My older dog was expelled from petco because Casey- the new manager feels that due to his age he needs VIP treatment and that he doesn’t have time nor patience for my dog. Wanted to point out that they stopped grooming as well my big dog because he is too big 😡 all of the changes happen after the recent new management. Casey is also rude and unfriendly. Stay away from them.

Very disappointed. Only decided to go there because my cat was dealing with back problems and I didn’t want him to suffer while waiting to go to his regular vet. Vetco Coral Springs had decent reviews. I went online and scheduled an appointment. Minutes later received an email confirmation. Great. About an hour later I get a text message from them confirming the appointment but an hour later - for 2:30 pm. I thought perhaps daylight savings time was confusing things so I called the business. No answer. I call again and am immediately placed on hold without even a hello. So while I’m on hold I call the business using my cell phone. The phone rings until voicemail and I’m still on hold on the other phone I hang up both phones and call Petco. A manager answers and I tell him what’s going on and ask if anyone is at Vetco. He walks over and a woman answers the phone. I explain what’s going on and she says “Your appointment has always been at 2:30 - ever since I walked in.” I told her I had an email confirmation for 1:30 and wanted to know how did the time change. She said she didn’t know it had always been at 2:30. I tell her that’s not really acceptable bc we had to make arrangements for 1:30 and now they’ve pushed it back until 2:30…. She hung up on me. I live three minutes away. So I drive there. A woman comes to the desk and I tell her I’m trying to confirm my vet appointment since I couldn’t do it before she hung up on me. (She has dreads and tattoos on her face.). She confirms my appt. Then walks to the back and “Grrrrrrs” behind a closed door. We come to the 2:30 appointment We we’re there for two hours and all they did was give my cat an injection of pain meds - no blood work, no X-rays. We leave with pain meds. This was Sunday. Today (Saturday) almost a week later, I sit at an ER with my cat bc as soon as the pain meds wore off after three days, his gait became worse. $1600 is my bill - thankfully we have pet insurance. And I pray that the situation with my cat is worse after a week. I am not pleased at all. Vetco didn’t thoroughly check out my pet. Did not diagnose before medicating him. I would not take my animal there ever again.

Always try to gontjere on a Sunday afternoon. And it seems like for the last few times we've tried to go bath our dog the pet grooming station is closed at like 4pm when the stores isn't even close to closing. Making it rather inconvenient for customers. Seems like no one wants to clean the dog grooming station at the end of the day so they do it at like 4pm.

The cashiers are always amazing but they have sand inside of the Bearded Dragon tanks which could be fatal
