I visited this super cute store on Saturday and I was very warmly greeted by a young girl! She offered my kids free stickers and made their day! My shopping trip was wonderful and I was also helped by an older woman. We will be visiting again next year so I hope I get to see the young red haired girl again! Thank you for this experience

I cannot recommend this souvenir and beach shop enough! It has anything you can think of for the beach, and also some really awesome souvenirs! It seems to be under a new name, salty paws, but it is still the same store, and it looks like it has even more stuff!! The process were reasonable and lady who checked us out was awesome as well! So glad that the store is doing well after the hurricane! Make sure you get yourself in here!!!P.S. They currently have a customer appreciation kind of sale going on - 25% off everything! (February 2023)

We had such a wonderful time in this shop. The gentleman working, Jim, was so kind and genuinely friendly. The shop itself was full of fun shirts and beachy items. Clean and inviting. It was a pleasure shopping there and talking with Jim, who made us feel very welcome and appreciated. On the other hand, there was an older woman who worked there (maybe the manager, I think) who was extremely rude, unwelcoming, and very unfriendly. The others were great, so hopefully she takes a vacation, gets some customer service training, retires, or finds another job. I understand retail is tiring, but customers are what keeps your store going.

One of the very few places on the island that's still open after hurricane Ian. They have a wide variety of items to choose from and their prices are as expected for the area. A lot of #CAPTIVIASTRONG items to choose from to support the cause. Definitely will be returning while on my vacation.

So much fun stuff! It's a souvenir shop, folks. You either like them, or you hate them. This place is so full of color and life. The prices weren't terrible and we got some good stuff to take home.

We went into the store looking for souvenirs to take home. A lot of the items weren't priced and there was a bin of plastic coins so my husband picked up several for our grandson. Come to find out they were $1.95 and $2.95 each. Andrea rang him up and when the total came to almost $22 he asked her how much they were each and she got an attitude with him and proceeded to read each one out to him. He asked her to refund 5 of them totaling $11.45. As he walked out I went back inside as my daughters were still shopping. The cashier Andrea was making fun of him with the other customers in line asking them if they want her to ring them up and then refund some. My daughters put back their items and walked out. I will not patronize any store with employees as rude as Andrea. It's a shame we shop there everytime we are in Sanibel but no more.

It was very disconcerting to go in there and none of the staff were wearing masks and didn’t have clean pens to use for signing the receipt. The store is changed a lot in the last year. It used to be super cool but now there are not as many quality choices.

I waited in line a long time to purchase a beach umbrella advertised for$8.99 and saw the cashier Jim took his sweet time chatting with all customers in front of me. When it's my turn, he first deny the store sells $8.99 umbrellas. After I showed him his store sign, he refused to fetch one for me and asked me to wait until he finished the rest of customers who waited behind me(7groups). I complained but he didn't care. It's either because I only want to buy a $8.99 umbrella or because I'm an Asian girl. He said he's the only staff in store. I was in the store earlier and there's a young man, very kind and helpful, who helped me with various items when it's my turn, even though he's alone in the store and there's a line behind me. During Jim's chats with other customers, I've learned that the young man was out for lunch break. So unlucky to miss him.

Employee Andrea was very rude and unprofessional. I was there shopping earleir today and their was an elderly gentleman a few people ahead of me who was purchasing some items. After she had checked him out he had asked very politely for a refund for a few of the items due to the items not having price tags and not realizing how much it totaled. He apologized to her and the others in line while she proceeded to give him attitude. She then proceeded to make fun of him with the two groups of customers in front of me. I left my items and will not support a store who makes fun of their customers, especially elderly customers, for wanting to refund a few items.

Best souvenir shop on the island. Most comfortable graphic tees and awesome stickers for your hydro flask or bumper sticker. Plus very clean bathrooms for customers to use.
