Really awesome shop! I go here often after working out, and the staff are really friendly. I got my baby tanimbar blue tongue skink from them (old pic) and reached out regarding something and they were very quick to give a solution. Really awesome selection of birds, lizards, and other mammals, however don’t let their current inventory hinder your experience. Ask the man that works there if he can get his hands on something for you, and he’ll try his best! I’ve been looking for a European legless lizard awhile now and he’s got my name jotted down to find me one. They sell live pinkies/mice and it’s great for my reptiles!!You’re the reason my reptile babies thrive!

Amazing staff! Family Run I do believe.. Very helpful and knowledgeable, they can answer any questions you may have and they genuinely care about what they do! We have a chameleon and a rottweiler puppy from them and they care about updates on how they are doing. Not something you see from your average pet store.

I absolutely LOVE this place. We have bought over 30 different tarantulas here, Shane is very knowledgeable and has always been kind and informative. Hes taken the time to explain species and risks of owning them, but also very patient when we ask to see 10+ different ones per visit.If you want a great experience, at a knowledgeable, family owned store, this is your best bet. They have a great selection of pets and supplies, and who doesnt want to help support a fantastic family business.

This place is family owned and run. They are all very eager to help and knowledgeable about a vast variety of different types of pets. What they don't have, they will happily order for you and their prices are comparable to other places (sometimes better). I’ve seen them carry fish, snakes, lizards, ferrets, bunnies, hamsters, chinchillas, dogs, sugar gliders, etc (along with all their initial start-up needs as well as every day supplies). They get to know their customers and seem to genuinely love what they do. Fantastic place!

Well curated & well stocked pet supply store. Perfect for a bag of kibble, toys, hay & chew toys for small pets, aquarium supplies, and crickets. Their animal keeping knowledge is massive but pet rabbit feeding advice was outdated. I suspect their passion is reptiles and they have a selection on display and for sale and they keep them beautifully, in lovely, meticulous habitats. They also have a small selection of fish and small pets. The owner and employees are helpful and if they don’t carry something, they will help you find a solution and order what you need.

It's a very small place. Not very fancy at all. Not many animals or fish but they do have a few cute, small animals like parakeets and bunnies. We did get some mystery snails that we love and are thriving still. They are really cool.

I'm about to come down to get feeders and realized I've never left a review. I appreciate how friendly everyone is, and how well stocked you guys always are. It's nice to just stop at one place to get my rats, mice, and bugs.I'm scrolling through some of these reviews, and I just don't understand the negative ones at all.... I've never experienced anything like those... But, I do work retail and I know you can't please everyone. Especially the psychos lol 🤣😆

My FAVORITE place in Cape Coral for pet supplies! Great prices and very knowledgeable staff! I would go in here and spend half an hour just playing with the ferrets! I moved out of state so I can’t go here anymore, but I wanted to make sure I left a good review to spread the word about what a cool place this is! The animals are always so well cared for and kept so clean too. Which is hard to find in pet shops. Way to go patriot pets!

It's a great pet shop. Not as large as the big box stores but still have a good assortment. Shane and the rest of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and can answer any questions you may have. They do have several exotic animals and my fiancee and I have purchased many fish and a pastel ball python from them and all are in great health! Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The young man who helped my partner and I purchase our first spider was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We were about to purchase another pink toe from a pet store down the road and I'm so glad we decided to check out patriot instead! The best customer service and the staff talks to you like family, making sure all your questions are answered. There are no stupid questions, they are so helpful! Thank you guys and I wish I could remember the name of the man who helped us but we will be returning as faithful customers thanks to him for all of our pet needs.

The store owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. Provided me with information about Betta's nesting habits. He didn't have what I was looking for but gave me tips on how to clean my tank and didn't push any unneeded products on me. I will be shopping here and support local business.

Randomly stumbled upon this shop, and I'm so glad I did! The staff is super friendly, helpful, and all around knowledgble in every subject. They sell such a diverse variety of products for all types of pets, and I absolutely love the fact that every associate can assist you in any section. Their selection of fish is what truly blew me away! They have such a wide array of species, from easy, common, and inexpensive, all the way up to niche, rare, and high-end species, with everything in between. I've stopped in twice this week already, and I can definitely see myself shopping here for all of my pets from now on!

I’ve been going here for the past year for all of my fish needs. This store is family owned which is awesome. They are all extremely knowledgeable about all pets, especially fish. All fish that I have bought from here have never been sick and are always healthy. Prices are very reasonable.

This small family owned pet store is awesome. We go there for all of our pet needs. If they don't have what we are looking for in fish...they order it for us!. This is the best pet store around! Birds, reptiles, fish, pups, ferrets, rabbits... you name it they probably have it!

Family owned which is cool.. Have awesome chameleons (not for sale). And the owner has a lemur which is fun (also not for sale). Got a very unhealthy rabbit from them. The pellet bowl in the enclosure had bugs in it... Prices can be beat at places like Amazon Pet store which I continued to go to before we moved. Perk is they are convient to SW cape. But worth it quality wise...? You decide..

I go to many pet stores to find different turtles, I ended up finding one here and bought it , this happened three times from when I was small until now, they all died in about 2 weeks. Thinking I should get them because they’re cooI but I knew I shouldn’t because they’ll probably die..... I also bought a freshwater eel and it died in like two weeks also. I feel like you caught it and sold it in your store. You people are nice but your store isn’t
