We stopped at the Orange Shop today to purchase some oranges. We got some Navels, Tangerines and Temples. The Temples are the best and so sweet! I enjoyed looking around the shop too. They sell honey, souvenir magnets, toys, candies of different flavors, nuts, and of course orange juice and oranges. Super fun shop!

Interesting little shop with signs going down highway to stop in!There on a Saturday morning in the shop wasn't filled yet and the lady working the shop was less than friendly.Interesting souvenirs and agricultural related products like honey and jams.Fresh squeezed orange juice. A little expensive but the flavor of the oranges samples are pretty good tho.

I really enjoyed this old fashioned roadside citrus mart. It was very nostalgic. They have a modern edge, the groves work with universities to create new breads of fruit. I most enjoyed the orange flavor pecans which were supposed to be for my mom but I demolished. I also really liked the bag of aromatic tiny oranges. I didn't find the satsumas remarkable. I liked that you can see the grove and feel connected to it. I really wish I had bought more pecans. Nice stop, especially if you like a vintage feel.

This is a nice shop with citrus, honey, pecans, marmalade, and fresh juice. Free samples in season before you by a five pound bag or a 1/4 bushel. Staff is nice a restrooms are clean.

What a great roadside stop!Reminiscent of a different era in Florida. In fact the Florida of my youth🤫Great selection of local citrus and treats with a bit of fun and nostalgic gifts thrown in. Free samples to try before you buy!Slow down and stop in if you are passing this way, it will be worth it.Friendly service.Seasonal only.

Love this place for oranges and the jams and dressings. However, came down from New York this week and decided to make the side trip to get some OJ after reading on their website they'd be open till May only to get there and find they are closed for the season. May want to update your website so that others don't waste time coming thinking you're open.

I never miss an opportunity to visit the Orange Shop when I'm visiting Florida. My first visit was as a child in the '60's returning home from visiting my Grandparents home in Ozona. Wonderful memories!

Super cute little roadside stop on our way back to NY from Florida. Let the kids pick up some kitschy little souvenirs and bought their fresh orange juice which is absolutely delicious. Wish I could have bought some bags of oranges but didn't want to drag em on a multi day road trip. They do ship though!!

Since 1937, The Orange Shop has been a winter fresh fruit destination and favorite gift shop located in none other than Citra, Florida! We always make an effort to shop here each season when the citrus is coming in. The fruit is always excellent and the retail shop has a great variety of one of a kind food and gift items. Located in a historic building, visiting here brings back fond childhood memories and feels like a visit back to simpler times.

This little store on the side of the road has a wide variety of oranges and tasty treats. They cut up samples for you to try. I enjoyed the Kinnu oranges which I had never had and bought a bag. Also, purchased Mango honey that was very good.

We have stopped here every year on our way south. Two days ago when we in the shop, we bought 2 bags of grapefruit at buy one, get one free. Many of the fruit are woody, and all have very little moisture and no flavor. They should be ashamed to sell them at any price. Also, there were no Honey Bell oranges, and the woman at the register did not know why. She suggested we order them online. Poor or no product and poor service equal no return visits from us.

Quaint little shop with a variety of gifts and mementos, plus orange related juices, fruit, jams and candies. I only wish the sold more varieties and smaller bags, but they are delicious and juicy.

We were driving through and thought we'd stop to purchase some fresh local oranges to take home. Unfortunately, we couldn't bring ourselves to pay $16.95 for 5 pound bag of oranges. We looked around at other items and everything was so highly priced that we left without purchasing anything. We are both business professionals and understand the P&L formula of running a business but price gouging is running This business in the ground.... I will say that we "would have bought the oranges" for $10.00 -$12.00 for the 5 pound bag, to support local business, but we were not willing to pay a nickel under $17.00, for 5 pound bag, that is just extremely high.

Great family owned orange stand! Fresh oranges, of several varieties, as well as other items made from oranges. You also can try every variety that they have before you buy!! As well as their fresh orange juice and the marmalades. Very friendly staff that made you feel welcomed and at ease making your suggestions. I loved the variety of oranges and the juice was so much better than store bought.

Great little shop, great OJ and fruit. They have a nice selection of novelty orange/ Florida items. We would have given this pace a higher rating but the customer service was definitely lacking- we felt like we got growled at.

Since I was passing thru, I guess I didn't realize that it was almost her quitting time. The woman said, "You need to be quick - I'm closing." (A little rude, BUT maybe she didn't have a lot of sales that day)?Didn't have much to choose from (as far as fresh fruit) - was a little disappointed in the orange & grapefruit selection.I will choose another place to stop next time.

Must stop place when coming back from FL. We got two bags on Valencia oranges and Honey tangerines.Orchid is located right behind the store. You can “try” before you “buy”. There is a tasting station where you can try different kind of oranges 🍊The stuff is following all Covid procedures: glass partitions, masks are mandatory.Great job! Great product

Was passing by when a gentleman looked to be having some issues with a rather large dog so I stopped in case I was needed. He was very great full and offered me some Florida lemons for my daughter. Y'all stop in and check on them.

Last time I was there I bought a couple of half bushels of the red or blood oranges or whatever they call them and they were incredible. Best oranges I ever had. I don't know that they have them this year yet because I think they're late bloomers.

I feel absolutely ripped off by this store! I paid over $12 for a bag of pink grapefruit and they are in terrible condition. The lady in store told me there are about 18-20 pieces of fruit in a 5 pound bag. I got exactly 10 of which 4 are rotten (1 I already threw out, not pictured) and some look disgusting. I paid $2 per piece of fruit. They know many people are just driving through and won't be able to return these rotten products. I am so ticked off. The owner should be ashamed!Part 2 - Since I wrote the initial review we opened the bag of oranges and this did nothing to salvage the situation. We purchased red oranges, but received dry stringy navel oranges. So the signs in front of the store are not reliable. The bags should be marked so there is a way you can verify what you are getting. I can buy better and cheaper naval oranges at Aldi. So much for supporting small business.

One time we got a package from a friend and they were very good, maybe different time of year. I ordered a three tray 1/2 grapefruit 1/2 navels and got only one tray of grapefruit. They are not as nice looking as in the pictures on their website, just a heads up. They don't taste as good but I think they save the better ones for walk in customers or sending to grocers. Some of them look old. Honestly, I had better grapefruit than this batch from stop n shop. We were disappointed for a $78 box of citrus.

Awesome roadside store! Many products available besides oranges & grapefruit. The kind of place you can walk into looking for one item then walk out with a dozen!

In business and run by the same family since 1936, this shop - "in an orange Grove" as the signs say - had all the tasty and cute orange stuff you could want, with an old-time vibe. Their OJ is amazing, too!!

Website said the store was open. We drove 50 minutes just to go there and it was all locked up with a sign that says 'Closed for the Season' . Please update your website.
