I have never been to the chiefland Save-A-Lot until this day. I was really grateful for the prices on the groceries. The store was organized, wide isle and an incredible selection to choose from. I couldn't believe the prices!! Great job Save-A-Lot. This will be one of my first stores I stopped when I go grocery shopping. I actually got 5 lb of beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful pork chops. I could not believe how beautiful all the pork chops were underneath the top ones. I was definitely not disappointed on the shopping trip.

It's a low-budget store selling low-budget items. The meat in the meat department makes me nervous. Not the prepackaged me but the ones they cut and package. It almost always smells a little sour... enough to make you think it's better off in the garbage.It's clean... including the bathrooms. Produce has an ok selection if you want the basics. The staff is ok, not great, but ok. I say this with the exception of Danielle. I love Danielle.Overall, this store rates 3 out of 5 stars.

Fruit and vegetables cost less but half of them are spoiling on the shelves. Love some of the staff but please yall fix this it's in the entrance So the smell hits you as soon as you walk in the door

First time in this store and was really surprised and with my visit. The prices were very competitive with Walmart and fruit and vegetables stand. I was surprised at one thing, there wasn't alot of people there. Come on yall this place has better prices than Walmart and better employees. So come on people come see for yourself.

It’s always a score when you can save money. We are visiting in town and it is our first experience shopping at Save A Lot. I’ve been very pleased.They have a great produce department and their meats are great too. We love their “irregular” bacon. It’s perfect for soups and flavoring.I have yet to meet a rude employee at this store. They have all been extremely nice and helpful.We will be sure to seek out the nearest Save A Lot in our travels. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

prices on their meat are great plus I love that they have an on site butcher. I bought a ham but only wanted to cook half of it at a time so he cut it in half for me nice friendly service! Their selection of veggies are great to I've tried the generic veggies from most grocery stores and don't care for them to much, but the veggies at Save-A-Lot are pretty good especially the Meargret Holmes brand their seasoned collard green are awesome! You should check them out.

Prices are great. The only drawback is that there are NO organic foods available there.Update this review: Since it was written about 8 months ago, they have started to offer non GMO foods. Very impressive. Thank you Save A Lot.

Love the employees they are always nice they have had a few bad apples but for most part everyone is nice. Always nice to my kids. Only downfall is the supply on canned goods and sometimes the prices of meats but that's expected with the way the world bis going this year

I really like the produce and the dairy products. And they have a good selection of Spanish food.But when I was there today, I asked the cashier if they sold wine or champagne. And she was very rude. She told me that this is Save a lot. Not one of those fancy stores like Winn Dixie. A gentleman behind me said that the liquor store sold wine. And I said that I just figured if they sold beer they would have wine. As I walked away she said "Some people are never happy". Not a very nice thing to day about a customer! I should have told her that that fancy Dollar General sells wine too!

The Cross City , FL. Store is always clean the staff are friendly and helpful the meat there is always good and descent prices and they will cut any roast you buy into steaks for you freeThey will cut the whole chickens in half also
