This place is well stocked with an array of different cultural food. The problem was my checkout experience. There were staff members openly eating French fries at the front desk as well as open package of French fries on the cashiers line. No manager or any type of supervision noticed. It was very unprofessional.

I’ve been shopping at Keyfood for years starting from New York and when I moved to Florida I was happy to locate this chain of supermarket again. I travel all the way from Davenport to purchase my fruits and vegetables from this location and on a number of occasions noticed the blatant act of racism each time but, today was the worst. The girl actually got in my face and told me it was her job and I totally believe her. Needless, to say I will never spend my hard earned money at Key food supermarket again and I will make sure that everyone knows of your discriminatory policy as well.

I was shopping around for Fenugreek seeds..called this store a staff member told me it was in stock, when I arrived and asked which isle I can find it everyone was confused and informed me they didn’t know what it was… showed the manager a pic of the herb per her request and informed her I was told they had it in stock. Long story short… they didn’t! However this store has great food and prices! I give 4 stars bc it was worth the visit! And the yuca/ tuna salad was good 😊

I always find all my Latin food ingredients but i especially love the produce section. Great cooked food when you’re in a hurry and their cafe con leche ROCKS!! Love their empanadas 👍

Woo wow you can find foods from Colombia Venezuelan Mexico P.R and D.R and I think just about all the Latin countries….great variety of veggies fruits meats…clean and friendly employees

Great prices on meat, chicken, fruits and veggies. Wine and beer a little over priced in comparison to other nearby stores like walmart. Store too small for the amount of people buying food at the time we were there.

Had a lot of unique Venezuelan items. We enjoyed the queso de mano and cachapas. I had a bad accident and broke 2 maltas at the store. They were concerned with me and not the lost product. They didnt charge me for the accident, for that alone they get 5 stars. Also found a small round gouda cheese that my wife and I had looked for at various other stores without luck.

Went for lunch. Got baked chicken black beans & pigeon peas rice with macaroni salad . Went to divide my portion up and when I opened the container and started to pour out the macaroni, i saw thin glistening thing and I thought it was seasoning or something but it was a string of hair , brown hair to be exact. I got grossed out & just threw everything away. Waste $8.99. They need to be more mindful when preparing and serving because I almost ate someone’s disgusting hair. I was so disgusted.

I love shopping at Key Food supermarket and I have to say for the most part everyone is friendly and always helpful. On a different note, it is disappointing when you go in an hour after opening and the pastries section is almost empty when you're expecting to get something for breakfast. In addition, when I inquired about an item to be bluntly told "No" without so much of an explanation is very distasteful and I'm not referring to the ladies working there.In my opinion, every pastry and breakfast items should already be prepared and ready before the store opens to avoid disappointments and lost of sale.Nevertheless, I will continue shopping there because it is the only store that sell Pan Sobao, which we love so much with coffee. Customer service should always be top notch for every business, especially repeat business.

Very disappointed with the service today. I try to be a very reasonable consumer as I have worked retail and know how it should be done but I feel this is worth noting. I was in line at the deli to order lunch. There were two people in line, the store manager and myself. As the store manager ordered his food I browsed the selection so I would be ready. Four employees were present helping the manager and when it was my turn I was ignored and the staff left. I was not greeted or addressed the entire time I was at the deli counter, although staff were directly across the counter from me. I was not served by any staff including the manager, so I left. There are other local options for this type of food and those places are happy to have you. Check out El Cerro or Papi Pincho's.

Great meat and prices in some staff but also the don’t take care of the frozen products that much and you can see food in bad condition. The staff are not friendly or nice, they just go to work, they don’t even say a hello or have a good day, they have neutral face when you go to pay that it doesn’t make you feel welcome.

Today on the 4/12 I went to the self checkout,the lady giving me attitudes, when I ask her what's wrong? she told me she doesn't speak English, like it's my problem.I do look like Spanish, but I do not have to speak Spanish to anyone to give you business. So I will reduce my trip from key food from now one. So many young people in Clermont who can speak both languages why not give them the job.

Great place to shop at great prices not a bad selection of foods but there’s no reason why the deli has to close an hour before the store Publix’s closes their deli when the store close and the cashiers definitely need to pay attention to what they’re doing when ringing up and bagging the groceries

Always great Latin American ingredients found here. Excellent hot coffee, bakery, and hot food. You definitely will find everything from Latin American food, pots and pans, candy, drinks, fresh produce, to live plants and alcohol in one place. I highly recommend you visiting this place. Staff is always friendly and you will meet people while ordering coffee from all over the world. A couple of weeks ago I met this nice Latin American older vet from the Vietnam War and we had a small discussion about life and I ended buying him his coffee, "it was my pleasure and Thank you for your service and being one of nicest people I have met"Update: went there again today and the experience and the quality of items that are fresh is quality. The customer service is very refreshing from the Manager to the register people that work there. I highly recommend.

The store is now called a Key Food.. It would be a gold mine for people looking for Spanish food because of the great selection. My interaction with the employees was very good.I would certainly recommend this store to a specialty items.

Hard to fairly rate this hidden gem. As a supermarket it’s clean, looks beaten up, but it serves its community very well. It’s a great lunch spot with a hot selection of daily food that can be purchased as a meal or Ala Carte. I wont rate it at least a 4 because it always looks beat up. They are always in stock of things long past other supermarkets. Other than that it should get a 6 for how friendly the staff is. Great people.

Key foods supermarket in Clermont is well kept the staff is nice and they are quick to help. Let me not even start with about the hot food line. Yummy nice fresh and convenient when you're on the run. I will keep going there as long I'm in Clermont thank you guys.

My experience here started off pleasant due to the cleanliness and organization of the store. Although my first impression walking in was great I noticed immediately how horrible the service was for non-Hispanic customers not only did I not receive any assistance at the register, but I was told to move from a regular register with a full basket to self check out to accommodate a conversation between two customers in the front of the line. I decided to not say anything considering I was on my way out. In their very small parking lot backing out a ONE way I was hit from behind. Two employees came out one of them banged on my window and tried to tell me to move my car while waiting for the police, ( fyi you are not supposed to move your vehicle after an accident until the police arrive) they where very rude insensitive and caught several attitudes. I was assured by a police officer and TWO key food’s managers that key foods would be able to recover the footage since it is considered as evidence. As I walked back in the store to obtain the video one young lady was nice enough to finally assist me and brought me to one of the managers who first told me she would be able to give it to me if I had the exact time and date it happened so I gave her all the information to look for the incident, came back and showed it to me to confirm. She said she would give me a copy and went back in the room for about five min. She came back out with a completely different story saying she would not be able to give it to me anymore due to them not wanting to be held liable for the accident. As I started to question her as to why I wasn’t able to have the video evidence I immediately was surrounded by other employees which was very uncomfortable to experience. I have been to this location before but this by far has been the worst experience so far so unprofessionally biased and distasteful considering I spend a lot of money here I will not be returning to this location. Very unfortunate to experience how segregated people will behave and treat you as less simply because of skin color. Hopefully no one els has to experience this at this location god bless.🙏🏾
