Associate Ashley is very rude. Has worked for company over 12 years and refused to price match even with it being company policy. Waited until I turned around to take off name tag like I didn't see it. Actions of someone guilty. Lots of items in store are stocked in the wrong spot. I spoke with the district manager. He was helpful and says he would resolve the issues. Don't let her do you like she did me. Unprofessional and very rude woman. Get your price match

Today marked a stark departure from the positive experiences I've come to expect during my visits to this store, courtesy of the "manager," Dereck. My regular trouble-free encounters abruptly shifted. Driven by various issues, I felt compelled to voice my concerns through this review. I've taken the step of officially filing a complaint with corporate, contemplating legal action due to the discriminatory treatment I endured.In my recent visit, involving an expenditure of around $100, challenges arose as the coupons failed to register correctly. Adding to the frustration, items I purchased earlier were mistakenly handed over to someone else by a Dollar General cashier. A review of my receipt on the way to my car revealed the improper application of coupons on my account.Despite Dereck's visible upset, seeking his manager’s assistance and guiding her through necessary changes, he refused to re-ring the items, dismissing the system's error. Emphasizing that it wasn't my fault, I insisted on having my items rung up accurately. However, Derek argued, asserting blamelessness. My plea was simple – I wanted my purchased items, irrespective of fault.During our conversation, Dereck's unprofessional behavior, stating he'd never return items due to coupon issues and his condescending tone, left me no choice but to leave without my money or purchased items. Given the debit card payment, the refund process taking a few days compounds the issue. The culmination of this, along with the incident of my items being given away by a Dollar General cashier, strongly suggests differential treatment based on my ethnic background. I'm incensed, feel utterly helpless, and find it hard to fathom being subjected to such treatment. Absent support, I am compelled to pursue legal action for (1) discriminatory treatment, (2) failure to abide by corporate policy, and (3) pain and suffering from embarrassment, witnessed by at least eight people, including Dollar General customers and employees. Urgently seeking someone to address these concerns and prevent further escalation.

Fun friendly people with great prices is nice time for any shopper, may your day seem that much better, when you know you saved a bunch from anywhere else.Prayingfor a big store has a price like anything does, just imagine what the electric bill is for a huge wearhouse, keeping it cool year round.Big store lots of cost that trickles down to you.

This particular store was messy, but the associate/cashier was very nice and polite. Customer service was great but the appearance of the store Definetly needs some work. Maybe it was a short staff day or even a delivery day. But even then no customer assistance on the sales floor.

This store is handy to pop into if you don't want to go to Walmart. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing I don't like is that the floors are not clean. But I have seen this in other DG stores too.

Customer service was awful.I was told by the cashier there was no more lids to the tub-aware bin I grabbed off the shelf ( stocked with 3 bins ) WITHOUT even looking in the back, or in the area I got the bin from.He then told me he would just find a lid from a different bin that might fit. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️It was as if I was literally talking to a wall.NOTHING had the right price tag underneath it either.This store has wayyyyy more potential with its location. Something just needs to be done about people working just for paychecks and not caring about the customer or the business.

All I went in for was cat food, and cookies.. I was in line waiting for a cashier to check me out . The line was getting longer, no one was around that worked there. I'm not sure if one of the customers in line went to get the lady or what, but finally she came to the register. Never apologized for making me stand in line for 30 minutes, just said"is that all?" The only reason I went to that store was because the other dollar store closed at 8 pm . Next time I will go to Dollar tree.

The gentleman that cashed me out was very friendly and helpful his name is Michael. He definitely was patient with all of my questions and helped me carry my stuff to my car!!! He definitely needs a promotion if you ask me!!

I need them to clean up out front! The store looks like it's set up in the hood! And the inside isn't any better. However, the staff is awesome which is the only reason they are getting 1 star.

Old store, but has been going through some improvements. Nice staff, excellent central location, usually well stocked and not crowded. Small space though (it's on a standard strip mall).

This store needs a lot of help with organizing and price labeling. You can easily shop without a large crowd but make sure to wear a coat because it's extremely cold in this store.

The one I visit the most is on Hywy 50 West if you are heading into Groveland but the store is in Clermont Fl 34711, they are a small store but a very well kept stocked, and they have a small storage room so they are always stocking and are very friendly even when they get new people in to work there, go visit the Clermont store I always get a $5.00 coupon on my register receipt every week that I use on Saturdays when you spend 25.00 dollars or more and most of the time if you don't have one they will see if someone left a receipt behind!!! Good luck!!!

Too cluttered. You can't make it down an aisle without running into merchandise and the store itself was dirty. Not the best dollar store in Clermont for sure
