Spent a week camping here. Closest other RV was 100 feet away. Full hookups all worked great. Campsite was mostly level. Large city park with Lake Siminole and a dam are next to the campground. Friendly staff and clean bath house.Dog-friendliness: Lots of areas to allow our dog to run

We were in site 11 on the end. All of the sites are spaced well apart. This spot made it fairly easy to back our 40 ' Fifth wheel into place. There is an amazing amount of room for walking the dog, and there's also a wonderful city park beside the big Apalachicola River. The camp host is a great guy and will do what he can to make your stay a good one. We will definitely be back! I didn't use the shower or restrooms.

I got a chance to sit with the owner, Bill and man what a cool guy! He let us stay here on Easter Sunday when we had no where else to go and says he loves to accommodate cyclists! highly reccomend staying here!

The city has worked hard upgrading this RV park. 30&50 amp power with full hook-up. RV sites are rocks and long. Sites are well spaced. A gated and fenced campground. Has been quiet and a pleasant stay during the 4th of July weekend. Close to the river and lake Seminole. Billy is very helpful and easy to work with.

This is a very affordable full hookup option with gorgeous grounds and conveniently located next to a public park and boat ramp. However, improvements are definitely needed. Some sites had all amenities, but our’s was without a fire ring, grill, or picnic table. This made cooking or eating outside impossible. Additionally, the sewer hookup was awkwardly far the from the electric/water and we had to get an additional sewer hose to be able to be connected to all three at the same time.

May say resort in the name, but if we rated this in terms of hotels.:. This would be a roadside truck stop motel. Like, it’ll get the job done and it’s cheap..: But don’t.Florida State Hospital is right next to it. When patients are discharged and have nowhere to go, they stay homeless in the area. Usually not a big deal. Except they have a whole camp set up in the woods at the top of the hill mere feet from where you’re sleeping, complete with makeshift plumbing. Camp host will give anyone the code and hasn’t changed it the entire two months I stayed. Gave it to some random girl whose boyfriend ditched her dog at the park right outside the gate, who then came back 3 more times to look for her dog after we already brought it up to the host about the inappropriateness of sending in random people to harass us. Bathrooms are never cleaned. At most, they’re swept out. Two months, you think you’d see it cleaned or smell cleaners. Nope. Camp host frequently drinks and interacts with customers while intoxicated.Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.

It was okay. There's a gas station and Hardee's near the entrance. The entrance is at the top of a hill. I was on the upper level, it looks like the lower level is no longer used due to flooding. The boat ramp is outside the campground, through the gate, but not far. I was there in Feb 2021 and the boat ramp was flooded so I went to Sneads State Park boat ramp, 8 minutes away. It's a much better boat ramp but cost $3 to launch, honor system. On the route to Sneads boat ramp there's a Piggly Wiggly, Pizza Hut and laundromat.

What a gem! Planned to stay overnight but it was so restful and Billy was such a fantastic host we decided to stay an extra night. The nearby park is worth a visit too.

I stayed here while passing through on my bicycle as part of crossing the country. The owner has done a great job accommodating the touring bicyclist. There was a nice new pavilion complete with water and electricity.I highly recommend this campground!

My husband and I just spent 3 nights here and it was absolutely perfect for us and our two dogs. Billy, the camp host met us at the gate even though we were a little later than expected due to some truck trouble, he waited on us and took us to our campsite and stayed until we got set up. He checked with us daily to make sure we didn't need anything, he is so friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back as we have family that lives in the area.

Campground and surrounding is beautiful. While the bathroom is dated I've found it to be clean and functional. Billy is an amazing host and person. Always checking with you to see how you are and truly helpful. The improvements are coming the lower level is adding spots. Internet has improved. Could use a laundry room.

The campsite and area are very pleasant and well maintained. New table, fire ring, and grill. Camp host were very friendly and helpful. Full hookups a big plus. Great walk down to the Apalachicola River. . The bathhouse is dated but was clean. Recently taken over by the city with a lot of good.plans ahead.

Our family spent 5 nights over the Thanksgiving holidays. You can't sit around the fire ring because the camp sites are not level. The bathrooms were not cleaned the whole time we were there. We had to ask for more t.p. The host had given us 2 rolls on Wednesday and was surprised on friday that more was needed. I don't know how many campers there were but there was 7 campers, we had 11 people. Yes we used the 2 rolls he gave us and what we brought and had to go to the store and get more. The bathroom is not heated so it is not comfortable getting a shower on a cold morning. They do not offer senior or military discounts.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Nice campground with new tables, grills, and fire pits. Very quiet campground with view of the lake below. Billy, the camp host, was awesome! He helped us get backed in, brought us some firewood, and later came down and talked with us around the fire. We’ll definitely stop by again!

The city campground has potential; however, the work on fix up is slow and dependent on city funds for improvement. The sites are not cleaned of debris after campers leave or mowed, the bathroom had no toilet paper and needed to have leaves swept out, water drainage is a problem when it rains, and they need a campground host that doesn't have other full time employment. He really doesn't have time to take care of the grounds. We would return if in the area and the US Army Corp campground had no availability.

I stayed here for a little over two months while working in town. It’s a great peaceful campground with plenty of room! The camp host helped me with anything I needed and is good people!

Park is ok. Had my son in there for a month. He was harassed everyday by the person that watches the park reminding him everyday how many days he had left until he had to leave. Constantly being told Pike Electric is coming. Need the space. I prepaid over $500.00 for this ? This guy is unbelievable. Leave people alone!!!

We didn't stay here. We camped closer to I10 but drove to check it out. Looks like a work in progress. Will have to wait and see what develops. Right now we saw a short row of fifth wheels and in the lower level a very open grassy field, vacant. Nobody around to inquire about it.

Great spot with walking trails to the river and a nice park with shelters, tent camping is good with fire pits and plenty of wood around in the forest areas

The shower house needs fixing up the laundry room needs fixing they haven't done nothing after the storm to start cleaning it up but it was a nice place overall to camp hopefully they will clean and repair soon

I find this RV Camp site to fit the bill.Not somuch the Lawndry room, But more washing out on town drag.Lots of food Restaurants, Stores Close.
