I had 2 rescue dogs from their non- profit, Glimmer of Life. Now I volunteer there on weekends. I get to walk the dogs, hold then, and rub their backs. All the dogs are so very sweet, and it's good therapy for me.Then there is the store, teacups, puppies and boutique. Never saw owners care so much about their pedigree teacups and puppies. Dr comes by to check on a regular basis, etc. The clothing they have there! I wish it was made in human sizes 😁 so extremely stylish!Pets are people too: Want to spoil you dog to an oatmeal bath, make an appointment here. I was always confident that my dog was safe when I dropped him off.If I didn't like the place, the workers, the owners I would be leaving a different kind of review.I want to be honest and say I have heard people say they can get puppies cheaper on the internet. Maybe they can, but would you really purchase a puppie without holding it, and seeing if there is a connection? You also don't know where the dogs come from, if they are sick, the background. Volunteering here I have heard people ask to see the mother and father photos. How big will it be, etc.What can I say. 5 stars. I would give more if I could. I have attached pictures of my adorable rescues. A dog can bring so much into one's life.

Fabulous. The place is amazing. I have purchased 2 puppies from them, not at the same time and they make sure the puppies are going to a home that they will be loved and cared for properly.They also have an amazing assortment of items for your new and older babies.

I have been going to Pets are People too since they were on Taft and Douglas. Donna was the owner not sure if she still is but she saved my first fur baby life by recommending an awesome vet. Just got a new fur baby and decided to go back to them because they were great with my first puppy. I left very disappointed. I paid $65 and my puppy looks like nothing was done. I spoke to the young lady at the front (she was very sweet) and she advised me they do a light trim. My puppy has uneven whiskers and his paws were not shave. All it looks like they did was give him a bath. Very disappointing.

Amazing experience!! Purchased our little Nikki 5 years ago and couldn’t be happier! The owners and staff were awesome and we go visit every chance we get!! Would highly recommend for buying a puppy, grooming and they have the most beautiful accessories anywhere!!

This is the worst place I have taken my fur baby for grooming. I picked up my baby, and one of his eyes was irritated. I took him to the vet, and was told he had a cut on the cornea. This occurred at the groomers. I called and spoke with Donna, who I was told is the owner. After I explained the situation, Donna had the audacity to tell me that my fur baby was not being cooperative. She further compared my baby's eye being damaged, to her ear getting snipped, while getting a hair cut. SERIOUSLY! Comparing damage to an eye, with damage to an ear! That confirmed to me, they do not love and care about our fur babies as they claim. They're a bunch of phonies!!!

Awesome place! They take amazing care of their puppies a bit expensive but you're paying for the quality you can go down the road and buy a cheaper puppy but you won't get the same quality I will highly recommend this place for your forever friends the owners are very knowledgeable and will guide you every step of the way with your new puppy! will definitely come back!

Attempted to take my beautiful maltese for grooming and they were too rude. I wouldn't trust them with my little guy. Found a wonderful place in Boca. They adore him. He looks like a show dog.

Purchased both of my babies here and was a loyal customer for years. All the way down to when they first opened on griffin rd over a decade ago. But I will never use their grooming EVER again. Since they've replaced their original groomers over the years they've done nothing but give my babies horrible haircuts and my oldest baby is afraid to death to go now when he was never like that before. They cut his nails so short that he couldn't walk on that foot for a few days. They also cut him with the razor. When I expressed my concern they didn't give a damn and just pushed me aside and started talking to another customer. In my opinion they have gotten too big to handle caring about the customers that brought them to there success.

I have been taking my dogs for a long time but lately the service is not as good as before. The last time my dogs had the worst hair cut ever, I had to wait about 30 minutes to get my dogs and manager took a long time to reply my two messages about how disappointed I felt with the service. She offered me a free hair cut but I am not bringing my two dogs back to this place. they just lost a faithful customer.

Have dealt with the owners for several years and they continue to offer excellent, personable service. They treat their dogs with lots of TLC and the boutique is maintained very well. Adorable puppies and fashionable dog clothes and accessories

I have been a customer for a very long timeGot my morkie baby here and have been grooming for over 12 yearsWas told every month for the last 6 months that they are not doing full body grooming yet and to check backI call every 3 to 4 weeks still no updatesFinally I called yesterday and a lady told me they will not be doing grooming anymoreIf you knew all along why not tell your customersI have know Donna for nearly 30 yearsJust upsets me that they could not just tell the truth months ago instead of having customers calling 60 times or more waiting for when our dogs could resume full groomingJust unacceptableA little communication would have been nice

I took my puppy to be groomed I called on the phone they told me it would be $25 when I went to pick up my puppy they want to charge me $75 they are scam artist I would not buy any animal for them or do any service from them I’m warning everyone what these people are doing their abusing people You did not call to tell me that you was going to charge me more money when I came in you wanted $75 i’m not the only one that complained and look at all the other reviews you have you also clip my dogs nails extremely short and he was crying in pain my advice to anyone do not buy your puppies from them and do not come your dog to them I do not care for animals They hurt my puppy
