The staff here are amazing. Let’s get that out of the way….always super friendly and as helpful as possible.But, on THREE recent occasions I’ve driven 40 minutes here for something they “have in stock” according to their website.Today was the worst. I ordered a lawn mower, which the website says “ready in 15 minutes.”I get here about an hour and a half later and they tell me they haven’t gotten the order but definitely have it in stock. After calling customer service, there’s a hold on it for verification since it’s a large transaction. I was informed that should be cleared within 2-3 hours and will definitely be good to go before they close.So I waited around Clewiston for 2 hours. The order was cancelled with no explanation. So I go in to just buy it at the register.Now, even though they confirm it shows in stock, no one can find it.So even if the online order hadn’t been cancelled….I still wouldn’t have gotten it. I wasted over four hours on this ordeal. This is a complete joke. And it’s a shame, because this place has the best customer service and general selection of anywhere in the area. But I can never actually trust it to have what I need ever again.

Avoid at all cost. I will definitely be driving to LOWES or Home Depot from now on. We used to spend what we consider a fair amount of money at the store. But our last experience will be our last time shopping here. We had over 50.00 available in points but we could not use them. The cashier said well I don’t know you can’t use them. We were trying to purchase a grill that had some small damage. Manager offered a discount on the grill due to the damage but they would not allow us to use our points for the purchase. It all seems so silly that we said never mind I’ll buy it elsewhere and that’s what we will do.

They gave me really hard time because I didn't have my receipt. I purchase hundreds of dollars a week from them I didn't want my money back I just wanted to use the credit for some other things I needed I making a travel trailer need to be purchasing different things and sometimes they don't work out for what I need I will make sure I only go back if I don't have any other choice.

Extremely unprofessional, I simply ask for industrial grade hose and they pointed me to the water hose isle. when they clearly have a wall full of industrial grade hoses . I asked for a size that they only had up top out of reach . Same worker that pointed me to the wrong isles said the same hose is on the rollers . She was wrong so she had to work so so hard to grab a ladder to bring it down . Guess what they didn’t have any tools to cut the hose how unprofessional . She came back with a saw and made me cut it , if I’m not wrong you are not allowed to do that . At check she couldn’t find the price . I told her It was $4.59 a foot so she put $5 because typing 2 more number must be extremely difficult for her intelligence. Last but not least she put 9 feet when we both clearly counted 8 feet so she rolled her eyes and said whatever you want .Well maybe you should go work at home depot where you might just fit right in .

Friendly staff. Great to hear greetings while entering and there's usually someone who asks if you need help with something. 3.5 (if I could) stars more recently because twice I've gone in to purchase something that said in stock at this store and product was nowhere to be found. Employee confirmed internet stock count not accurate.Other than picking up soil will probably order online and save time for anything I might really need in the future

Made two trips; the first was for water softener salt. Perfect ! The second was for a rubber " O " ring. The bins are all mixed-up. I was shuffling through them for 15 minutes and feel lucky that there was one that fit. Spend some time and straighten them up. Thanks.

I came here looking for handles for a heavy case. I was thrilled that they had the exact type of handles that I was looking for. However, I needed help to improve the installation hardware for my usage scenario.I was really impressed with Charles, the gentleman who helped me. He listened to what I wanted to accomplish and took the time to find better hardware that would work with the handles that I found.Employees like Charles are the reason I love going to an Ace Hardware. I can count on Ace to have knowledgeable people who know where and what things are.Thank you!

I walked in to get two of my propane tanks refilled and needed someone paged. I walked to the front counter right in front of three young employees there working and never got an aknoledgement I was even there. Finally, another employee walked by and asked if I needed help and was very helpful. As an employee you should be expected to help customers and not discriminate and ignore someone. Social time can wait until after work or break time. A+ effort on the employee who was helpful as I am sure they were doing most of the work and carrying the store.

Called earlier to confirm the closing time since I live 30 minutes away. I drove all this way since I was told they closed at 7 only to find out they “closed early” and cannot sell anything else after 6:45 when we were here at 6:47. I think it’s disrespectful to the customer since I could’ve been told about the 15min early closure ahead of time when I called and spoke to a store rep. Whats the point in having hours of operations posted online and for us to call ahead of time if we wont be able to buy anything?! Def not returning here ever again. The store staff gave us attitude when confronted about the store hours online and at the door.

In the world of big box stores where no one could help you I happen to be in this part of the state of Florida and needed help. This is one of the most helpful hardware stores that have ever been in. The people were pleasant knowledgeable and could not help enough. I don't know if I'll ever be in that part of the state again but if I am I will definitely stop there
