The adoption lady was not friendly she wanted to dominate how you felt and what you wanted to do. We introduced our dog, she didn’t growl or show her teeth or anything and they didn’t want us to adopt a dog because she thought it wasn’t meant. They put her our dog in a high stress situation with meeting the other dog with a cat and bird and just wanted to dominate everything you did. They made us even come back in after only see the pups for a few minutes. We will adopt from somewhere else and I will not recommend adopting from here. Puff your chest at someone else and make them feel weird adopting another dog. Super unprofessional telling us what we need to do and what not to do.Just an update, we got a dog from another rescue and wow our dog is so aggressive and vicious. Y’all need to get a need manager who acts like they don’t know everything. Place stinks.

Nasty vindictive people. Who when called RUDE told me I was verbally attacking staff thru email. So they canceled my dogs appointments. My dog has 13 puppies at a time, they call them selves and ANIMAL RESCUE and would rather my dogs not get fixed cause i called them out on thier nasty manners. Similar reviews on these people are on here. SICKENING like thier nasty office smells. (Vinegar gets rid of animal waste smells since yall are so smart)

Rude nasty women who talk like I'm dumb and can't do math. Clearly the animals or putnam countyvarent more important than their fragile feelings.When I asked what anyone gained from them refunding my money they yelled and hung up. Not sure what kind of business succeeds on ego rather than logic.

Hard to reach anyone. Prices have continued to increase by 5 dollars or more every couple visits even when it's just a maintenance visit requiring maybe a little trimming in a couple places for sight and hygiene purposes. Still required to stand outside in heat and/or rain until someone comes to the door and have waited over 5 mins looking at an employee sitting at the counter and another employee talking to them. Noone explains any (frequent) increase for repeat services or brings me any change when paying no matter the amount and I have always tipped well I just want to choose the amount because I might think it is too little or too much. I don't think any of it is on purpose but just normal for people that love animals with everything in them but humans not so much. That being said they are amazing with animals. My very picky dog loves them apparently because he doesn't freak out when I take him or when I drop him off and leave and he's happy when I pick him up and that's all rare. They even clipped my sugar gliders nails successfully despite him going psycho ninja on them.

Don't bother trying to drop off stray kitten. They are all Full. Humans do need to be more responsible for their Animals. But if catch a Feral Cat don't bother.

Adopted Fred after he was at shelter for3 years. He has been with his 2 boxer sisters for about 8 months now an totally a different boy. He is loving, well adjusted and the proud older brother of 2 little kittens. He snuggles with the entire family. Thank you for saving him. He was just waiting for us to be his family!!

They really do help the animals. People just keep dumping off their unwanted animals, which is the wrong thing to do. They only have so much room. 😪

I have never adopted a cat/kitten before and this place is almost impossible to get in contact with. I called and left them a voice message as I had questions about a particular kitten and adoption in general. I never got a call back but I got a text message telling me to send them an email. So against my better judgement I send them an email with my questions and get no response for days, Once they do response they email an application for adoption.... again my questions were not answered. I complete the application which I needed to include references, for what I don't know. Days go by and no call or nothing by this point I gave up. They called my references they called my apartment complex (The pet policy is online) but never called me. At this point I was just over this whole process. I get an EMAIL telling me that the kitten that I was interested has been adopted which was fine but why did it take so long and all these hoops to jump through to get that information. 0/10 wouldn't recommend.

Untrained aggressive 10 mo old 60lb puppy. I took her back and gave them my review and they said "we have two other couples who want her" I hope that poor puppy finds a home that can train her properly.

Affordable boarding and grooming for your pet... adoption services great services and even better people working there... our dogs love going to be bathed and we boarded our 2 shepherds there and they were treated like royalty... highly recommend if you want to let your pets know you care this is where you want to take them...

Can't even rate then. All this jumping thru hoops to give an animal a 4ever home has went completely over the edge. Ridiculous.... pushed me towards a breeder I felt good about. Sad state of affairs .....Only reason I even gave 1star is because in order 2post I had 2pick 1.

This place closes at 2 not 4 at least the workers leave at 2 and then the maintenance guy takes over is there till 4, their hours are misleading
