Food was okay. Home fries were undercooked. Never seen sausage gravy that had a red tinge to it. Went for breakfast. Nothing spectacular. This place definitely needs a remodel. Smells musty like the air conditioning system needs a good cleaning. It’s old looking and the the rugs are less then to be desired. The peanut brittle they sell near the register was delicious the best part.

Stopped on my roadtrip southward for a late lunch at the first place I saw that looked decent. After perusing the menu, chose their $12 all-you-can eat buffet. Food was decent--- nothing fancy. Salad fixings were fresh. Fried chicken was tender, albeit heavily-breaded. Sliced beef seemed decent, but nothing special. Food was certainly filling.There was a sense of friendly, southern country, salt 'n pepper grey-haired down-homey-ness in the service and atmosphere at Dixie Diner, 😁

If you like small diners, this a a great little spot to eat. We had the breakfast buffet and it was good. They also offered a menu. The waitress was very kind & attentive! We will stop back by if ever that way again!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in, some areas inside might be a little more difficult, but there was a guest dining in an electric wheelchair chair.

If you want some good hometown cookingI highly recommend the Dixie diner. Their buffet Was small but it had everything on it. The small donuts they serve should be illegal because they were so good. The banana pudding was excellent. The salad was cold and fresh and the fried chicken was wonderful. Youwill not go away hungry. The buffet runs around 13.00 and they have a regular menu too if you do not want the Buffet.

What a gem!! Old world charm, home-style cooking, and friendly hospitality! Nothing fancy, but a local favorite! We are from Minnesota and try to stop on our way home from southern Florida if possible. This is our 3rd time here in about 6 years and even some of the same staff are still working there. Eat the buffet! Quaint salad Bar with old-time favorites such as Iceberg Lettuce, cottage cheese, cheese, black olives, cucs, tomatoes, coleslaw, Peaches, vanilla pudding, croutons, etc. Hot cooked food included heaping piles of delicious fried chicken, pork, beef tips in gravy, mashed potatoes, cheesy potatoes, collard greens, lima beans with bacon, rice with black beans, steamed cabbage, steamed mixed veggies, corn, sweet cornbread, fried dough with sugar, Peach cobbler, and pineapple upside-down cake!! Did I miss something? Probably!! Forgot to take pictures, but if you are hungry for southern cooking like grandma, stop by. You will not be disappointed!

I've heard so many people rave over Taste of Dixie Diner. I, for one, found it lacking in flavor and overall appearance. Maybe I went wrong by ordering off the menu instead of doing the hot bar. I will say the small salad bar was rather nice other than the two salad dressing options, ranch or oil & vinegar. The service was pretty spectacular. We were greeted immediately upon entering and had a server at our table within seconds. Our drinks stayed full, and we were checked on frequently enough to not feel forgotten.

Got breakfast buffet and a coke was charged$18.53. Asked for recipe. Gave me a hand written one. Called in parking lot asked how much. I should have been charged $14 and change. Went back in and no record of my transaction. The waitress told me I wasn’t going to get the different back!! Only the tip I left was offered back.

Great service, food and prices to go along with it. For the price of fast food you can have fresh food. The shrimp are fresh and the club was amazing. I didn't catch the waitress name but when you feel at home it doesn't matter.

Nice old fashion Diner, did the seafood buffet, a little pricey at $17.00 all fried foods, fish, shrimp, hushpuppy, scallops, and for those of you who read my posts, the Coleslaw was super good. As you also know I do rant about restrooms, and this looks like original really needs update, all in all pretty nice place, seem like everyone knows everyone staff greets customers by name!!! They were non stopped action all night.

Sign outside says carriage in little confusing. Dixie diner on the building. Older building,nothing fancy. Awesome food fried chicken,collard green yum and I am from the north. Pork tender. You can do buffet or oder off the menu. Will go again as I now live about an hour from hereParking: Plenty

A great place for REAL COUNTRY STYLE food, EXCELLENT FOOD with REAL sweet tea. Great friendly staff that treats you like family. Their buffet changes daily so you'll want to check ahead. But everything is kept piping hot... Great for food taste and safety.... Never any issues in many visits.... A little more than "fast food" but well worth it. Offering a great value. I highly recommend that you give them a try.
