Dollar general has and always will my go to of dollar stores. I always find everything I'm looking for and the prices are always affordable. You can catch really good discounts and promotions also. Dollar general also has the hook up on good but cheap beauty products that you can't find in other stores. I also like the fact that they are one of the few stores that actually allow you to manually punch in your EBT card info without a question unlike other stores wanting to see the card and your ID in order for you to use a card you may have lost and you desperately need that gallon of milk for your screaming toddler. I think I'll always favor dollar general over family dollar for sure and will always avoid walmart at all costs they are over crowded and way over priced.

Cashier is at the self checkout actually ringing customers (African-American customers). The regular register is available, she's the only employee in the store. When I asked "oh so now you guys are scanning and bagging at self checkout" she responds I was helping another customer earlier. I said makes no sense too me, just open your regular register and check out customers (no response). If there's no trust, go back to the original way. I don't want to do their job anyway.

They only have self checkout open and if you request a cashier they get snarky. I do not get paid to check out my own purchases.

I have never been charged for 10 lb bags of Ice only to find 7 lb bags in your coolers on the way out.Please check your receipts guys, because many of the great deals at this chain are Bogus. Last week, at another Dollar General location, I went in thinking I was getting a deal on lawn and garden items, yet it was the same overstocked 4th of July supply on sale (No charcoal, of course.) And the buildings makes cell phone service pretty much inoperable so you can't go on their website and show a price that's listed versus what they are charging you.

Just wanted an XXL El Monte potato cheese and bacon breakfast burrito, but they like all the other dollar stores mysteriously stopped carrying the sought-after, highly convenient, delicious breakfast option that I wanted so bad.

Store could be a little cleaner & more organized, but when you find what you are looking for there is normally a good selection. Friendly staff, fair prices. Could use a few more summer outdoor decorations, or a good restock.

I like to give business to smaller chain stores as much as possible. They did have the canned dog food I went to get unfortunately, they only had 2 different flavors so I still had to go to the big box stores. Then was a bit difficult to push the cart around in because there were several stacks of merchandise stacked in the isles waiting to be stocked.

Manager Josh and friends were so helpful and kind. I have never been in a store where they were so helpful and understanding. I will definitely be back there. As soon as I got a chance I went to fill out a survey- but they no longer offer them😞

The employees were very helpful. The cashier helped me find and access the digital coupons through the Dollar General app and the employee on the floor asked if i needed any assistance. They were both very nice as well.

Clean but manager is not very nice. We tried to purchase something when we got up to the register the wrong tag was on it and she accused my boyfriend / fiance of changing prices on it. I don't think he would even know how to do that. She made smart comments to the girl working at the register. It made us feel awful even though we had not done anything wrong.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Have bought various items here and taken discarded items from the dumpster to help the homeless and donate pet items. Well today I went with friends and purchased drinks. The manager, Stephanie, told us we had to leave and that I was banned, but only after we paid for the drinks. She did not give a reason. Then later, the assistant manager, Lisa, called the police as we were leaving and claimed we were stealing. The police came out and issued a trespass order and officially banned me. They need to lose their jobs, because clearly they cannot handle customer service.

This store is super crowded and I don't mean with people. They keep their flat carts in the middle of the aisles and it blocks their customers from being able to shop. The digital coupons you can click off the website? Yeah, the store won't honor them for some reason. It doesn't matter if you enter in your phone number or not.The service there is absolutely horrible. One register for 12 people in line is ridiculous. That's worse than Walmart! The additional hands that are needed for help are too busy on their phones prancing around like customers are invisible. And the one girl who is at the register is rude as can be. She not only has her cell phone out while ringing up items, but she will stop doing that and text or get on Facebook while the customer is waiting to leave. Are you kidding me??? Unprofessional. This store is awful. The workers are lazy. There is no space to even walk to get what you need.

Love to shop here can't afford to shop anywhere else. I can find everything I need from food to clothes to personal needs. The staff is great and it is clean. I would love it even better if they would carry Rolltide items!! L.O.L.

Unfortunately could not give this store 5 stars, always clean, easy to find items, however, because of what seems to be a high turn over rate, some of thier employees tend to have an "I don't care" attitude. Customer service is always first in an establishment and some of thier employees have no problem talking bad about customers in front of them.

I love this store. I know the people and where everything is. I don't have to walk half a mile to get what I want and the parking is great. Prices are good and the products are top notch. Clean store.

Jess is very unprofessional. I have never in my life had such a bad experience at this place. You are not allowed to yell at at your customers saying “2 minutes left” “it’s 10 make your way to the front”. After I called to ask who the manager was & when they would be in she claimed she was the manager &&&& the superviser. I then told her I would be leaving a bad review. The general manager can expect to recieve a phone call from me. This woman was rude and was wearing pajamas AT WORK. she doesn’t belong in a customer service environment AT ALL.

We shop Dollar General weekly. Good selection of food and other things. They have enough employees to assist you without poor attitudes. Our DG is close to home.

After choosing to shop at DG over Family Dollar forever, I now take all my money to Family Dollar. They usually have cleaner stores than DG. And they don't card 50 year old folks for tobacco products every single time you walk in the door! DG does this even when they see you everyday!

Busy store and only one register at all times, even peak hours. Line wait time is 10+ minutes. Customers shop here not only for the low prices but also because they need to get in and out quickly. Unfortunately management doesnt get that.

Long lines should be rwo cashiers when more than 3 people are waiting. Very good sells, store was clean and the staff was polite and helpful.
