Massive store with tons of various pet supplies. There is a whole aisle on one side full of pet food. A shelf stacked full of aging books. Lots of cages and aquariums for both display of critters and others for purchase. Worth a visit.

Jeremy is the best! He knows his pets! He’s walked me step by step through my new fish tank. Even replaced a fish that died free. He has a great humor. He’s very helpful and explains everything. I love this little mom and pop pet store so much!! My tank has gotten better. Fish are well. Any needs or concerns Jeremy- Jose and Steve are there to help out. These guys are so amazing- best place for pets in town. I believe in mom and pop stores rather than big box. Check this place out!

This pet store is an ICON in Clearwater! I remember buying fish there when I was a girl in the 70s!! The owners are friendly, animal loving and helpful. Give this little shop a try for your pet's needs and support this independently owned business.

There were flies all over the animals and water all over the floor from the leaking aquariums. I actually feel bad for the animals in here. The only thing nice was the axolotl room, but that shouldn’t be at the expense of the rest of the store’s condition. I would not support stores that are run in this manner.

Just went there and wow I can't believe how much work is being done and how much cleaner the place is now. New people there and they are working on cleaning up the place and getting it back to the condition it use to be. Can't wait to see the finished product once they are done giving it all the TLC it needs.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STORE, THIS MAN NEEDS TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS!!!This is the second time we have been in this store and we definitely learned our lesson. Every animal in there was dying. There was a big snapping turtle in a bin that had zero water in it and the water filter was bone dry… We couldn’t tell if it was dead or alive. So many big predatory fish were in tanks they can’t even turn around in. Fish tanks are filled with algae and did not appear to be cleaned for months, if ever. We wanted to save these animals but could not bring ourselves to give this guy any money just to spend on more animals that will be abused and neglected. Not to mention how dark and filthy it was throughout the whole store. You couldn’t tell what was for sale and what was for show. I wish I was able to take pictures :/ Please go anywhere else but here!!!

Almost like family. The guys are always super helpful and they're all very friendly. The only place I shop for my critters, and their prices are pheonomenal. The only place I know that's local where I can find feeder mice and rats for reptiles, that aren't frozen.This little guy was spared 🙃 Below is my pet rat.

This place has been in the same location since I was a little girl (in the late 60s). New Management has really cleaned up the out dated lil store. Please visit them again! You'll be happy you did!

I purchased a bag of hamster food there when l got it home l noticed the bag had a small puncture hole on the bottom of the plastic bag. I have no idea if the food is still good , no telling how long air has gotten into and started spoiling the contents.However l did see one of the best freshwater fish stocks I've ever seen.Love the African Sicklets (Haplochromusfascanastaus) which l believe is the most beautiful freshwater fish on this entire planet.Not sure if my spelling is correct!!!

please don’t support this kind of store, take the longer drive and go to a place like Animal House in st Pete. this was the most unusual pet store experience I have ever had. I felt like I was in an episode of hoarders. there are multiple different rooms that look like you shouldn’t be allowed in them but there are animals for sale in them… animals with feces all over the cage, dirty water and flies all over. fish that should be in a pond with sunken in stomachs and hole in the head disease…. there’s also so much clutter everywhere and animal cages set on random things, it just doesn’t feel like a retail store in any way shape or form . Also we never saw a single employee until we reached the bird section and he was walking into a dark room and then dropped something and started shouting profanity to himself so we swiftly walked out.

Great place, have been going there for years and years! Intimate shopping experience, friendly staff and knowledgeable, especially when it comes to snakes. My son had 2 growing up and we were always buying food for them from there and seeking advice. It's not huge like a local chain so don't expect them to have everything that those chain venues have. But, there's enough to see there and would highly recommend it especially if you have little ones. 🙂

This place could for sure use a good deep clean. They do have a wide assortment of freshwater fish but some of the tanks had multiple dead fish in them. I seen some ick on a few fish in 1 tank, seemed isolated as all their tanks are not connected in one system they are mostly separate tanks. One thing I will say for sure is their prices are amazing, three Blood Fin Tetras for $5!!!! They also sell live brine shrimp at a good price which is hard to find around here. They also have great prices on used equipment. I only shopped in the Fish section so I can't say much for the rest of the store really. So the question is would I recommend this store and shop here in the future? The answer is YES.

What a wonderful small business, the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Jeremy was a guru on how to set us up as new axolotl parents. He made sure we left with proper set up and through instructions on how to care for our new set up. Lots of pets to choose from and an abundant axolotl room.Highly recommend checking them out!

I've been shopping at this store for my entire life (and my parents before I was born). Good company, nice people, and always ready to help with advice and getting what you need.Beware of fake companies online that have similar names (like "MY pets unlimited" or "pets unlimited CO"). This company is a little shop with no online sales, so any reviews here saying they didn't receive a product ordered online are incorrect.

RUN don’t walk away from this abomination!! They sell sick animals that die within a week of being home. The store is disgusting! We felt as if we were rescuing a baby snake from this store. Even though we only had it for a little over a week it was the best week of the poor thing’s life. STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this place.

Would give 5 stars but I don't want people to gloss over the review! This place is exactly what I think of when wanting an old-school, down to earth pet store. The staff was friendly and answered my questions concerning marine cyanobacteria control expertly. Will definitely be back for my other pet related needs. Thanks!

This store has a lot of amazing animals. However in my opinion, it is filthy! The guinea pigs tank was so dirty that there were flies circling their food. There is bird food everywhere, and some of the animals looked crowded and not safely housed (in my opinion) We went to purchase an axolotl. The axolotl tanks appeared clean, and the room was temprature regulated, but that was the only cleanish area in the whole store. We had done extensive research on purchasing an axolotl-had a 20 plus gallon tank at home that had been cycling for weeks in preparation. The store is run by 2 elderly men (or so it appeared at the time) and we seemed to know more about the axolotl needs then the man we worked with. Not only that but a huge markup in price. I will not support this store, as I am concerned about safety for the animals. This appears to be an unsafe pet hoarding situation.

I'm an aquarium addict. Pets Unlimited has been my go-to pet store for all my pet needs and all of my fish have been bought there. The service is wonderful. If they don't have what I want in the store he'll order it and have it in a few days. I can't say enough good things about Pets Unlimited.

The staff is probably the most knowledgeable in the business. They are animal lovers and they are talking from experience. The store has been there over 50 years and that is almost unheard of anymore. They probably have the best selection of exotic freshwater fish in the area.

Came her to buy a bird for my kis. It's a smaller shop but they workers are very helpful and made themselves available to any questions we had.The kids love the parakeet we got. He is so beautiful ❤❤
