I had an absolutely amazing dining experience at this Korean restaurant in Carrabelle, Florida. It's a local gem owned by passionate individuals, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone visiting the town. The flavors and authenticity of the dishes are outstanding, making it a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. Don't miss the chance to savor the delicious food and support this wonderful local establishment!

I don't know if this is "authentic Korean" - I've been to some very good Korean restaurants in Los Angeles and New York, and this was more like the homestyle Korean cooking I'd expect in the homes of my Korean friends. But for this area, it was a really nice alternative.Nothing was greasy. That's a big deal down here. We drove from Panacea and everyone was super nice. Arrived 15 minutes before they technically opened, but the woman at the counter took our order and promised it would be ready right at opening time - which it was. This is not a place to go if you expect fancy dining; plastic implements and to-go boxes are the rule of the day.The vegetables were very good. Enjoyed the steamed dumplings and their sauce as well, though I suspect the sauce was out of a bottle. Our one big criticism is the quality of meat. I realize this is a small business, but the chicken and pork tasted like the absolute cheapest brands. Tasteless to the point where we shoved all the meat aside and ate the vegetables instead. It was unfortunate because that ruined a good portion of the meal for all of us. I hope the owner, who seems very friendly and on top of things, realizes that in a meat or poultry dish, the flavor begins with those items.Next time we'll see if they can't do one of the regular dishes with tofu instead of a meat/poultry choice.Loved, btw, that they grow a lot of their own herbs and spices and vegetables!!!

I had really high hopes for this place. as an Asian and a lover of Asian food I thought this place was going to be really good after seeing all the pictures and reviews.I expected to see an Asian lady whipping up some amazing Korean food but instead it's just a bunch of Gen Zers working there complaining . They don't know how to greet anyone and somehow they ran out of tofu for the vegetable ramyun. they did substitute a fried egg but it's not the same. there was one girl there that was kind of nice. we ordered a little bit of everything because I wanted to see what this place had to offer. The egg rolls were the best thing I ate and they were better than most takeout Asian restaurants. the dumplings were just okay. we got the bulgogi and vegetable ramyun and they were both bland. needed more umami flavor. all you tasted was spice. maybe when the Korean lady worked there it was better. The Japchae was very bland as well. it definitely needed more sauce and the glass noodles were mushy. The Korean short ribs with fried rice was good but expensive. I will never come back. I hope if you do decide to go you have a better experience than we did. if you ever had really good Korean food I would skip this place for sure. i did leave full though because I didn't want to waste $90

Had a great lunch at this little locally owned restaurant. Clean, friendly, great food. We ate in, but most people were doing carry out. We each had a noodle dish that was packed with fresh ingredients and flavor. Had a great “feel”..although we are not from the area, everyone coming in for pickup seemed to know everyone! Would go again. As a side plus…assume it was the owner, makes and delivers dinner to the senior residents weekly. ❤️

We were excited to eat here based on the rave reviews and because we love Korean food. We ordered the grilled chicken and spicy pork entrees with fried rice. We were seriously disappointed by the quality of both the chicken and the pork, my sauce was bland and way too sweet, and the fried rice was super generic overcooked white rice with overcooked frozen mixed vegetables. Nothing tasted authentic, fresh, or even flavorful. I do have to say the egg rolls and fries mandu were delicious, I would eat those again. However, my entree was inedible; I had to throw 95% of it away. My husband was in the army and he has had better MREs. I sincerely hate leaving bad reviews but this restaurant needs a lot of work. :(

Stopped in during our visit to Carabelle and the food far exceeded our expectations! The owner was amazing, asked our preferences and customized our order to our taste. The tuna in the Poke bowl was incredibly fresh, the kimchi spicy and crunchy, the dumplings plump and flavorful. The portions were large and everything beautifully presented. Will definitely be back when we return to this beautiful little town!!

Yes! There is very good Korean food in Carabelle. Honestly, we were only able to try the egg rolls since we were driving. However, if the egg rolls are any indication of the rest of the menu, we can't wait to return. Everything is made to order and worth the few minutes of waiting.

Some of the best food I’ve had in the Panhandle. We drive through Carrabelle a lot on the way to the beach and have always wanted to stop here. There are tons of delicious flavorful choices and the owner is super friendly! I’m sure every item on the menu is amazing. We loved the dumplings and bulgogi.Really suggest you stop here for lunch, if you come on a weekend get in early as they run out of food! Thanks Taste of Korea, we will be back!

First time it was a cold and breezy day when we visited. Originally we had come for a taco special but with the weather a spicy hot, noodle soup was my.go to and it didn't disappoint! It had something I had never had before which was lions head mushroom..delish! It is take out but they do have a covered area with a few picnic benches. Next time to Carabelle A Taste of Korea is on our list!

Stopped by today and had an AMAZING experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was super friendly and owner’s story was incredible! This place is a MUST, we will be stopping by every time we pass thru on the way to the beach and encourage you to do the same.Vegetarian options: Made to order. Selection of mushrooms is awesome.

Excellent fresh made from scratch Korean food. Had the Raymun with tofu and vegetables, it came with 4 different types of mushrooms, including Lyons mane! Also HIGHLY RECOMMEND the jars of kimchi. It is some of the best kimchi I've ever had and at $8, it's a steal. I'm not sure what the residents of the tiny little town did to deserve food this good, but its worth a stop if you're anywhere in the area.

Food was fast and fabulous. Probably the best egg roll I've ever had. The fried cabbage was awesome and I'm not a big cabbage eater. We're sailing thru down to the Keys so if you happen into this little town, make sure to drop by and grab some grub!

Amazing Korean food right from the heart of Carrabelle, Florida. Pork and Beef bulgogi was full of flavor. I would probably go with the beef next time and ask for it to be extra, extra spicy. The sauteed slaw it comes with is out of this world. Potstickers are yummy. This little gem is a great spot to stop on the way to St. George Island or Apalach.

Excellent food! Very yummy bulgogi and ramen. Great little hole-in-the-wall in a very beautiful part of town.Parking: Not much parking right in front. But plenty around the corner.

Food is not authentic and terrible. Too much money for what it is. I could have went to Panda Express and it would have been better. I ordered Jeyuk Bokkeum (Spicy Pork Bulgogi) and it was brown and not shredded pork, red color or spicy. It was also cold. Had to throw it out. The kimchi pancake was too thick and under cooked. It supposed to be thin and crispy. One of the girls was cutting up pork and did not wash her hands. She was handling cooked food. The kimchi was not good. Tasted like sauerkraut. I buy kimchi once a week from an authentic Asian market. Makes their own kimchi. I was surprised that two WHITE girls were trying to cook and say that the Korean food was authentic. My husband said his coffee was awful. We won’t go there again.

I went to the beach, and it was amazing that there was a Korean food restaurant, so I visited.By the way, bulgogi was too tough, expensive, and the rice was not good either.Only the ice cream store next door was delicious.

Just because you are in a quaint fishing village on the gulf coast doesn't mean you should miss out on some excellent Korean food. The staff couldn't be more friendly and the food couldn't be more delicious. Great food at a great price and tell her Walter sent you, maybe I can get a free egg roll, they are the best. Pictured is the beef bulgogi my wife ordered this and I got the spicy. Both were excellent. Will be making this a weekly tradition.
