Met up with some friends from Wisconsin. We stayed here for 3 weeks and we absolutely love the resort spacious sites super clean. The staff was fantastic. Meredith and her husband especially were wonderful. We visited Cedar Key and ate at Steamers restaurant twice. Traveled to Chiefland, which is about 20 miles away and ate at barbecue Billies twice. It was wonderful, great salad bar, great barbecue and reasonably priced.

Fantastic Stay at Cedar Key RV ResortI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cedar Key RV Resort for four nights, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. The resort served as our home base for exploring the surrounding area, and it exceeded our expectations in many ways. The location of the resort, approximately 20 minutes from Chiefland, Florida, and 7 miles from Cedar Key on the Gulf of Mexico, locations that provided convenient access to essential supplies from Walmart and other local shops. This made our stay hassle-free and allowed us to focus on enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The staff at Cedar Key RV Resort were not only welcoming but also ensured that the entire space was clean and well-maintained. The amicable atmosphere was evident throughout our stay, creating a sense of community among temporary visitors like us and those who spent the entire winter season at the resort. One of the highlights of the resort was its impressive amenities. From a refreshing pool to pickleball courts, everything was well-maintained and available for use. The showers, in particular, stood out, surpassing the quality we've encountered in our travels. The community room with a television, exercise room, and full kitchen added an extra layer of convenience and comfort. As a wildlife photographer, I found the proximity of Cedar Key RV Resort to a diverse array of wildlife and birds truly remarkable. I managed to capture some incredible shots, including an eagle and osprey, thanks to the picturesque surroundings.Lastly, I highly recommend if you visit this park you should also patronize a local restaurant called Steamers in Cedar Key. The locally caught blackened grouper I had there was nothing short of exceptional. It added the perfect culinary touch to our stay.In terms of safety and security, Cedar Key RV Resort scored a perfect five-star rating from us. We felt completely at ease throughout our stay, thanks to the well-maintained facilities and the friendly community atmosphere. I am attaching several photos, including the eagle and osprey captures, to showcase the beauty of this RV park.Overall, Cedar Key RV Resort provided an exceptional experience, and I wholeheartedly give it a five-star rating. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a traveler seeking comfort, or someone looking for a friendly community atmosphere, this resort has it all.@thomascorrao

We are a Lot owner in this park as we have been here for over a year now. This is one of the most beautiful RV Parks in the area. The lots are very wide and open as it is nice not to have RVs on top of each other as we have experienced on our previous travels. All the lots have concreted pads to park your RV on plus a concrete deck area. All the Roads in the Park are Paved and in great shape. The Pool and the Pickle ball Courts have been recently Updated. You will not find any park that is perfect but overall, we are very happy to be owners here as it’s a nice getaway for us, especially seeing the beauty of Cedar Key. Be aware that the previous 2 ratings below are revenge ratings of previous owners that had issues with the rules of the park, it’s really a nice place to Stay.

This place is a solid, total 10 out of 10. Long, level, concrete pads with PLENTY of space between each one. All but two are back-ins so we had to unhook the car at the office and then Mark, a friendly staffer, hooked our tow dolly to his golf cart to park in the storage area. We have full hookups with 30 & 50 amp, cable and WiFi and a very nice clubhouse with a heated pool. The place is immaculately kept, with lots of grass and trees and a relaxed vibe.

Wow such a beautiful park! My husband and I have stayed here numerous times , the sites are HUGE and each one has a large cement pad. The restrooms are large and always spotless. They also have a amazing clubhouse with a kitchen that the guess may use along with a large screen TV and many books and movies you can checkout. The staff are very friendly and helpful too!

CKRV Resort was a great place for us to take an 8-night break from our hectic trek south. Great layout of spacious, partly shaded, flat concrete sites. Grounds well kept and clean. Facilities, including club house pool and bathhouse were well maintained and clean. All the staff inside and out were helpful and pleasant and on top of everything. Perfect place to see Cedar Key and surrounding area!

My wife and I have stayed at other RV resorts in Cedar Key. This is the best place by far. Spacious lots, cement pads, great amenities, friendly staff and guests, easy to get into and out of. This is one of our favorite homes away from home.

I really enjoyed my 3 day stay at the Cedar Key RV Resort. It was pretty empty due to the pandemic, but the park is clean, with a pool, 3 small lakes, a club house, and nicely paved pads (our spot was already level). It is quiet and the office staff are friendly. They even suggested a spot that was great for us, based upon our needs. I would definitely come back!

A great campground, kudos to whomever engineered the site(s) a well spaced layout there. Easy access, paved driveway to a concrete pad and patio. Short drive to Cedar Key, Shell Mounds walking trail. Cedar Key island is a wonderful layed back island fishing town w/ no chain stores or restaurants to be found. Be sure to check out the Island Historical museum. Lots of great gift shops and places to eat.

What a surprise to find this park just outside Cedar Key. We were lucky to find a spot for overnight stay. The park has large clubhouse with kitchen and outside grill privileges. A nice heated pool, laundry, bathhouse, sewage, electric and water hookup. Concrete pad and our site was shaded. We will definitely be back.,

I debated the rating on this place. Its a beautiful resort but there are a couple issues that makes me hesitate giving it a 4 star. So I believe its a 3.5 star.Firstly its expensive and the rates don't include hydro which I wasn't aware of. For the rates they charge comes certain expectations, and one of them is good wifi. Well it doesn't have that. In fact the wifi is pretty much useless. Its good for checking email and thats about it, and even then the connection is constantly being dropped. Trying to use the internet is almost impossible and forget streaming anything which to me is a must in all parks now a days especially at these ratesThe sites are huge, in fact they are so big you don't really feel like you are in an RV park, more like a suburban subdivision. The sites on the perimeter of the park are very big and I am guessing those are owned by individuals and not the resort. Many are custom landscaped and very nice. The ones owned by the resort are interior to the perimeter road and they all have very nice concrete pads, picnic tables and good hookups. There is good landscaping in these resort sites too. Nothing like the custom ones but well above average for an RV resort.I am not sure if its the time of year I am here, Nov Dec or what but the maintenance crews are power washing something most days for hours and for weeks on end. They used a big gas motor power washer that is extremely noisy and they do it for hours on end.I get maintenance has to be done but maybe spreading out when they do it, and move around a bit in the park would help as well as limiting it to 1 hour a day. It takes them an hour to power wash the concrete, utility pedestal and picnic table on a site. So thats a lot of hours of listening to that very loud power washer. I didn't even think the sites they were doing even looked like it needed to be done.Club house is spacious and clean but very dull inside. The pool is small and very plain, with ugly concrete deck around it. But its a pool, however in my two months of Nov Dec, I have not seen a single person there, so not sure, it may not be heated. There is a large community firepit but it didn't look like it had been used in a very long time and had junk like broken chairs around it and stuff in the firepit. There isn't much of a sense of community here and I found it to be way too quiet and boring with little to no interaction with other people, A lot of that may be due to the subdivision like layout of the place where in suburbia, people stay in their cookie cutter property and don't interact with neighbours. The park I normally stay at in Cedar Key is unfortunately closed due to damage from a hurricane several months ago and that place had that sense of community and interaction with others. A lot of that may have been due to it being a lot tighter of a resort and you can't help but meet others. And maybe because its cheaper and has a different cliental. If you like those well kept subdivision like RV park then this place is for you. Its just not my kind of place.

Very nice and clean RV resort. The cable is available with limited channels. The Wi-Fi was strong but the park was relatively empty for mid July. I suspect the Wi-Fi is much weaker in the winter months when the park is at full capacity. The photos are not deceiving. If you have a German Shepard, Rottweiler, Pit Bull, Doberman or Chow, you need to call first before making reservations. They do not publish the unacceptable dog breed list on their website.

What a beautiful winter home for 99 lucky vagabonds. 1/2 are site owners but there is some sites available for purchase as well as limited seasonal use. You can see the pride in the clean public buildings as well as owners sites. Close to the Gulf.

I almost hate posting this because more people will find out about this hidden gem and show up. The park and staff are 5 star worthy. Thank you for a wonderful, stress free, relaxing weekend. We will return.

Nice Campground with paved roads, concrete pads, full hook ups, club house, pool, bath house and showers and coin laundry. There is wifi but as with most campgrounds bandwidth is small so you won't be streaming Netflix and the like. All well kept and clean. The staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. CResort is short drive to historic Cedar Key with a gas station, store and Dollar General near by.

Had a wonderful 2 days @ Cedar Key RV resort. Large concrete sites. We'll be back. I was advised not to bring my dog since she had a purple Chow tongue. The website says Pets welcome, but doesn't mention breed specific dogs (ie. German Shepherds, Chow, etc) aren't welcome. Also, their website mentions under activities that there will be Line Dancing, Thursday, at 3:00. Not. I was told they don't have any activities. Owners need to update their website.

Very well-kept park with a friendly staff. Wes and Dena were especially helpful in getting me situated and giving me ideas to explore in the local area. Level sites, all FHU, paved, patio, BYO fire ring on a stand!

Don't trust. Bait and switch- They will lie about your deposit use, strength of their Wi-Fi, and pool. I was denied pool access the minute I checked in. I was offered no discount..By the way, the pool is basically somebody's back yard pool.. It doesn't even look legal by the state.. The drinking water is so rusty it will destroy your equipment, it smells and trash your laundry. There's roaming cats everywhere that are owned by the renters and the staff who screams for them at 7 AM in the morning. I complained about all this But nobody cared, however now the truth is out And I'm publicly announcing it.., I'm sure the owner will respond to this and give excuses for all these issues and Probably blame it all on me. Do not trust this place. Do not trust the staff.

Overall it was clean and has good pads. Customer service however needs an overhaul. We travel to many RV resorts and this was the first time we ever had an issue where the staff was rude and not very welcoming. The area really has no bike access which we were told over the phone there was. When we got there the lady told us it was dangerous to ride on that main road which was the complete opposite of what we were told when we booked. Another negative would be the fact that the pool was closed during the duration of the trip.We would not recommend staying there especially when there are better options more towards the town of Cedar Key. We stopped by those places before heading back home and found that not only were the prices comparable but we were met with kindness.
