This beach is a hidden gem. No crowds. The water, shells, and fishing are great! The parking is very limited. I suggest you plan or be patient when waiting for parking to become available. The area is beautiful and quiet. Major Ian recovery efforts are underway. Plan to be on island time when visiting. Traffic may move slow from 8-6 but is well worth it.

We were pleased to finally be able to explore this beach. Hurricane Ira interfered with our previous plans to visit. Sanibel Island is still experiencing restoration from the destruction. But visitors can now stroll the beaches, collect shells, and enjoy sunbathing on this quaint and charming island.

Beautiful beach. Limited parking, solid restrooms. Great place to shell and catch a beautiful sunset. Would visit again, even considering the traffic to get on and off Sanibel.

The beach was very clean and a great place for shelling. Especially from December to February. Plus, there was a big storm the night before, and so many whole, pretty shells that were everywhere on the beach. It was soooo good to see Sanibel building rising back up like eagles wings. It did break my heart to see so many empty businesses and homes. May God continue to place your little town!

Very nice, you can walk for miles on the beach and paying for parking was easy with the new app.

This part of Turner Beach is located just as you cross over a bridge and turn into a small parking lot that you pay through a phone app. It’s $5/hour to park there and there’s not many parking spots available. My 2 star rating is for this part of the beach I was on. Granted they had a hurricane hit here which is to blame for this low rating.I came to shell and according to my research, this was the place to go. There are mostly crushed shells on this part of the beach, but you will definitely still find whole shells here, but they’re small and basic. This part of the beach was ravaged by the hurricane and if you go anytime soon you will see that in the community as well. I saw boats in trees, mind you!Along my drive to this location I did see white sandy beach areas, not sure if they were plentiful with shells though, but I imagine so. If I could do it over again, I would have stopped to shell in a more beautiful area to enjoy the better sand and beauty. The whole island is under renovations so it will take time for that beautiful island scenery to return. But it will.So with that, I would return to this part of Turner Beach, but only after more time has passed and things return back to their natural state again 💯

Turner Beach is great beach. Hurricane Ian destroyed the facilities and nearby condos but the beach is still beautiful. There are an unbelievable amount of shells to collect. The south end is better for fishing and moving away from the pass is better for swimming. Water shoes recommended. Parking is limited.

Nice beach right in the pass with several sand bars, but be careful it gets deep fast! Watch the cross currents too, but they're not too bad I didn't think. Plenty of shells to choose from and you can walk forever! Nice bathrooms and a shower to rinse off. Worth the trip! Cheers!

Parking is limited and is $5 an hour that you pay through your phone. They will give you a ticket if you don't pay. I love that it's not crowded. Also a great beach for shelling, best time to go shelling is at low tide.

This beach was absolutely beautiful! There was mounds of shells to pick through by the rock jetty. The locals was very welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this beach to anyone who loves shelling. There is also a public restroom in the parking lot making this beach very convenient to those with kiddos.

We love coming to this beach. Parking is very limited, so keep that I'm mind when visiting. This is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

We love shelling here and this Father's Day (2023) in the evening, we were night time shelling at low tide and spotted this beautiful Turtle coming up onshore to lay her eggs. I named her Gerti, short for Gertrude. I called it in to wildlife so they could mark the nest. Remember to only use red flashlights during this time of year through October for their safety and their hatchlings!

As a passionate traveler, I found Turner Beach to be a hidden gem, even after the impact of Hurricane Ian on its facilities and nearby condos. The beach's natural beauty and the wealth of shells to collect were captivating. For fishing enthusiasts like me, the south end was a glorious spot, while those looking to swim should head away from the pass. It's advisable to bring water shoes, and keep in mind that parking is limited at this enchanting beach.

Turner Beach is great, as the minimal parking limits the beach patrons. Great shelling & shoreline fishing. Obviously, you've got to get there early to score a parking space.😎

Beautiful beach with a walkable bridge that connects to Blind Pass Beach. Lots of shells, fishing, beach. Be sure to pay for parking (QR Scan. Input license plate, No dashes.) Limited parking--plan ahead.Great shelling. Lots to do for the whole family. Bug Spray recommended for No See Ums. 50+ Sunscreen for kids.

Best shelling around, I think not. Small amount of parking and lots of crushed shells was it. Sand was nice for the most part and it's a clean beach. They also have outdoor wash area for washing the sand off so that was nice.

The beach was wonderful and the water was nice. There weren’t many great shells but there were a lot of good ones! The beach was filled but paying for the parking kept it from being overcrowded. I would definitely go again.

When Turner parking lot is full and you have to drive to 3 more miles to find parking. And pay $40.00 for the day is ridiculous! Then you go back to wait till someone leaves or park across the bridge and walk back to the beach. But at least the prices aren't ridiculous. It's beautiful there, if you go, go early or you'll have to walk 1/4 mile will all your beach stuff.

Awesome beach for shells! Sand is dark so it's really hot on your feet. Definitely stock up on water before hitting the beach! See a dolphin swim by which was awesome! They have showers, bathrooms and water fountains.

Very few parking spots, pay by the hour ensures it’s not over crowded. Turn left on the beach to see more shells than can be imagined. Turn right and plenty of room to spread out and claim your spot.

Really nice tucked away beach with beautiful water, great fishing and tons of shells. The only negative thing about this beach is the parking, it's very limited (about 10 or 12 spots). But besides that it's a really incredible beach. It's my favorite beach by far in Southwest Florida. Really one of Southwest Florida's hidden gems!
