Never will we EVER order from here again. I honestly cannot understand how they have such good reviews. My husband had ordered sandwiches for the both of us. My sandwich was not pressed and it was cold. They completely gave him the wrong sandwich. We were NOT impressed.

Today was my first time in this place, because I only know a few establishments in this town since I moved to live here permanently in September 2022. From the employee who greets you with a "Good morning and happy Monday", to the one who prepares the sandwiches, you are received very kindly and with a smile, which makes you feel at home. The place looks very clean and tidy, and the sandwiches we ordered, along with the pasta salad, were delicious. The only detail that caught our attention is the very strong smell of burnt oil, apart from that detail, I recommend the place. I have yet to try the ice cream; that will be on my next visit.

My girlfriend and I each had deli sandwiches, both very good and fresh, then we had a large dish of ice cream. Was out of this world. And the the service was wonderful, and very friendly. We will be back soon.

Very disappointed and will not return. I’ve been to TJ’s multiple times before and never had a bad meal. That all changed when I went earlier this week. One member of the staff, mid 20s or early 30s white guy, was extremely rude and disrespectful. It was obvious the other staff member, a middle aged black lady, was very embarrassed by his actions. She was very nice and I felt bad for her. But the guy’s actions toward the customers were uncalled for. He kept complained about having to make so many sandwiches for an order by phone and the store was getting busy. It was also noon time during a weekday. It was unfortunate that he got so “overwhelmed” from making sandwiches that he caused customers, including myself, to walk out in disgust. Luckily there’s other options in Dade City for lunch because this place will no longer receive my business all because this guy can’t handle the stress of making a few sandwiches.

Michael, the owner went out of his way to make us welcome and made an excellent Italian sandwich for us. The menu options were great. It's great to see these guys still serving consistent, good food.

This place has amazing service and food. I've been ordering from them every Saturday and Sunday for the past few months, and I always get the cuban sandwhich with a side (normally macaroni salad or potato salad). There sandwhiches are always good. Sometimes they come a little different (not sliced in half or they have end pieces of bread), but it doesn't matter because it's always tasty.A few times the drinks the meals come with were missing, but that's fine because it happens. I forgot to mention that I don't go in person- I order delivery- so half the time if something is forgotten (especially drinks), it's the driver's fault. Other half is restaurant.I used to always get the potato salad but the flavor hasn't been the way I used to love it, so I've been getting the macaroni salad. This weekend I wanted the sour cream and onion chips, but they forgot them.The next day, I wrote a note through grubhub before ordering that they forgot it last time and they gave me both a macaroni salad and some chips. So again- amazing service and amazing food!UPDATE: October 2023 it’s went from 5 stars to ONE star.Not only are they slacking on the sandwiches… I am repeatedly getting rotten food. I’ve gotten rotten potato salad that almost made me puke because of what I assumed to be spoiled Mayo. I’ve had it taste bad a few times (same for the macaroni salad), but man that time it made me literally sick. Then I received chips that were expired in January and it was September. Really??? I didn’t notice until after I tried them because they tasted funny and didn’t think to check the date because I expect fresh food. Do some inventory and pay attention to expiration dates. You can really make someone sick! I have brought it to your attention multiple times and y’all did nothing. I won’t order here anymore.

I got a bowl of chili that was the best chili I've had him since I can remember only my grandma become close it was great and the milkshake was great I ain't got outside on the picnic table and enjoyed the weather

We had heard good things before we visited the first time, so our expectations were high, but TJ's shocked us at how good it was! The sandwiches we ordered were excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was super friendly & attentive. We then got ice cream and that was great too: great quality, big serving sizes, and reasonable prices. While we were there I overheard another customer talking to someone on the phone and was telling them "I stopped by a place for dinner that I hadn't been to before and they have the best Cuban I've ever had." We will DEFINITELY be back!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Negative stars warranted.The male behind the counter making the sandwiches was downright insulting. He likes to serve frozen meatballs on subs and then shout out "Make Sure you Tell Your Friends." after telling him that the meatballs are frozen. Well, I am doing just like he suggested. Be Aware.

Love this place! I ordered a Cuban sandwich which was made fresh and tasted amazing! The ice cream was good too, and there are many flavors to choose from. They also have wine and beer and lots of outdoor seating. Great service too! Highly recommended.

I go here for lunch pretty frequently. They have the best deli style sandwich in town. You can't go wrong with their Ruben or Cubans. Both are excellent. They meter their side dishes a bit on the slim side, so it isn't quite as filling as I'd like, but for the price I can't complain. I highly recommend this locally owned spot. Five stars! I will continue to eat here as long as I'm in town.

Store had a handful of customers 3-4. After waiting 13 min to order, the 2 employees working did not seem to work well together at all. Between swapping stations in the middle of making food to dropping an entire sub on the floor and cursing in front of customers. We ate our food which was average (cuban) (pasta salad was awesome) but then decided to go for a walk downtown since we walked 30 min on a date specifically to get ice cream here. We asked (when do you close and we're told 5 o'clock on Sunday. We came back at 4:35 and had the doors locked in our face. Nobody came to the door as more customers pulled up. Needless to say it was bad enough to get me to write this....I never complain...ever... walking date ruined 👎

We were the only customers in the place. My husband had to say his order 4 times, it was a single scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone, not anything intricate. He was served his ice cream in a busted cone. The single scoop didn’t even reach the top of the cone! I ordered mine, my cone was fine but my ice cream didn’t come to the top of the cone either! The ice cream tasted fine, the waffle cone nothing impressive. Quite disappointed.

Great old Tyme deli atmosphere. Delicious hand dipped ice cream. Great employees.Not the cleanest sandwich make board, it’s supposed to be WHITE! Use bleach and a scrub brush! Dawn and a scrub brush!!

I ordered from GrubHub the Cuban had a very good taste but just not the authentic Cuban I usually get. I ordered a Xtra potato salad but did not get it.but that's ok that happens alot with delivery . I have to say they made my Cuban as I asked so at least they read the notes most companies don't bother . I hear so many good comments on this place and maybe if I would have went in to eat instead of delivery maybe it would be the Cuban I expect but overall still a 5 out of 5Give the place a try

Adorable little ice cream shop and deli. The Reuben was amazing (as was the bite of my friend's Cuban hehe) miss Z gives the best service! So friendly and welcoming & KIND! You gotta stop here and give it a try!

I’ve never been here before and was greeted with a big smile from Ms Z. While I waited for my Cuban sandwich she offered a sample of soup which was delicious. My Cuban was also very good. I will definitely be back!
