I shop at Save-A-Lot a lot and have always been happy but sadly today I'm very disappointed and please forgive me if you feel I'm out of place place with this. Today when I was in there the two women working there were in a big conversation and as she was ringing up my groceries I set one 12 pack of soda on the counter and told her I had two. She was so busy in her conversation she did not acknowledge me. When I told her a second time she snapped at me and told me she got it. I told her I had a case of water again she was so busy in her conversation she did not acknowledge me so I didn't say anything a second time cuz I didn't want to get snapped at again. Shortly after the other lady come walking by and acted like I was trying to steal the water and ask her if she got the water. Forgive me but I feel as a customer when you're ringing up my groceries and collecting my money you should at least pay attention and acknowledge me. It's just very disappointing to be treated like as a customer I mean absolutely nothing to you all. I totally understand people having conversations but when you're doing customer service you got to at least be willing to pay halfway attention to the customer. If you all don't feel customer service is important maybe I should shop somewhere else🤷‍♂️

Their meat always looks so good, for great prices. Their fresh produce is also great quality. The employees are always kind and make an effort for small talk, something you don't see at a lot of places anymore. The little, "how's your day?" goes a long way. Love this place.

Prices were generally high. Only went for a few things. Checkout was a nightmare. Tried no less than 5 times and my bank card was constantly rejected. (tried 3 different cards) Cashier said card reader has been acting up all day...here's a thought FIX IT!I'll never return............

Just love this store, prices are always reasonable... I feel the meat prices are better than anyone else. Have always gotten quality meat their. The layout of the store is nice to, just go down the line & bang bang ur done.

I have to say, Save A Lot has always been in the low end of grocery stores. They are making a come back with the remarketing. This store is nicely stocked with brand name items and fairly organized and clean with wonderful people working there. The bathrooms could use a good squeegee, hence the 4 🤩

I drive all the way from branford to go to this supermarket! They supply so much variety of food, it may not be name brand but you will find what you are looking for and for way cheaper than other supermarkets. Then to top it off the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to talk to you and the store is always clean what more can you ask for.

Love this store in Cross City, I visit a couple of times a week. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Jenn has been my cashier the last couple of times and she is such a ray of light...what a blessing! The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because the quality of fruit could improve. Everything else is spot on.*God bless

Good prices on meat. Weak selection on most everything else. Pineapples were sad. Bread was real expensive. Eggs were a good deal. Cashier was friendly.

I love the quick in and out visits to this store, just wish they were open until 9pm since everything else in the area also closes early.

Love SaveALot store. It is usually not crowded and their prices are decent. They don't have special diet products available very often if at all such as gluten free, no salt added, nonfat, no or low cholesterol.

Hey, I'm a local of 29 years,I knew this place back when it was a Piggly wiggly, I have some memories in this little plaza, anyway, lately I've noticed something, the meats have gotten better! It's very neat,clean, and organized with a superb selection. All of the meats I've purchased have been excellent! It's all well cut and packaged and there is no lack of customer service! the butcher is really nice and very on-point. He always lets me know what deals are upcoming and helps me locate my husband when he strays from while shopping(lol)Another thing I noticed is the new store arrangement. Its really a great deal better than before!much easier, thanks yall!,Amanda Wright

Always liked shopping at Save a Lots until lately. It seems here lately their always changing the products in the store from one place to another. And now when I went in there the other day they had a big mess. Moving products all over the place. Can't hardly find anything and it's getting to where they are changing brands and don't carry near the stuff they usest to. What's up with that? Also they moved all the cleaning stuff like soap, laundry soap, bleach and other cleaning items right next to the frozen isle. How messed up is that. This is the worst I've ever seen this store. It's getting to where I don't even care to shop there anymore. It would be easier to just go next door to Walmart and shop. The prices might be a few cents more but at least I can find the items I'm looking for without looking all over the store or having to find a manager to ask because the employees don't know where things have been moved to and that's only because they are constantly moving stuff.

This place has a great organization layout that makes getting what you're looking for easier and also the way you load the cart as you move through the store is smart and you can keep your items in order by produce, cold items, can goods, dry goods, then things like breads and chips that can be fragile to bagging and transporting. Handy isles with sets of relative items too.the staff are awesome and fun.makes me want a job there!
