The only place in the entire area to get BEST pet food and supplies❣️ They have awesome selection and Willie is super knowledgeable about preventative pet care. It’s great to have support!! Please do your research for your own education. It’s our job to keep our pets healthy- preventative-wise. Doctors don’t do that- be loyal to your dogs and cats. 🙏🏼💕 and for God’s sake- don’t be cheap‼️ Buying the best dog and cat food is cheaper than the vets bills give me a break‼️

Thank God for this store, they help me with my dog who has severe allergies, too all bag dog food and canned dog food, thanks to Happy tails, I have learned about the raw diet for my dog. And it is helping a lot. Thank you Happy tails from me and my dog.♥️

The owner of the store is amazing. He carry’s all natural foods actually came twice today he answered all my questions because I was not familiar with the brands of food (was there for cat food) I left with wet food came back for a bag of dry food and he even has ground meat for pets (frozen when you buy it of course) his hospitality was amazing along with his patience definitely recommend 100% will come back

Customer service is excellent, good variety of pet foods dry/wet/raw , they also have raw meats great selections. Willie is knowledgeable and pleasant, he took the time to explain different dog foods pros/cons.

I love that this place doesn't carry raw hide products. Immediately shows they've researched what healthy items to carry. I purchased some raw dog food from them and so far my dogs love it. This will be our new pet store moving forward.

I don't know where to begin my review because this store is great, not only for the wide selection of food and products they carry, but because of the staff ..... they are truly exceptional human beings. The only time you're a stranger is when you're outside the door because as soon as you're through, you become part of an extended animal foodie family many of us newbies dream about.I actually encountered this establishment about a year ago when I had moved to the area and had physically lost one of my dogs. I was excited because of the raw options they offered for my Doberman but more importantly they quickly offered to take my poster for my lost pup. That was it. I found my pupper BUT I lost the store because I never wrote down the name or address!!Luckily I found them again and I couldn't believe it. This store is fantastic - there are so many different selections of food (kibble, freeze dried, raw), treats, products, toys, etc, etc, etc so much! Unfortunately they were not carrying the kibble we are currently feeding - not a problem- I was lucky enough to be visiting on an order day and my bag was ordered that day and I picked it up the next. It's that easy and every staff member wants to be so helpful. On pick up, there was some confusion on the protein that was actually in stock from the warehouse BUT i waited for a couple minutes and a phone call was made and the situation was rectified immediately. In that time, I met two more regulars who told me how much they loved Happy Tails and they had been coming there for years. One even said he came from Wesley Chapel bc he loved the service, the store and the fellow customers. I believe that says a lot in itself.I bought several products including some enzymatic carpet spray that staff suggested and it worked amazing. Another product I bought to hopefully prevent some wood chewing (knock on THAT WOOD that hasn't been chewed) bc it's working. I also bought some random dog chews and asked for suggestions for a "power chewer" bc our subscription box toys aren't cutting it for our current foster. Staff made a wonderful suggestion for a water buffalo horn AND our beautiful foster loves it too! Thank you!Happy Tails is really a wonderful small business that i'm proud to support. They are most interested in all of us having healthy, best fed pets. They also understand the value of adding small additions to your pet's current diet to make it healthier even if you can't afford to feed what you may feel is best for your pet. You can learn SO MUCH here about feeding. They'll work with you and offer suggestions for trying new things and ways to add more of what works for each member of your pet family. While the major focus is dogs and cats, I've seen 2 different bunny families come in and HapTails has offered to order what the families fed at home. The brand that I order for home, save 5% for auto ship and have delivered for free is actually a couple dollars cheaper at HapTails .... So there is no price inflation. I cancelled my auto ship today and my brand was excited I was shopping locally. I am too because this animal foodie is in love!! Our pack says Thanks Happy Tails!PS - they will carry your kibble or any order out to your car too. I'll honk to that.

If you want to bring in the new year with better health for your pet, stop in to Happy Tails. We used to feed our dog Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin formula a long time ago. After many months of waiting and hoping for it to clear, as a last resort ( having tried all other kibbles and cans) we switched to Stella and Chewy’s Duck Duck Goose Frozen Raw Patties for both of our dogs and haven’t looked back. Our dogs skin is no longer inflamed, both of them have lost weight. Happy Tails pet supply is one of the very few independently owned retailers in the Brooksville/ Spring Hill area to supply Stella and Chewys frozen products.

Im a regular of nearly 2 years now. This place is Very clean, and well organized. All of the staff members are extraordinarily knowledgeable. NON of the food they carry contains soy. Wondefful environment great prices my favorite cat and dog food store ever. I really just cant say enough good things.

They have the best brands, and are always cheaper than PetCo. It's a small store, but they have a shelf of toys, shelf of treats, cat litter, leashes, bones... a little bit of everything! The owner and his family that help out with the store are the friendliest people and will give you top-notch customer service every time. They've also offered to order certain treats for me if they don't have them stocked.

For a while I assumed this store had higher prices than it's chain store competitors, boy was I wrong. Our dog food is a bit pricey so we call around to the stores in our area for pricing before we purchase and Happy Tails has been the lowest priced option 100% of the time. They're also incredibly knowledgeable about all things pet related, and not just basic knowledge but more of like vet level knowledge. Another plus is their reward program, after so many purchases you get one free, with our food being around $80 this is a huge plus! I'm disappointed in myself for not checking this place out sooner but I'm glad I gave it a shot. Hands down best pet food store in Hernando County.

LOVE IT HERE! I drive a half hour just to come here for my dog/cat needs. They have our brand of Fromm and they also have freezers full of frozen bones, goat milk, and other foods. They ate super nice and appear to be family run if I am not mistaken.-Incredibly picky person

Some of us prefer to patronize local merchants whenever possible, so we were pleased to find this place, our 'go to' for our dog's raw diet and cats' food. Extremely knowledgeable and caring, these folks are nutrition savvy and always helpful. Their prices are competitive with online order companies, too, and no shipping costs. They don't mess with bottom of the heap brands AND they offer some 'frequent buyer discounts'. Thanks for being here, Happy Tails!

We have been going there for many years now, since our first pet here in Florida, (added him in 2007)...the owner's, a married couple Stacy and Jason have been instramental in helping us navigate food related issues, spot on recommendations for things to try...these folks always listen, always provide a high quality experience, the store is always clean, even the bathroom! Wonderful, helpful staff. My dog food is cheaper here than Chewy. Then to get the 12th bag free! That means a lot when you have 2 fur babies and want a quality raw food to keep them healthy. Nice owner .. Clean and good policies.Updated this a bit. I must add in that the prices for pet food here are cheaper than most places. In fact, I have tried amazon for a few tip brands and Happy Tails still beat amazon. Go for it guys. Save a few bucks!
