A true deli - an original, wonderful, friendly place that serves delicious food.According to the MyAreanetwork website, “Canaveral Meats & Deli is a locally owned business. We sell the freshest meat on the beach and also have a full deli with daily soup and sandwich specials.” My partner and I decided to try this on the way back from an event. We wanted something different from fast food and saw this along the way. It is a street off A1A, north of Ron Jons. Located in a small, older, strip center it is one of the middle stores with plenty of parking for customers. The staff was very friendly and gave us great suggestions for sandwiches. 3 people were working behind the counter that stretched the length of the store showing the beautiful cuts of beef and side dishes. We ordered a Reuben and a roast beef sandwich and finished both before arriving home. We also picked up steaks for dinner. The sandwich prices were excellent at just under $6 for a GREAT sandwich. This is a deli and NOT a restaurant as there is no seating. It is a great place that I plan to visit again. If you are in the area and want some delicious sandwiches at a great price, I would highly recommend visiting this store!

I don’t know a beTTa sandwich. Then they have the fizzy water, prepared meals, great steaks and bacon. They had a natural fly spray that works next to the one I was going to have to find somewhere else. I wanna be neighbors

I ordered pastrami with simple fixings. My husband ordered roast beef with lots of fixings.When we got to our favorite beach spot 30 minutes later and opened our sandwiches, we found out I got roast beef, and my husband got HAM. Not even close!! Luckily the sandwiches were still pretty good, but the fixings and condiments we chose certainly would've been a lot better with the meats we ordered lol.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Meat is always top quality at reasonable price points. We now buy all of our meat here. The filet mingnon was melt in your mouth tender. We always get the Danish ribs. They are always fall off the bone tender yet meaty and flavorful. I highly recommend trying this place

I live one block away. I will not ever go here for subs again. My sub was $15 for Xtra meat and cheese which is fine if you could call what they put on it Xtra. The staff were very unfriendly. This was my second time there. I did buy steak here that I was pleased with. The third time I went was last straw. Didn't buy anything had to go back because husband had my card they wanted his id which I understand so he came got me and they sold my things before I got there 5 minutes later. They wouldn't even look at me in deli part. So for me Hayes meat is where I'll take my business and money.

This place is awesome. The staff is amazing. That is one of the main reasons I continue to go here week after week. The food is amazing too.They make 4 fresh soups everyday and they are out of this world. I have never had a bad one. Even in the summer time I get the soup but it is especially good right now while it is cold out.They also make fresh sandwiches and subs and they have a special everyday that is very affordable. Be sure to check out their Facebook page everyday to see the soups and sub of the day.You can also buy fresh meat to take home and cook yourself.I can't say enough about this place. Support local and grab lunch here. Great food but even better staff.I'll see you all tomorrow.Ps- Id share a photo but I ate it all already.

To the cashier, PLEASE do NOT use your spit to separate anything ESPECIALLY money. No one wants your germs and you're dealing with food. After witnessing this, she then went behind the deli counter and didn't wash her hands This may seem harsh, but I don't think I should have to say or witness this.

Wonderful sandwiches at very reasonable prices. You'll neve go to Subway or Jersey Mike's after coming here .steak and provolone was Delcious also the Roast beef very very good, I was also impressed with the meataball

The staff was so friendly, polite and helpful. They were wonderful with excellent customer service skills! The meat package we chose had a huge variety of meats, and definitely, was worth the money! Their prices are amazingly inexpensive for the amount of meat you receive, and their meats are so fresh! I highly recommend them and will continue purchasing our meats from them! Thank you so much!

Just awesome the staff is the best - especially Debbie making the sandwiches - try the pastrami and corned beef yum - clean great quality and so so friendly - just like I grew up with in mass my dad had a grocery store and he was a butcher good old memories ❤️☺️

First time here. Very good sandwiches at very reasonable prices. The name says it all. It's a meat market with a small but excellent deli. Had a large Reuben sub and small tuna sub, excellent mustard potato salad and the cost was less than $13. Most important the food was excellent.

Love this place. They have great subs and soups. Plus their meat selection is amazing best steaks in brevard! Nice and friendly staff. Highly recommend the broccoli and cheese soup!

Meat section is 2nd to none in terms of quality and pricing. Sandwiches are less expensive than most but quality and amount reflect price. Service is excellent the most part with an occasional I'm too busy to help you attitude. Their soups are phenomenal and the online ordering menu is a great addition since call aheads during peak times never seemed to be a good idea!!

If you are lucky enough to arrive on a day they are serving their fresh in-house smoked brisket or roast beef, consider yourself blessed! If not, any fresh sliced deli sandwich will do. Along with their grab and go items, soups and absolute unmatched chip selection, the place is a bustling lunch treasure. Of course it’s also a small grocery, and accepts food stamps. This is by far the best deli and meat market in our entire area!!! The subs and sandwiches are out of this world and the price can't be beat. Why ever go to a corporate sub shop where ya get hardly any meat and your order is over $8, when you get subs from Canaveral meats it is good and meaty with an Awesome price. We also buy their meat packages that are a steal. Not only are the prices of the packages awesome and the meat is high quality cuts; but they also will package it to your specifications!!! Besides all that the staff is the best anywhere! They are always smiling and remember you just like as if it was a small town deli! I LOVE THEM and anyone who hasn't gone yet is really missing out!! As a matter of fact I am ordering right now ;)

I live in the neighborhood so I come to this place often. The food then cooking package is delicious every time. The butcher is extremely knowledgeable and they have a nice selection of meats. The staff is always friendly. Whether you live in Cape Canaveral or just visiting I strongly suggest trying Canaveral Meats.

If you are on a budget this is a great place to get a sub sandwich for cheap. Subs are under five dollars and they are pretty meaty. They have a full meat counter for reasonable (much cheaper than Publix) prices. Butcher is also available for special requests and not standard meat cuts (I like my steaks two inches thick).
