More than your corner dollar general. This pop shelf store is more like a downsized Walmart. Food home,furnishings, party supplies. They got it all. Friendly, smiling staff, clean bright store. Wider aisles than most stores. Not cluttered at all.

They allow managers to treat their employees like little less than servants. They use other employees infractions against everybody and do not even sympathetize when it is a family emergency. If you're looking to support local, go to dollar tree or scaffs/iga. They treat their people better and don't have double standards for their employees or favoritism.

Just absolutely horrible customer service and And sorry, that's putting it nicely! They had all the silverware on sale, I was simply trying to buy three forks and three spoons, And the manager wanted to debate that they were not included in the sale, when the sign clearly stated all silverware. They were the last of that particular design, so they were obviously on clearance along with all the other silverware as advertised but she was too lazy to adjust the price, didn't want to be bothered, or just had no clue.... Just a shame... Oh well they lost a $100 sale and I'll never be back. See ya!!

Bags rip open to easy food falls out of ripped bags in car.Also not properly bag. Bags are over filled with heavy glass stuff which gets broken before you can get it to the car by bags ripping.Something's should be double bagged but it feels like the cashiers are afraid to use too many bags.Some Cashiers are nice.Spent over 100. Today.spent 300 day before yesterday Riley was the cashier and did an excellent job of bagging and was fast and efficient.mafe us feel like she was glad we came.Food was properly bagged and we were out of therein the same amount of time it took to bag a hundred dollars today. Very improperly.What a difference a year made.This store was on a down hill slide Quality wise with few employees that were respectful or knew how to do their job. Now we have an over priced junk store that is being run by disrespectful managers.I really don’t know what The dollar general thought they were doing but they did not succeed in making their establishment more inviting or making us want to spend our money there. More stores to shop from in this little town. We got along find before they came here, will be glad to see them go.What few employees they had that were kind snd efficient they must have let go and hired people that are of the rudestNature I’ve ever meet.

This store is my favorite! They are near and clean! I can get everything I need because they have produce and meats. The whole length of the store is refrigerator and frozen foods. They have a great variety! The staff is kind and friendly. Again, this is my favorite store. They even have a wonderful variety of clothes. I have purchased many, and no one believes me when I say where I bought them. Good quality and great prices for most items..... If you need any over the counter meds, Dollar General is lower than most!

I would give it more stars but it seems like they need to restock because, while they are a market with meat and fresh veggies/fruit, it seems they don't have or they don't restock other sections as often as other $Generals. Also it would be nice if it didn't take so long to checkout. Seems like it's always at least a 20min wait to checkout.

Very nice always clean! There was an employee who was shopping and started helping my sister and I. She even offered to get us something from the back if needed or wanted. Of course I declined because she was off the clock but the gesture was amazing! It's the thought that counts!

The customer service is terrible at night.The Clerk's need to be educated on being polite. All problems should be able to be solved by the manager. Clearly management just gets by . I spend a lot here monthly.I'm sure another store will be happy to have my money. And probably have better customer service.

Not bad if you live a decent amount of miles away from a regular grocery store. They have a little bit of everything not a bad meat selection either. Plus they have everything that a regular Dollar General store would have. Only issue is sometimes they don't have enough cashiers to the amount of people.

The management in this store is horrid! I walked in to get a small handful of snacks and a few monster! This manager Mike was following me around making creepy comments about the snacks I wanted, the clothes I was wearing, the fact that I was wearing a mask etc. He then made several comments about paying for me because it looked as if I wasn’t able to afford it. The cashiers looked very upset when he was around. Very very upset with this experience and will never go back. 0/10. This place sucks.

New store layout isn't conducive to shopping by disabled. The aisles are too narrow.Two people going opposite directions can't get by one another. Staff even acknowledges the problems with the new layout.Yet no one made an effort to correct issues while remodeling.Instead of "popshelf" I believe the community would have been better served with an expanded grocery selection.It's hard to shop the store now.

I will NEVER shop here again. Sadly you can’t leave zero stars. The employees are rude and disrespectful. I read on Google that Popshelf wants to cater to higher income customers. Seriously? The shelves are stocked with low quality cheap trash in my opinion. There is a craft store across the street that treats customers with more respect or I can go to hobby lobby to purchase my higher quality craft items and be treated with dignity. Most food items are no longer available and what’s left is not stocked on the shelves. Others I have spoken with think the new Pop/dollar store is a joke as well. They raised the prices on some items higher than other dollar stores. I guess they want customers to pay for their imaginary improvements. It would have been nice if the restrooms had been improved or cleaned. And what’s with the receipt aka book? Ever thought about paper conservation? I can see where dollar general would like to appeal to the newer generations but they expect and deserve quality merchandise and respectful cashiers too. UPDATE! I started shopping the new Dollar General (not PopShop) just a few miles down the road and they have been so kind. Other customers were also commenting that they won’t be returning to this location.

I went in the other day to get some paper towels and dish soap. After getting to the check out line I had to wait for another customer to go get their id, which is perfectly understandable.The problem I had was the cashier. She made eye contact with me but never said hello. No harm still. Customer is finished now it's my turn. The cashier turns away and just keeps looking around for something while I wait for 10 whole minutes. Then another cashier and manager come up to switch out the drawers and the next cashier was very nice to me.The first cashier said nothing and didn't even smile. I know how shift changes work but she was very rude about it. Her name tag said Heather and another cashier confirmed that for me.If this is how you let your cashiers treat your customers than scaffs will be getting my business when I can't go to Walmart. Been going to this dollar general never anywhere else for the last 5 years and now this rude cashier just made me never want to go back. And I'll bet you won't even reprimand her.

Used to go here frequently, it had decent prices but recently the manager there, Mike, has been so rude to plenty of customers. And the prices have gone up drastically. I would not suggest going here, The all around staff are friendly but Mike makes the entire experience dreadful. I wont be going here any time soon as long as Mike is employed.

Favorite Place! Couple Employees Helped Me with Finding Macrame Cord.. it's in style to DIY. So I only found 1 and the only size 2mm. I was looking for 4-5mm.. we tried a different area. I didn't find cord but I found something I forgot! But if You could Stock Up on Macrame Products I think You'll do Well!! With Myself for Sure. Wouldn't doubt if You do and it's running out!? It's nice having a larger store in a smaller area I pretty much like everything about this store except for two things 1 there bathrooms the ladies bathroom is not fixed and always has a weird smell. 2 their meat their meat is very poor quality and never ever ever buy the discounted me not even for your dogs.

This store has it all, a huge selection of Groceries: produce, meat, frozen foods, dairy and even ice creams. Then you have all household, Auto, Baby, Medicine, Clothes for all, Stationary, Cleaning, and even pet supplies. The prices beat Everyone else's. Its easily accessible if your disabled with the electric carts to serve you.

Dollar General should have more Markets! Very good variety of needed items, excellent prices especially on fresh fruit and dairy. Their Clover Valley products are very good, especially the cookies. Love our local market.

There is always only 1 cashier at night, place is always busy. I don't understand why you can't add a few more cashier's, this is ridiculous to have to wait in line 20 minutes just to check out! Definitely poor management!!!

Everytime I've gone there lately they've got stale bread their prices are ridiculous for only four tomatoes, their onions and sometimes potato produce section is rotten or nasty.. it's no longer what it used to be.. this used to be a great place to go shopping when you need a little bit of stuff here. But now it's a place I would not go for food at all..

Every time you go in after 5pm they hardly have any registers open, management is just walking around pretending to work or telling their lead( that is also just walking around not opening a register.) that they're going to smoke. A few times you walk in and there is a strong smell of pot hitting you right in the face. just normally when that young man is there. Just really went down hill in that store since Daniel left as store manager.

The store is usually fairly cluttered, but a lot of that is due to it being such a popular store in a small town. It's almost always busy because of it.Has great prices, better than IGA/Scaff's on most things, and good hours.There is a great selection of food, but the produce quality varies. Sometimes really good produce, other times it's wholly underwhelming.

Clean interior, everything is easy to find - and unlike many Dollar General stores they are seldom out of anything. Best: everyone is really friendly, at least that's been my experience.
