Fun stop along the coastal route in this Florida panhandle town. I’ve been coming here here for 50 years and it still has that fishing village old Florida charm.The Police station in a phone booth and the story behind it is a good one!

Easy stop if you're driving by. Just turn passed the booth and there is plenty of parking. Quite interesting and free to see 24/7. The original booth is in the Carabelle History Museum nearby (worth the visit too and also free entry). Police is not standing there, it's just a tourist attraction. There is no phone inside the booth. Visited November 2022.

They said it was small, they were not kidding. If you are in the area, it's worth it just to pop by and look. Maybe it's the second most famous phone booth next to the Tardis.

I found this from WeirdUS's site and book. We were passing through Carrabelle while on a road trip and decided to visit this spot. There's a neat little sign on the inside with some history about the station on it.

Worth seeing if you are already on that road. Don't go out of your way. Not much else around. Good hardware store.

I love Carrabelle, Florida! Very quaint, friendly little town! If you want to kickback and relax this is where to come! They say at one time this actually was the police station! The town is still this small!
