This store absolutely sucks! Every time I go there they have nothing stocked. I can’t Count the times I’ve been there in the store is never open they always have the doors locked. Their employees are not nice by no means. They have water dripping from the ceiling. You’re better off going to the Family Dollar across the street then waste your time going to this store!

Not my choice of stores. Aisles are so tight, one needs four wheel steering to make a right turn and there's no room to pass. Some of the staff have zero personality but I can't say I would work for this company they way they treat people it would make me drab too. The police come quite often so it might not even be open. Under the current Bidenomics I wouldn't be surprised if it closed permanently.

Been shopping at this location for the past 3 years even though there have been times when the shelves are empty, no baskets and isles always crowdednwith boxes you cant even get down them. I normally carry my phone to look at digital coupons while I shop or take pictures of things I want (but not at the moment) to sace for a reminder. Today I went in for 3 items but gor distracted by all their new spring stuff so was in there awhile looking around and ended up buying much more than I originally went for. While paying for my stuff the cashier was giving me a dirty look, when I got out to my truck she came out and confronted me saying "im gonna be straight up with you, did you steal anything?" I was shocked and thought maybe it was because I had been wondering around the small store for a good hour but only bought about 6 items. When I told her no, I was just casually shopping she told me she seen something under my shirt....i began to lift my shirt and show her that nothing was there but my phone (that I typically hold in my waist band because I have no pockets) but then then quickly put it back down because I shouldnt have to expose myself when she had no proof I was stealing. If thats how she handles people when she thinks someone is stealing she better be careful, especially now a days, what if I had a gun in my waist band and pulled it on her cause I felt offended? What if I had a medical problem and it was a medical device strapped to my waist that I was self conscious of? If she thought i was stealing why didnt she call the cops? I was in the store a good 45 mins so she had plenty of time. I thought the whole thing was ridiculous and when I got home and tild my husband I started getting even more upset because I have never stolen before, I have no criminal record and felt she had no reason to approach me that way. Now I cant decide if I want to avoid that store all together in the future or next time I go back confront her when I walk through the door and let her know 1) i carry my phone there 2) she needs to be careful confronting people that way 3)They should be worrying more about someone getting hurt with all the stock boxes in the aisles.I was very offended and embarrassed by the whole situation. So if you plan to shop there keep in mind they jave cameras and one of the girls (not sure if she was just a cashier or a manager) likes to accuse innocent people of stealing with no proof.

It is 1:04 and I arrived to find the location closed, locked. I knock because I can see the Coca Cola driver loading the sodas and he just shakes his head. There is no sign on the door , stating as to why the store is closed. Online the door still shows open. Disappointed.

Lately everytime I go here at 8 am it says the store is open and it isn't. The employee says it's Close. I been comming for the last 3 days and it's been like this. I had to Family Dollar and the employee told me that is normal.

This store is unorganized. Lines to check out too log. Down the isle. And not to mention they NEVER have anything in stock. When family dollar was open dollar general was much better but now the people who shopped family dollar are at dollar general and the shelves are empty 90 % of the time . But hey Davenport let’s build more houses and no schools or roads to support all these people. Oh wait that’s right there has been many complaints to the city and they do not care !!!! Lived here over 30 years. Some bs what the city is doing to our town

By far the cleanest, most sanitary Dollar General i have ever been in! Management was more helpful, and personable than any of the big name store I regularly go to. Bringing my business here all the time now.

There are always pallets of boxes in the isles. My husband was in a wheelchair and could never go inside because of this problem. I have to say it's better than the one on Ronald Regan though. You can't even walk in that store.

While the staff is always polite, this store is ALWAYS unorganized. At any time of day you will have a cart full of boxes taking up isle space. The toy isle is always a disaster and rarely stocked.

I am so loving going there. It beats the hell out of going to the big box store. Keep finding things I need for less money.. Plus you can find and employee to help you. The employees are helpful and courteous. Unlike the big store. My blood pressure has dropped 50 points shopping at DG Whoopee.

There's a manager named Chrissy in there who goes above and beyond the call of duty EVERY SINGLE DAY! HER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE EPITOME OF WHAT EVERY CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE SHOULD STRIVE TO BE LIKE.! SHE ALWAYS PUTS ME IN A GOOD MOOD, EVEN IF I WALKED IN WITH A BAD ONE! I HOPE SHE WILL BE RECOGNIZED AS A PILLAR IF DOLLAR GENERAL AND THE TREASURE THAT SHE TRULY IS!!!

Out purchasing more goods today. I have purchased all the hanging baskets from 5 stores. Finding new supplies on every aisle. Cat food for the neighbors cat. Less expensive than the other place that spends millions saying they are low. Treat ten times better at D . G.

This store claims not to honor the Dollar General sales paper and, some of the Dollar General apps coupons. Mind me they can have the sales paper sitting big in their store but, they don’t follow it. 🤦🏾‍♀️ I was told to take it up with corporate office but, was given the store number instead. The manager I came across was very unprofessional and, not manager material. She couldn’t even use the Calculator to -40% off from the merchandise that was supposed to be 40% off but wasn’t ringing 40% off...That’s very sad she suggested that she would just take $.50 off to prevent from doing the calculation.🤦🏾‍♀️ Not judging just saying 40% is 40% not 0.6% Get it together.

If i could leave zero stars that would be over rated! Line to the back of the store, one person working the register, and the manager on a personal phone call talking about someone being on crazy medication instead of trying to help her employees! Very very very unprofessional! Place looks like a tornado hit it! Very unorganized and messy. Awful never anything on the shelves if they have any thing it's always on carts, in baskets, or still in the boxes. Every few weeks a new store manager but it stays the same way you can't even walk down the isles evidently Corporate do not care .

The employees very unfriendly. And the manager was heard saying that the water that they had was for the employees and their families. And with the hurricane coming and everyone searching for water made me very very upset. The store was dirty also. Was treated very poorly. They were not friendly at all. I am calling corporate to file a grievance about the water. I will never shop a dollar general again.

Customers are expected to wear masks..but employee arent wearing them, one of the female workers was standing next to the line of customers breathing air in and out in deep breathes all around the customers...so disguisting and not acceptable why are they not wearing masks ?? And atleast 1 of them are managers.

It was very over crowded in the back where the holiday merchandise needing to be stocked in certain aisles. There's no restroom for customers to use just employees. The store is small for so much merchandise to be placed up.

I like this Dollar General. They seem to have more choices. Wider isles. Also a friendly employee to help you find things. There is also ample parking.
