I've lived in Wedgefield for a couple years now and seeing as how there aren't a lot of businesses in close proximity yet, I've frequented this store often when needing to quickly run out to get something.It's the worst. The service here has been bad since my wife and I moved here but lately it seems like they've just completely given up. The store is often messy and challenging to navigate, trash is always overflowing outside, I've witnessed countless uncomfortable moments between employees and customers, and they just don't seem to stock a lot of basic items anymore. I've gone there 5 different times over the past month to grab some quick items ranging from dog food to bread and I've walked out empty handed every single time. I honestly don't think there's a single reason for me to shop here any longer and it bogs my mind. Like I said, there's not a lot of options out here and this is basically a general store. This business has no reason to be failing this hard. It just needs to be decent and have useful items.I've seen some reviews about expired and broken items being bought here and it doesn't surprise me at all. Most of the items in this store look like they were stocked on the shelves years ago and never touched again. Buying food items here is very dodgy and I wouldn't recommend (speaking from experience).Everything in this store is junk, basically. You can't even run in to get dog food anymore as they haven't sold any in over a month. They rearranged their shelves to suggest that they wont be selling it anymore too. Did kibble really mess with your overhead that much?You'll have better luck finding what you need at the 7/11 next door than this entire dollar store. Wish I could give it 0 stars.

The parking lot is always full of trash and boxes from the store and the outside garbage can is overflowing. Also, there are certain cashiers and an asst manager who are so lazy, rude, unhelpful and stand around doing nothing while the line is backed up of at least 10 people. When asked to open a register, they ignore you and the request. Poor staff but a convenient place to shop so I go there, unfortunately.

My prior review stands..nothing changes but what I’m most annoyed with today is, why am I being forced to wear a mask in your store only to go in & see the “manager” not wearing one?? Hmmm..In my experience the customer service has been lacking, they aren't very pleasant & are extremely slow to serve. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure it's a fire hazard to block isles with boxes which they never seem to unpack. I have stopped in twice this month for a quick pick up of granulated sugar & it still hasn't been restocked. What is going on with this store?

The manager Martha is amazing, this place is clean, always fully stock and they have the "neighborhood store" feel. The workers are great as well, they get to know most of the customers and actually converse pass the "your total is" avenue. They are always willing to help and will go retrieve the item you're looking for instead of pointing you to the aisle. Thank you family dollar of wedgefield for being so helpful!

Free pet rat with every purchase.All joking aside, I wish they'd just close this place. It has constant problems with rats and trash overflowing. The entire place overwhelmingly smells like feces, and I'm appalled that they'd have their workers even work in those conditions. It makes me sad that this place is apart of our neighborhood.

Won't be going back to this store. Saw a rat on top of can goods. Was wondering why they stopped stocking bread products. Haven't stocks bread in a while. Now I know the answer. Will drive the extra miles to Publix

Typical dollar store. Right at the front of the wedgefield community. Godsend for a quick pickup for a party. Usually open 9 to 9. Doesn't get too busy. If it does it's usually on the holidays. Sales year round. Staff is very friendly and the store is very nice to visit.

This store is a mess. Isles are blocked, you can’t even walk down most of store without having something in the way. It is a safety and fire harzard. They should be ashamed of themselves. Even the employees appearance don’t seem to be the cleanest so what can you expect. The overall quality is very poor. Specially in our kind of community.

It's always a pleasure buying from this store. Everyone is very pleasant and helpful!! Martha, the manager is very knowledgeable of all her store products. In addition, Martha and her staff members are always working hard making sure the store displays are at their best!! Great job guys!!

This store is always a mess. The aisles are full of boxes. The manager is always on her phone or the computer. I bought milkvtoday that had expired 3 days ago.No apology from the manager when the assistant Brittany told her. The assistant apologised numerous times. The line was huge and I saw the manager on her phone again. I told her, "she needs help". Will only shop when I am in dire need. No customer service.

Absolute worse customer service ever. Only one young lady is always a delight and helpful unfortunately I don't know her name. Greg on the other hand is horrible. Always behind the register but never helping out even when the line is at the back of the store which is often. He always acts so inconvenienced when asked for help.

Boxes are always blocking the lanes, There's only one register open so expect long lines. While you're checking out the women working are gossiping and talking about their personal issues to each other cursing and everything. It's really unpleasant and unprofessional. You also never know if there will be a sign with cash only because the system is down. I would avoid this store. Prices are also high because it's the only store in wedgefield.

Nice selection of home wares, groceries, pet items and school supplies. Good place to shop when you're short on something and you don't want to make a long commute to a superstore. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

This store in front of the Wedgefield community in Orlando has trash everywhere, window tinting half way off, not so friendly employees and needs a lot of maintenance. It’s a disgrace to our neighborhood and seems like nobody wants to address the issues after numerous complaints

It's a great place to buy extras. The people are always busy stocking. I wish it was cleaned up a little better outside. My only beef. It is at the entrance of the development I live in.

So I went in this morning to purchase some items and while I was there I purchased a remote control car for my son. I get home put in batteries and it doesn't work. So I then try another set of batteries still no luck. So I take my receipt and remote control car back to the store and request the same item in exchange (since you cannot sell already broken items to the general public). The lady as always is unfriendly and gives me some BS that they don't do that. I eventually convince her to let me exchange the item for the exact same item but not before she makes me feel like I'm some kind of low life trying to get my kid a working toy!This is something for the Owner / Manager / Employees of this store to understand: Even if the product in question is not immensely expensive by itself, if you are selling defective products to many people, this could add up to quite a large number and warrant the creation of a class action lawsuit. So I'd change your policy to something that makes sense. Such as allowing the exchange and refund of items as long as they are returned in a certain amount of time...say 24 hours?

Love the convenience of this store, but the waiting in line makes it worth my time to go all the way to a store with more selections. I feel sorry for the people in line behind me.

I wish I could post the pictures. This place is a health hazard to our community. The flies are working the garbage piled around the dumpster and if not already the rats will soon be setting up nests.

Be wary of any cold products, routinely the products are not kept at the proper temperature. Ice cream from the back comes out moosh, bought a gallon of milk and it tasted off right after opening. Will not trust any dairy from here going forward. Gatorades are cheap though.

Every family dollar ive been to, doesnt seem to have working ac. Make sure to look at your receipt before you leave. More often than not, I'm not given the right price on items that are on sale.
