I feel like reviewing this Walgreens because I see the low rating and upon reading the reviews it seems to be related to the pharmacy. I don’t use the pharmacy but this Walgreens is great. I mostly use it for the photo center. Everyone is always friendly and quick to help. I’ve come consistently and have had no issues.

So tired of the rude pharmacy employees at this location! My daughter just tried to drop a script off for me and unfortunately she doesn't know the name of the female working the drive thru window, just a younger white female was super rude to a TEENAGER (who doesn't fully understand what to do other than just doing a favor for her parent while driving thru town!) LEARN TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE POLITELY, ESPECIALLY TEENS JUST DOING FAVORS FOR THEIR PARENTS! Unfortunately, insurances don't allow us to use other pharmacies so we are stuck dealing with these god awful people who hate their jobs!

Pharmacy is awful. They really need a new pharmacist. It’s sad you have the same doctors, the same prescriptions, the same insurance, and the same pharmacy for years and yet they give you a hard time about filling your medication. Even the other pharmacy in town talks about the stories they hear how it’s not a good store. I think we should all start complaining to our insurance companies. They don’t deserve the contracts they have because customer service is awful. I don’t Even want to give a 1 star.

The Pharmacy is really terrible. "Your prescription is ready". Go in "You're unable to pick up your prescription. Problem with the pricing". Later the same day "Your prescription is ready ". Go in 20 minutes after they said it was ready......."You're unable to pick up your prescription. Problem with the pricing". IF WE QUIT DOING BUSINESS WITH PLACES LIKE THIS. THEY'LL FIX THE PROBLEM.

This pharmacy used to be really terrible but I think they may have changed the pharmacist and staff bc when I call, the actual answer and allow me to speak to the pharmacist. Medication isn't such an act of congress to get filled too.

This place has the worse pharmacist! Customer service is awful in pharmacy. It is not every Walgreens either. Any other one I've been to they are beyond helpful. It's sad you can't use your in town pharmacy.

I have only experienced kindness from the Pharmacy members working. I have several Rxs refilled here for my family monthly. I've seen a lot of impatient customers get nasty with people in the pharmacy which is ridiculous. Consistency is key, and even I have been given inconsistent answers, which happens everywhere, but I keep asking questions until it makes sense, or I get the answer I'm looking for. No one has patience or kindness anymore it seems. I have sat in that same drive thru for 40 minutes before because they were slammed outside as well as inside, not to mention I live in Bryceville, not Callahan, and I'm on a schedule just like everyone else, and I don't take it out on the people in the Pharmacy. If you have an issue with waiting, then come back, or just go somewhere else period. These people don't deserve to be treated like this, and if they did, then that's something that should've been taken up with a manager. Seems every place we go these days, there is more work than workers. If the issue is waiting time, than you can act like a herd of cattle and Mooooooooove it along is the way I see it.

I had to switch to Walgreens because of insurance. I sincerely dislike this store. It is old and dingy. The shelves are rarely stocked, particularly with sale items. The pharmacy is under-staffed. Even if you call ahead to make sure your prescription is ready, inevitably, I have to wait.I wish I could go back to CVS

Called Walgreens early today and recording stated I had my 6 RX to be refilled. I said yes to each. I Waited until early evening to pick RX up and none were ready and even said there were no messages regarding refills. What good is an automated answering device on the phone if a human can disregard the messages. This Walgreens is particularly slow and I’m here is always a line through the parking lot for the Pharmacy. I think a visit from corporate would be a great idea particularly during the afternoon hours. That way you could get a feel of what customers go through regularly.

Worse place ever. During the pandemic this place went down. They never have anything and it always on back order. We had to move all our prescriptions to another pharmacy as they never had anything. So sad that employees now cannot perform simple tasks.

I'm not trying to be rude, but yall need to get with the 21st century. The Walgreens app let's you pay through it. Yet you refuse to let me use it in your store, when I have previously used it here. Manager says no. Do you just not understand how it works?? Wireless payment has existed for years.

The lady I just talked to in pharmacy I have talked to her twice but times she was rude and basically called me a liar plus my prescription got transfered there from winn-dixie now it's 5 times more than what I paid for them at Winn-Dixie worse pharmacy ever

I understand why their rating is so low. I had to go to this one in Callahan because the one closest to me, their system was down. The workers at the pharmacy are very rude, no one is forcing you to work there. If you can't provide good customer service get another job where you won't have to interact with people.

Absolutely the worst Walgreens location in what seems to be all of Florida. The staff in the pharmacy are completely and utterly the most rude and unpleasant people. I would really appreciate someone not smacking their food while asking me questions and holding up the pointer finger while I’m in mid sentence. Such an unprofessional group of ladies. If my insurance would cover CVS it would definitely be my pharmacy of choice. What’s the deal with only one lane open at a time? They are way to busy to be operating from only one window. They are so slow, it takes 20-30 minutes of sitting in line just to get the prescription filled. The main problem wouldn’t be so terrible if they can be slow and at least get all the correct instruments in the bag. They “forget” to give me the syringe for my newborns medication. Come on Walgreens is it that hard to be a little friendlier, faster and attentive!

Last post by Paul Brannigan I had to call the store manager Dorothy and complain once again about the lousy service from this store in Callahan. That's the only reason why he was taken care of in a timely manner. I dropped off a prescription for back pain medication today and was told that there is no wait time for this medication. They could not give me a time that would it would be ready. However, I have dealt with Fernandina Beach Walgreens and Dunn Avenue Walgreens and every time I go to these Walgreens I never get a hassle and they always tell me it will be ready in 20 minutes. All of these other Walgreens have the same policies and procedures and should be uniform in the service they provide to the community. In speaking with assistant manager Stephen, "I asked him why all of the other Walgreens have great customer service and this is the only store I have problems with?" Today his excuse was from, they have bought out a another pharmacy, to this is the busiest Walgreens in Callahan. Also stating that there have been new laws and regulations set into place in the last 2 weeks. These are the excuses I get EVERY time I have issues and have to complain. I am so sick and tired of having to go to battle every time I deal with Callahan Walgreens. Unfortunately no place around here accepts my insurance besides Walgreens. Obviously their Google review is a 2.6 for a reason. Maybe management should go to these other 2 stores and see how they execute great customer service. I will submit a Google review each month until they get it right. Also i will reach out to corporate office once again in regards to this store. Unacceptable. Customer NO service. Through all of my complaints nothing seems to be getting better.

The customer service is AWFUL! We stood in line for 10 monutes and NO ONE even acknowledged us. Then we were told we needed to go to the drive thru for Covid testing but when we got there we waited again and was not acknowledged, we were the only car in the drive thru.

The service at this location is lacking to say the least! Although the staff is very accommodating they are constrained by an incompetent management group and company that doesn’t care about them (employees) or their customers!Once again, electronic prescription can not be filled due to a glitch in there computer system.This is the 3rd time this year that I was told of this problem. You would think that management would have fixed this problem the first time it happened or at least after the 2nd time.It is going on day 4 and the the system is still down. I have contacted their corporate office several times in the past 2 days with no response. So, you can see why the service isn’t a priority, because it isn’t a priority with the company!As of day 2, the store WILL NOT even answer the phone, even though they tell you to call back at a later time. Not very cool!My recommendation is to find another pharmacy if you can.

The slowest, most inconvenient and rude Walgreens pharmacy I have ever been to. They confront the customer by telling them "sir you're just going to have to wait for your meds and it might take all day depending on your attitude" I was stunned that she told me that when I explained that it is absolutely dire that I have my medicine. Absolutely no compassion. I tried asking for a manager and she States "I am the manager" her name is Phyllis. I hope someone from corporate reads this.

Worst Walgreens!! I only go there because they're contracted with my insurance. I get tired of calling and told our systems are down and we can't look anything up, I mean this seems to happen a lot. Pretty sure it's because they don't want to help. So glad I didn't get a job there.

Always a long wait time and a huge ordeal for a simple prescription. The staff is not friendly or professional and always act like it’s an inconvenience for me to fill my prescriptions there. The only reason we go back is because our insurance does not cover CVS.

I originally wrote this review as a 5 star only to learn my wife called the store manager while I was waiting and that was the only reason why they got me in and out in a hour and a half. They have no empathy for people, they act as if you owe them something and treat you as a second class citizen. I have been in management my entire life from my professional opinion my experience and how I see other customers being treated something is severely broken at the Callahan Walgreens. Every month we have to prepare ourselves to do battle when filling my scripts. I will begin to search for another pharmacy I always give business allot of opportunities to fix issues but nothing ever changes. They only give you excuses and lip service. WALGREENS YOU HAVE BECOME TO BIG FOR YOUR BRITCHES AND HAVE LOST THE BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT IT TAKES TO SUSTAIN IN BUSINESS LONG TERM.

Yes I just went into your lovely Walgreens tonight at 7:56 p.m. and was told they couldn't fill my prescription because they close at 8. And they wouldn't be able to get it done until 8:11 p.m. so she couldn't fill it for me tonight. Never mind that some of us work and can't get there any sooner. Never mind that the paper on the counter said they closed at 9 p.m. . Now if it was a medication that I could just stop taking I would not have a problem with that. But the fact that no one was informed of Callahan's new hours and the paper in front of my face said they didn't close until 9 p.m. it was a little upsetting! The manager was just as rude and was no help whatsoever he comes back out and said she said she was going to fill it for you well if she was going to fill it why did she hand me my prescriptions back? So his solution was to go take the papers off the counter that said they closed at 9 p.m. he got rid of those! So all these five star employees you got working out here in Callahan who didn't want to do their job that close to closing time just lost y'all a $900 prescription because I went right across the street to CVS and they were filled in as little as 10 minutes! Which my prescription insurance is CVS Caremark but I preferred Walgreens because y'all use the manufacturer to package my medication individually and I preferred that so my prescription didn't get destroyed halfway through the month. However I will never step foot inside a Walgreens for anything again! And I'll be sure to spread the word around this tiny little town about the first class service there at Walgreens!

Literally the worst pharmacy of any Walgreens I have ever delt with . Do your self a favor and use CVS . Would give zero stars if I could . Was “threatened” by Phyllis that she would take away my insurance co pay and make me pay full price, when I asked why I was told my rx would be ready in 5 mins and it was 45 mins later and still no rx .

Always long waits, always issues getting your prescriptions filled even though you get the same ones every month and the auth from the insurance company is valid and the same number for a year. Every time you call you get put on hold for 30 minutes just to be disconnected. Way to treat people that are ill Walgreens! Get it together!!

This is by far the ABSOLUTE WORSE pharmacy I have ever in my entire life had to use due to my insurance. They treat you like garbage. I have a severely damaged spine and they make me beg/wait for hours for my medication every month. I wish they would open a new pharmacy that I could go to. I HATE Walgreen's. They are the worst.

I went this afternoon to pick up medicine. Nothing like rolling up to the window and the lady waiting on you is smacking on crunch n munch. As she is asking for my info she is steadily smacking away. Then she preceded to tell me that I have to wait. I asked why? You guys text me telling me prescription is ready. She said idk as she grabbed another handful of crunch n munch. It took 25 minutes to get 1 prescription this place is ridiculous very unprofessional. This isn't the only time I've had an issue. I'd use CVS but they suck too.

Unfortunately my insurance doesn't allow me to go to CVS. I'm going to call to find out where else I can go before next month. Its only the people in the pharmacy in Callahan. I went to a different store, and not 1 problem. They were very helpful and very polite. Maybe they should reconsider who they are allowing to run their store. I heard quite a few complaints on them .

Within a week I had two miserable experiences. The first resulted when I was given a dehydrated antibiotic for my son and had to double back to fix the situation which could have harmed my son of my wife was not a nurse and immediate recognized the error. The manager in this instance at least tried to make the situation better and apologized.For the second experience I went in to get pictures my wife turned in online. I was told they looked professional and thus would not allow me to have them. This was not a problem except that the woman I assumed was the assitant manager was incredibly rude about it. There was no watermark and nothing that would have indicated that these were professional because they were not. I again had to double back after my wife called and the photo employee attempted to pass it off as saying when it was developed they flagged it. Again this would not have been a problem had there not been such rudeness about it.Simply put there is a CVS across the street and they will now get all of my family's business.

Exceeding slow pharmacy service. The staff at this location are usually professional but not in the pharmacy this pharmacy is ridiculous in their procedures. All Walgreens stores are way over priced they do have a certain product that I cannot find that all the stores and that’s why I shop here
