!!! I hope everyone gets a chance to view this and considers it before purchasing here.

WOW, it was everything they promised. This is the second Marm I received from Poggis Animal House. They were all so helpful, and always available on the phone. Their training was very detailed and I never felt rushed. I do know 2 other people that also dealt with Mr. Poggi and everyone is very happy. Before I bought my first baby I spoke to so many scammers. It was obvious as I had to wire money to different locations. Poggis Animal House accepted Paypal and that was huge for me. I also didn't take their word for things. I contacted the FWC and the USDA who also confirmed they were legit. Maybe they were a few dollars more but both of my babies were so friendly from the first second I held them. I also received all the paperwork including the USDA Health papers. I will always love Poggis Animal House.

I am surprised by the negative post. My wife and I drove there from the Texas hill country 18 months ago to make sure it was legit. Met the people working there and they were very friendly. His wife was extremely helpful and STILL IS TO THIS DAY!

I like the cinnamon capuchins tho they should update the laws on their website in new mexico its up to the county whether monkey are allowed in that juristiction but cant really complain too much he does pretty cheap financing he take care of his animals he gets a bad rap but i think he makes good birthdays for kids and makes familys proud of him 5/5

Most wonderful monkey breeder ever. They are amazing and I have not only gained a monkey, I gained a forever family. They have been so helpful. My monkey was shipped my plane and it went great. She is so beautiful and healthy. I bought from both poggi and the monkey whisperer and the monkey whisperer sold me a bald sick monkey. He was shipped by car because he didn't want to get a health check done so he could fly (he wouldn't have passed) and it took them almost 3 days to get to Ohio from Florida. I cant stress enough how stressful a 3 day drive was for my 5 week old monkey. When the monkey arrived it had no paperwork except a receipt. No health check. I texted the monkey whisperer the day the monkey arrived and told him he was bald and sneezing a lot. He immediately text back and called my family names and accused us of unspeakable things. I was only looking for advice. Poggis animal house has not only gave me tons of advice on the monkey they sold me but they have worked with me to get the monkey I bought from the monkey whisperer healthy as well. I cant state enough how amazing poggis animal house is. They are my forever monkey family and I couldn't be happier to have them.
