I have shopped at the westerner in Chipley several times now and the customer service is hands down and the ladies in there are always more than happy to help you in anyway!! Wanna give thanks to Jessica for being so sweet and making the purchase of my new pistol a great experience!!! Will definitely be back to shop at the westerner.

My wife and I stopped in the store to see what all they had we live about 20 miles from the store, we’re in Chipley a lot. We’re both in our 60’s and retired and the entire time we were in the store we were followed and watched constantly like some kind of thief it was extremely uncomfortable. Been there once and that was more than enough.

The no refunds in November and December is not a good practice. We spent a lot of money but wanted to return 1 item that we bought. It was not a gift. The store is nice but not allowing refunds for two months is a poor business practice. We will remember it next year.

Lots of things western, I wish they carried more women's sizes. I found most of their clothes are aimed at the smaller sizes. I would buy more clothing If more sizes were available. But overall a great atmosphere and the owners are great.

Great place for clothes and boots. The staff was real attentive and brought several sizes to try why you just tried them on and they gave honest opinions about what they looked like. Beware, when you see the Jean prices note it only applies to the sale rack, stop the bait and switch not cool when someone drives for good Jean prices and gets there to discover, oh only the Jeans on this rack are for the advertised price. I did find two pairs on the sale rack that fit and looked great and was overall happy when I left.

There is quality clothing here. The store has a policy about buying sale items with no return, except 'store credit or exchange'. This was not explained or posted. No one told me, so unless you try it on, or are sure of the fit?Do not buy sale items. Good way to keep your money. Small print on your receipt. Protecting others, I hope!

They got great gifts for your cowgirls!And also boots and clothes for men. I love shopping here. Get things here that noone else will be wearing! Very large selection of boots and cowboy hats. Men, women or children!

Unprofessional staff, I came in and sat and waited for what seemed like 10 minutes to pick out a pair of boots that were already paid for, one of the employees approached me and I informed her I would like to try the boot in a size 12 and when that was too small and I informed her I'd like to go up to a 12.5 she sighed seemed very irritated with me and said " You can only go up to a 13" with an attitude. So I promptly told her dont worry about it and I'll make sure my job does not pay them for the boots I did not receive. I will never go back there again and I'm almost willing to pay people not to go there. Horrible customer service, but then again what am I supposed to expect out of ignorant people.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Stopped by Bonifay Rodeo weekend to buy my children some rodeo clothes. They were pretty excited about dressing up for their first time at the Rodeo. One would have thought that a Western store would stay open a little later on such a busy weekend but evidently not. I must have walked in just as they were about to close. However the ladies at the front greeted my kindly as I asked them to point me to the children’s section. The store was still relatively busy with shoppers as I rushed to pick up a few items. A asked a nice lady to help me find my daughters size, she was very helpful and quickly found what I was looking for. About this time a Man, who I later discovered was the owner of the store, comes back and says “I’m not trying to be rude but these people have places to be!” I was in complete shock as I have NEVER had an employee of a store, let alone the OWNER of the store, treat me with such RUDENESS!! I have worked in retail and have often times had to stay late to accommodate a shopper. After all paying CUSTOMERS are the only reason why you’re still in business. I would’ve been fired on the spot if I had EVER said something like that to customer!!! I would’ve just dropped everything and left the store if my children hadn’t been so excited about getting to dress up and go to the Rodeo!! I spent $160 in his store and he had the audacity to treat me like he did!! I will certainly never return and I will make sure to tell everyone that I know to shop somewhere else and support a store who’s owner isn’t such a rude JERK!!

Love Miss Me brand jeans and I never walk away from here without finding a bargain! The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to shop but be aware that it is a high end specialty shop. The bargains are there but you've got to look.

Made two separate Justin work boot purchases lately by internet. Interacted by phone the first time, to see if in stock, the gentleman said they were and order went out the next business day. Second order, they called and said didn't have in stock but had a slightly wider size in stock. Again, went out the next day. I appreciate the great service!

Web site and door clearly state Monday through Saturday... close 530pm... it is currently 5pm on Saturday and they are locked up lights inside off... will drive to dothan to the Barn since the Westerner can't be open when they state they are! If they are closed outside of regular hours they need to put a sign up with correct store hours and not falsely advertise hours...

Been going here for years. I can spend all day at a mall and come out empty handed but spend five mins in this store and have an arm load . Love their boots ,service, and clothes for the whole family. Went there once around rodeo season and witnessed people from all over the USA throwing down a lot of money. You can find some good deals and you can find great quality boots and clothes for what they are worth. I personally own a few pair of boots that was purchased there a few years ago and still have years left on them . I love this store. Quality dosent come cheap but what you do get here will last.

My hometown Western store...it has come along way with customer service to ALL...and that's finally comforting..awesome quality clothes along with hundreds of boots,hats,children wear,men and women apparel, beautiful prom and elegant attire..this store really was my Santa's workshop please stop by and support,the women are friendly and very helpful 😊

Didn't find the size we needed to be abundant as discussed by phone before we drove to Chipley, but we did come out of there with 2 pairs of Wranglers. So all is good.

Very NICE selection of western wear. Clothes (including babies and toddlers), boots, perfumes, etc. Great customer service. Extremely well stocked.
