RANT : Clermont Goodwill.I stopped going to the Winter Garden Goodwill location months ago. They started almost DOUBLING their prices, which is just insane to me. So I kept going to the Clermont location instead.Unfortunately over the past couple of weeks, I have noticed that they are switching to the same outrageous prices as Winter Garden. And these are not even nice items! Clothing with stains, ripped decals, holes… I’m sorry $5.99 for a toddler pajama top?! Not the pajama set, just a random top?I used to donate to this location since it’s the closest to my home. I will be making the extra drive to Unforsaken Treasures or New Beginnings, because they are not greedy and actually have their donations profiting for a good cause.

Nice clean store. Lots of clothes. Their changing rooms are open. Everyone is raising prices. The furniture is high priced. They are very busy. The line to checkout was long but moving. Nice to know about this store.

I picked an item it was a rare glass beaded fertility doll made by hand now I found it no price in the toy section. I was apparently followed by an associate the whole time after getting this doll to the register.. about an hr shopping, cashier is with this associate points at me then walks away...60 bucks he says...?? How did you get that price I asked he said from her this person friggin followed me and apparently wanted this item for herself maybe? 60 bucks not marked...very suspicious to me I would be cautious in this store indeed.

Used to come to this goodwill and spend a lot of money until i came back and saw they took away the fitting rooms! Not worth it at all to thrift overpriced clothing here if I don’t even know if it’s going to fit me! I had a cart full of things I ended up leaving.

The staff was rude and sassy when I was dropping off donated items, lesson learned I will no longer donate here - go to St. Vincents or New Beginnings where the staff is actually friendly and appreciative.

Great turnover of items so there's something new every week. I especially like checking out the CDs and DVDs, which are varied and pretty cheap. Friendly staff, fairly efficient checkout, plenty of parking.

I've never had an issue here, however I give it 4 stars because their pricing is so high. They are charging never before used new item prices for donated, used items. I miss when 2 years ago you could buy a womens shirt for $4.

1st time there and haven't been back since though I would like to. It is such a big location. I instantly felt overwhelmed by how much product. I was shopping with family. Not a good place to bring your Lil ones atleast not for your first experience there. Was very busy as well

This store is large and has a lot of great selections. It’s always busy, but not overwhelming. They took away the dressing rooms due to a lot of theft, but they have a return policy. One thing that is helpful is that they always have a lot of cashiers, so the line moves efficiently.

No fitting rooms?! I use to love this location, but today I came in and after gathering about 10 items of clothing that looked interesting, I was told there are no more fitting rooms. If something doesn't fit, you have 3 days to come in and EXCHANGE. Bad form, Goodwill. Bad form.

Pricing here is over the top. Needed some long sleeve shirts for my husband to wear to orotect his arms due to dermatology procedures. 2 Shirts were from One Blood and other 3 used shirts, All priced 8.00. I love what you do, but still high priced.

Beware of this store if you have special needs! I was shopping with my family when I had to sit down. I admit I look about 20 years younger than my age of 67 and my back may not reflect the 12+ hours I spent on the operating table undergoing spinal re-alinement surgery but both are true and I simply cannot stand up without assistance for more than a few minutes. I won’t go into specifics but both times I tried to sit down I was rudely told that the chair I was sitting in “was for sale “ and I needed to move ( and the Goodwill associate never asked if I was interested in purchasing; she should have because I was!)I just wish Goodwill would stand by their name and teach associates at this store that ALL customers are different (physical challenges are not always noticeable) and that EVERYONE deserves a little respect and patience. Even people that don’t always look like they need help. I wish she had handled this situation differently.

I always wondered why their are very few items with the color of the week available. Come to find out that they remove those items and send them to the back during that week. Shaddy.I use to donate to Goodwill, but I stopped about two years ago. Their price have gone up. You can get the new item for the same price elsewhere. They get their inventory for free, hello. This location no longer has fitting rooms. Staff is very rude. Return policy is just three days.

Items there are pretty nice as would be expected for the area, but of course it varies on what people are willing to give here. The store however does have a strange layout, staff that don't want to talk to you, and make sure that you're not waiting for a waiting room for 10 minutes before 7:30 when they decide to close them much earlier than to store itself. As a working parent, it's good to know I need to be here sooner next time, and for go dinner with my kids so I can use the fitting room. One star for feeling like I inconvenience the staff by my presents and early closure of the fitting rooms (I was waiting for 10 minutes because they locked the ones that were not in use way before that leaving only 2 of the 6 open). That's not really nice to buy a bunch of clothes from a store where you can't bring them back if they don't fit, but you can't try them on either.

What kind of scam is this store running???? I have donated to goodwill for years and will never donate another item to them again. To the man and his crew that are resellers and there every single day (you know who you are) that stand where the carts come out and rudely block anyone from getting by or seeing new items coming out..shame on you. You ruin everyone else’s time trying to peacefully shop for items they need with your Google lens out screaming at each other. It’s VERY clear that certain employees are in on whatever gig he’s running. His 5 carts were blocking the area to get to the books and baskets and I heard him say people hate me but I don’t care. I asked the older woman who I have seen many times specifically bring things out to him.. if he’s there every day and why this is allowed and she told me to mind my own business!!!! I was there yesterday and he was there again w several carts full of Disney items and the older woman came out from the back with an office chair and went right over to him and said it’s priced at $25 but you can get more for it…he grabbed it and immediately took out Google lens..how is this fair to people shopping there that need items for their house, kids, family, etc?! Even worst is now they were more resellers doing the same thing he does so I couldn’t get down any houseware aisles bc all their carts were lined up. This is a disgusting display and should be absolutely banned by upper management but I’m going to assume that it’s allowed bc they get a cut or are in on the scam themselves. Shame..I donate items all the time and will never give goodwill a single dime again.

Only been there once so far to make some purchases, but will definitely make it a new semi-regular haunt. We had a larger than average cart, being overly excitable on our first visit and date out in awhile, and even had a larger furniture piece we purchased to boot. All of the staff we interacted with were extremely kind and helpful, the woman at the register was a hoot to talk to, and the young gentleman who helped load our furniture around back was eager and helpful. All around a super positive experience for our first time! We also scored what we think were some very nice finds for our home since we're still building our first home together.

Today I went in to basically window shop, needed to use the bathroom urgently I go in notice there’s no toilet paper. I had to ask for that it took two different people to acknowledge me. Also, there was water all over the floor and #2 on some of the toilet tissue that was already in there, toilets were nasty. I didn’t even want to look around/shop after I got out. Left immediately.

Two stars because it is a clean store. Minus three stars for the prices. $40 and $50 for used shoes is not ok. And those weren’t even the ones behind the counter. Left with nothing.

Compared to other thrift stores, the prices are higher on this one. The customer service when you call or in the store is not very friendly. Occasionally you might find something that is worth it but I would visit The Mission Thrift or other ones in Clermont for a better bargain and much more friendly faces.

The store is clean a full of stuff.. employees are nice and very busy. . But.....It's surprisingly expensive store🤔 I have been looking for Halloween costume and I found one for $8 there but didn't buy it. Then I went to different thrift store and found the same costume for $4. 🤷‍♀️ But I still like the store because it's huge! I bet you can find good deals there.

There's never enough cashiers. The last few times, I have waited between 20-30 mins to check out. Prices are also very high for a thrift store. A lot of dollar store items for $5!

This place is a scam, the prices are too high for used items you might as well buy brand new! plenty of places that do deals, or provide deals if you become a rewards member, they have no cost in inventory, then jack up prices when the main reason for the existence is to provide support for communities and people to afford clothing and other items at a well discounted price, the only people benefiting are the board members, bunch of rats.

I have been going here for years but have recently stopped after seeing the jacked up prices and they got rid of the fitting rooms. Their return policy is a joke. Tons of shein items priced even above shein prices, it's laughable. Stopped going and stopped donating.

I hadn't been here in a few years so I was surprised when I walked in and the size of the clothing section had tripled. As a thrifter, this place could be either a hit or miss. I was able to find some gems, but they were priced significantly higher than I've been able to get similar items at Goodwills just 2 years ago. One thing I was looking for was 80s/90s 100% cotton jeans, which I didn't really find here. This Goodwill mostly had higher end and 2000s pieces. Overall, good quality pieces but at higher prices than necessary.
