I recently visited Twistee Treat in Clermont, located conveniently by Kings Ridge, and it was an absolute delight. The main purpose of my visit was to spend some quality time with my son after a notary signing where he was my witness, and this charming ice cream spot provided the perfect setting for it.My son chose the vanilla sprinkle-covered soft serve, which was not only visually appealing but also delicious. The ice cream was creamy and flavorful, with the perfect balance of sweetness that brought smiles all around.The employees at Twistee Treat deserve a special mention. They were genuinely nice and welcoming, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Their friendly service made us feel at home and contributed to the memorable moments I shared with my son.The ambiance of Twistee Treat, with its iconic ice-cream-cone-shaped building, creates a fun and inviting atmosphere. Never thought I’d write a 1-star review for Twistee Treat…but here we are. I’ve been coming here for years and always been happy with this place; however today we went to the window and I ordered a medium chocolate twirl with Heath Bar and the Heath Bar was VERY stale. It made the entire twirl taste bad and I didn’t even want it. I went up to the window and told the girl working there, and even after explaining that it did not taste right, not like the same order I’ve had for years, she said “sorry, you’ll have to pay for a new one and there’s nothing I can do”. Terrible customer service! If you get spoiled/bad/old food at any restaurant, you should be able to get a replacement as you should not have to pay for bad food. I am truly shocked and disappointed in my local Twistee Treat and will be going to different locations in the future.

It’s all good really - but think that it’s also a bit of hype - Not sure cones on a hot humid day is not really a big deal or is it - got the hard shell and it made it even messer than ahhhh - maybe my fault sort of. Felt rushed at the speaker with bright truck lights behind me - even taking photos of the place was a hassle- it was far to busy for the ice cream to be that good- the location is cute though and begs to be visited - not as excited as everyone else though.

Caitlyn S. did an incredible job today! She was working completely by herself, yet handled the crowd like a pro! Very little wait, great prices, super friendly service, and the order was made perfectly. Once the crowd diminished, she began cleaning up and continued working diligently! A+! I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Caitlyn for making our trip to Twistee Treat a special one! They should be honored to have you as a team member!

The quality at this location was definitely better then others I have been too. However, the attitude of the girl at the window was very clear that she was not happy that we showed up 20min before their closing. She said that we need to put our order in now because they need to get the icecream made before they close and clean up. I saw about 5 cars go thru the drive thru after I ordered up until they closed so I wonder if they had the same wonder experience as me.

They have the best ice cream. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable as well. If it is not scorching hot outside (it is Florida, so...) , there are tables with umbrellas for you to sit and enjoy your ice cream, sundae, shake. This is my go-to for my simple favorite- vanilla with extra rainbow sprinkles in a cup!😋🍦😎

Very clean. Super nice people working there. Looked like it was closed because there is no sign lit up out front but the girl told me they are open until 10. Got a cone dipped in oreo dust and it was delicious!

Updated review...second time around the young lady handed me a lopsided icecream cone, super sloppy. To me, presentation is everything..I pointed out to her that it was going to fall over..she said "I promise it wont". Needless to say, right after driving off it tipped over and we had a nice mess in the car ( we went through the drive through).My boyfriend also bought a cheesecake sundae I believe thats what it's called..The cheesecakes pieces tasted old, can't even explain the taste but it was awful.

The worst chocolate malt milkshake I have ever had. They put extra chocolate syrup in and it was uber thick. All the twistee treats I have been to never have I ever. So thick after i took a sip it left me thirsty. Couldn't drink it $4.49 to the trash! I'll stick to my normal spot with Connor at the twistee treat in Davenport!

EDIT AVAILABLE AT THE BOTTOM Twistee ice cream is great-just reviewing on this particular location. They always mess something up, and I’m honestly tired of it, especially with these prices. $6.72 for a large hot fudge sundae extra hot fudge and they don’t even fill the cup up all of the way. Gave me half a cup full. ridiculous. With prices like these, you should at least fill up the cup.Girl then forgot to charge for an extra sundae, and wouldn’t give me the other (that she already made) until we gave her our card to charge again. What horrible customer service. If you forget to ring it up, that’s not my fault. The attitude she gave was also atrocious. Not sure how she still works there.EDIT: shortly after posting this, the management reached out to me via email and rectified the situation. For this, I have returned the stars taken away.

Amazing!! My favorite thing to get is chocate ice cream with liquid marshallow on top. I told the dude at the counter and he was so great and absolutely FILLED that thing with marshmallow!! Awesome staff!!

I took a very long time to get our ice cream and it wasn't exactly what we ordered. The girl taking the order, was American, but didn't seem to understand English, she repeated questions for all 3 of us several times. We recently bought a place nearby and I won't be going back, I can't speak for the other 2 I was with.

This place is usually really reliable. Today they have a sign by the speaker that let's you know they are under staffed. We did an order and all three items were not done with care. The milkshake was supposed to be with peanut butter and Malt and it basically tasted like a Vanilla Shake with a hint of everything else. The medium sundae with sprinkles had minimal sprinkles on top and was only filled a quarter of the cup. The Root beer float which we asked to go with the can of root beer. The cup was filled with less than half the vanilla ice cream and the root beer can was warm. I was really surprised and I will just write that maybe it was because they were short with staff and I will try them again later this week and see if they do this again. One out of about 125 times I have been there is not bad. They have always had good, wholesome, customer service and quality soft serve but today the ice cream was not served correctly and they forgot the spoon, napkins, and the lid for the root beer float. I will be back.

This Twistee Treat is very good. I ordered a small size cup vanilla and received so much ice cream that I thought they made a mistake. The vanilla flavor was excellent. Will be going again soon. Try it you wont be disappointed.

Went for ice cream with my niece. She had a kiddie size and I had a small and we couldn't finish them. The ice cream was delicious and very good value.
