So I call to get a price on several Fertility Drugs. Estradiol, Novarel, Menopur, Tongal F, Cetrotide. and Crinone. At first they would not give me a price. Then they gave an overstated estimate because they can't run the price with out the Prior Authorization. OK. But even when all that was said and done they still over charged. CVS SP Pharmacy quoted me $1,886.88 for Crinone, then after I bought from SMP - South Miami Pharmacy for $35. Now, after I call back, the price drops from $1,800 to $355. But still nearly 100% more than SMP. The total cost savings of using the SMP was nearly $800. The only reason to use this pharmacy is to reach your deductible. If you are a Cash buyer, there are other Pharmacies with a lot better pricing. They will work with you with discounts and truly find the best value.
