It's the nicest Dollar General in Callahan believe it or not everything was well organized it was well stocked and I didn't have to wait but for one other person in line. The cashier was friendly and happy like she really enjoyed her job. Found some great deals and they're starting to get some of the summer stuff in stock.

Went in today to grab a few small things I needed only 3 people working and they weren't even paying attention to the counter at all.. no cash payments could be taken and you could only use self check out for debit. The old man behind me asked the older lady with red curly hair working here what happens if he needed cigarettes making a joke that he'll grab them himself well she proceeded to get an attitude with the man and saying that he would have to go find one of the workers to get them for him. She was beyond rude to the people behind me and didn't care about blaming other people for why no one was watching the front

This is the third time I tried to use the $5 off coupon. The cash register doesn’t recognize it. Today it crashed the system and had to be rebooted. I wasn’t able to make my purchase.There never seems to be enough help at this store and the aisles are always full of carts of unshelved merchandise.

Employees and Manager are nice and talk I visit at least 4 times a week. Some places u have cashier's that don't even ask how ur doing let alone be able to carry a full conversation with you. They are doing a great job up the as always

I placed and order for pickup. My order was short 2 Gallons of peach tea. But my order was ready as soon as I walk in .Ms Dot was kind the store was very neat and clean . I would stop I n again whenever I'm in area to say hello Ms Dot and shop because the store was super neat and clean. Thank you Ms Dot you should get a raise in pay.

I stood in line for 20 minutes waiting to get checked out.4 people had to go to the self check out because nobody was around then one finally showed up, she was very un sociable. Rudist employees here I've ever seen. If I come back in this store and happens again I guarantee u u'll be on t.v.

The aisles are always clear and free of stacked inventory, the store is clean and well lit. The selection is great, they have frozen foods, dairy and even ground beef! Recently started selling beer too.

What can I say? It's the dollar general. Wasn't really spoken to by sales associate but, don't really expect to be. The store was somewhat cluttered but no more than usual. Not my favorite place to shop but not my least favorite either. They had 1 out of 2 things I was looking for so there's that.

It was okay they don't keep my favorite cleaning supplies in stock much. it's convenient to go a few minutes down the road and shop. Rather than go all the way to Wal-Mart

Always find things that bargain prices and it's convenient you got self checkout and a couple of registers so you're not there long

Always have gone to Dollar store in Callahan. Always loved it n still go there but only down fall to me now is. I've tried to use a few coupons there n they r usually out of it or the digital coupons app at register is down.

Music was canned gospel, not radio quality but cassette tape amateur. Small town charm, busy roadway entrance. Faster line than most other nearby Dollar Generals.

Dollar General is my go-to for everyday needs, cheap. I just moved again and it's more than convenient going 5 minutes down the road for all the little things I need for my new home. One less star because this location frequently has long lines, but they are super friendly and apologetic about it.

It's always clean. Busier than most Dollar Generals. Line can take a while, but overalll great shopping experience. New store opening on US HWY1 soon!

Ok nothing to brag about. Purchased a few items. Aisles are crowded difficult to manuver around. I usually ask for cash back, then I noticed on my receipt there was a 1.50 service charge in small print. My fault for not paying closer attention.

Great go to place for running in and grabbing what you need! A bit cluttered from time to time...due to having to leave items being restocked in the aisles...but overall a nice store.

COVID-19 danger. Employees and customers were not wearing masks & store was crammed with merchandise so no social distancing. Skip this store if you want to reduce risk of infection.

Sometimes they are super busy sometimes it's a ghost town. So there are generally only 2 people working. So when its busy you'll find lines. Can find good bargains here. And discounts.

I thought I had left something up there and they told me to call back later, when I did they told me when they looked at the video I had gotten everything. So even if I had left something they weren't going to honor it. They are rude even the manager.

The remodeling this store in my neighborhood just completed has made it an outstanding store. It has to complete walls the pie cases for cold foods and drinks.
